An absolutely stunning property with beautiful gardens, views and cabins. The oversized and very well appointed rooms have two fireplaces and a wonderful veranda outside the rooms features a day bed and a dining table with 4 chairs. There are generous number of outlets, and excellent multi source lighting. Free Wi-Fi was also available everywhere. They also had a lovely little gift shop with reasonably priced items. Very friendly and helpful staff. The only downside was the food. The dining room was gorgeous, as were all the public spaces. But menu items with recognizable names were all slightly off from what one would expect them to be. Not in a “wow, what a creative twist” way, but rather a “huh?” way. Their gin & tonics were great though! All in all, it’s a beautiful high end hotel that I would certainly recommend.

This lodge, truly luxurious, is situated just beyond the Ngorongoro crater protected area. The setting is beautiful and magnificently maintained by a warm, attentive staff. The stay was so lovely that we're already thinking of trying other Neptune hotels in the hope that they could come even close to this one.

We had a wonderful stay at the Neptune Luxury Lodge for our honeymoon. The grounds are beautiful and the views from the deck out onto the forest are incredible. Many thanks to the staff for an incredible stay. We highly recommend a stay here. Adam and Hillary

I had just come off of working outside in the bush for a month plus in South Africa, then traveling to Kilimanjaro where I was able to summit- yay! But I was in much need of straight chill time. I couldn't have asked for a better place to relax, read and just enjoy the gorgeous nature around me. Neptune's property is so beautiful and lush that there is no way to feel other than completely tranquil. Add to the the world class service and attention to detail by the incredible staff, headed by Ali and Mary, and this place is a luxurious dream come true. From the whisking of bags to my room before I knew it, to the hisbiscus tea to welcome me and the amazing effort to organize a safari for my one free day before I had to leave- all of this was done with an understated confidence and calm, though I know my time line was tight. I can't thank Ali and Mary enough! The rest of the stay was equally impressive. Great food, beautiful turn down service with a fire in the room and water bottle in the bed, plus a divine chocolate. The rooms themselves, or I should say cottages, are huge! I can't believe the space I had to myself, even with 1-2 more people it would feel incredibly spacious. The balcony was the kicker though, a gorgeous view to the Tanzanian forest and a nice comfortable day bed where I sipped my wine and read on my first free day in months. What a treat this lodge was, I am so glad I chose those to stay at, even for one night. The one day and night I was there felt so peaceful and the massage I received was also amazing. Just perfect after all the wear and tear on my body from Kilimanjaro. I can't recommend this place enough if sheer elegance with a calm, familial vibe is your style. You won't regret it. Thanks to the entire staff of this wonderful lodge!!!!

After staying at some nice but “rustic “ camps, this was such a treat. We stayed 3 nights. Each day when we returned we were greeted with cool towels and hibiscus tea. The staff was genuinely interested in our day as well as ensuring our stay was perfect. We were in the Monkey room which had a huge sitting room, bedroom, bathroom and veranda. This was perfect. In the lounge relaxing with a drink, popcorn and nuts (which they will continue to refill!!) after a long day’s safari or before dinner is so relaxing. The food and service were excellent. TIP: Only issue we found was with the picnic lunch. They have a hot meal selection however they don’t pack the food in a container to keep the food hot. A cold veggie burger was not that great. Also every selection includes pasta and sauce and more. Would rather have had a sandwich. I would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone and return if given the opportunity.
