Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa

We came to find out about the quality of this hotel for future business purposes. We were completely amazed by their service! The food was really delicious and we really loved the people that took care of us: the manager Abraham, the waiter Abraham (same name!), the sommelier Hector and the chef Giovanni. Their care was really professional and very friendly. We highly recommend them to anyone! We went for a one-week trip to dreams Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morales in July2026. The resort is midsized which is perfect. We don't like mega resorts. The entire property was clean and well maintained. We had a first floor room with a pool. It was clean and fun to swim at night. The highlights of the trip were Erwin and the entertainment team. Also Ricardo, Antonio, Anazrosa and Israel were all excellent servers. We greatly appreciated Vidal and Jacqueline with check in and concierge services. The sand ay the beach was some of the softest I ever walked on. The only downside was the infinity pool was cloudy and the ocean had a lot of seaweed. The hotel cleaned up the seaweed daily.

Aging resort, still has nice service and a fine experience. They were doing construction on the elevator bay, but still booked us in the room right next door on the 5th floor. I wish they would have closed that portion of the resort instead of trying to fit construction in. We had a few members in the family who were ill and trying to rest during the day who needed to deal with the jack hammering. Also the beach was just unusable. The seaweed was smelly and unpleasant. There are beaches in Cancun that don't have the seaweed problem in July and I wish we would have found them. Finally, we were traveling with 25 people and booked our trip a year in advance. When we arrived, we found that none of our rooms were together or even remotely close. It was disappointing that the person whose birthday we were celebrating had the worst room with the worst view.

My sister and I visited the resort to celebrate her birthday. We had excellent experience and would like to recognize some of the of people that made our experience special. A special thank you to the following: Azucena and Enrique at the lobby bar, Jessica and Daniela at the Bali bed, Ignacio, Arseno, Lucy, Carlos, Mariel, Lora, Angeles at Seaside and Jose at Swing bar and Alejandro and Gerson at the swim up bar. July is a hot month in Mexico and there was a lot of seaweed, but the entertainment team kept our family having fun! Oliver, Vivian, Erwin, Yael, Jonathan and Francisco helped us make bracelets every morning, water aerobics, archery shooting, beach volleyball and pool volleyball plus a Spanish lesson and card games too! My daughters and I took the bicycle tour to Puerto Morelos with Jonathan and felt safe exploring the town. The evening shows were very entertaining and the food options were great. We really enjoyed ourselves! The only down side was the high pressure vacation club membership they want you to sign up for upon arrival. We had to be very direct in our not wanting this.
