Top Tier Staff

All of the staff here were amazing and incredibly attentive. We came with a large group for our wedding. Many staff members made our stay very special. Jennifer and Juan Carlos from the wedding department made our special day perfect and they made it come together so easily. Oliver and Viví from the entertainment team made our pool days so much more fun and my group had a great time doing a salsa dancing lesson with them. Glever in the lobby bar was an amazing bartender and my party was excited to be served by him in the lobby each night. Every staff member knew our names and made our experience so amazing.

Love this place!! My fave Oliver and Vivi from entertainment team! Here for my daughter's wedding and we were all familia from the minute we walked in. Oliver and Vivi did our pool exercise, salsa lessons, beach volleyball and they are total rockstars!!

Nice Resort, Friendly Staff

Went with my family for a relaxing week in paradise, we found a good deal on this resort and we had a nice time. The hotel is definitely older and caters mostly to wedding parties. The main pool area is loud and crowded but a fun environment if that’s your thing. Miquel took great care of us by the pool. My twelve year olds had a lot of fun with Rosa and said everyone at the kids club were very nice. The resort was small enough they could roam free and enjoyed popping in and out of the kids club throughout the day. The food was not bad but not amazing. The whole resort felt like that, nothing was bad but nothing was really great either. The host and hostess at the buffet were always welcoming and Flor was a great attentive server. Housekeeping was hit or miss, mostly cleaning only one of our rooms in our family suite which was odd. The entertainment was very unimpressive and they only showed the Mexico World Cup game (which they did a great job of), no tvs in any bar to watch sports. Overall it was a nice vacation but next year I’ll probably pay more to stay at a more luxury property.

Wedding week was excellent

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We just got back from a wedding week with 54 friends & family and everything was great. Anabel was our wedding coordinator and she was fantastic in making our event very special. I heard from numerous people we were with talk about how great everything was that night. Rodolfo did a super job with the dance music at the reception. Oliver and the rest of the entertainment staff also kept things fun with sand VB and pool games. It was a memorable week for sure!

Nice wedding and trip

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

The grounds, pools, restaurants, and common areas were all very clean. About 95% of the staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. The resort was also very easy to navigate. A special shoutout to Enrique at the lobby bar—he provided excellent service. One tip for future guests: even a small tip goes a long way at resorts in Mexico and is greatly appreciated. There were a few drawbacks. The nightclub was closed on several nights during our stay, so don't count on it being open every evening. The daytime and nighttime entertainment was somewhat disappointing. It wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't a highlight of the trip and could be improved significantly. We appreciated not having to make restaurant reservations, although not all restaurants are open every night. Even so, we never had trouble getting a table, and our wait was never more than about 30 minutes. Another nice feature is that there are no towel cards to keep track of. The sargassum on the beach was quite heavy during our visit, but the staff worked hard every day to manage it as best they could. One thing to be aware of is that the lobby is not air-conditioned, so be prepared to sweat while spending time there in the evenings. Another thing that surprised us was the room layout. The rooms are very open concept. The shower and toilet areas have frosted glass doors, but the sink and vanity area are completely open to the room with no door separating them. Privacy is definitely limited. If you're traveling with family or a spouse, it may not be a big issue, but it could be uncomfortable for some guests. For example, if you're on a trip with someone you don't know well or are just starting to date, being able to hear and, to some extent, see someone using the restroom may be awkward. It's something potential guests should be aware of before booking. Overall, we had a great time and made wonderful memories celebrating our daughter's wedding. Just keep your expectations realistic. In my opinion, this is not a true 5-star resort. I wasn't expecting luxury at that level, but I was hoping for stronger entertainment options both during the day and at night.
