Dreams Riviera is a beautiful facility!!!!! The Lobby is grand with a impressive walkway leading the way to explore the property. The beach was very nice, walkable and extremely clean. Our room was perfect: a spectacular pool/oceanfront view. The restaurants unique decor was delightful. Most menus were negotiable to your satisfaction 😀. The public restrooms in the lobby were gorgeous. Its obvious that the "ground team" takes pride in the upkeep and appearance of this picturesque property. The cleanliness of Dreams left a vivid and lasting impression as I reflect on our visit. It's unfortunate the "Preferred Club" concierge service team didn't embody the same pride or high standards. Most felt rushed, were unprofessional , unconcerned and just appeared "down right" non caring. Attention to "Small" details make happy loyal members. As UVC members we didn't feel welcome and I wondered if the Resort concierge and the VIP services even discuss our arrival 🤔. Did they miss the meeting ... "We're Members" 🤷🏽‍♀️. As a Unlimited Vacation Club member.... I was disappointed and wanted to speak with an AMReorts executives to share my initial guest experience about Dreams Riviera's "Preferred" concierge team. The Unlimited Vacation Club VIP services were just all smiles. No welcoming banner or champagne on arrival to our room. After speaking with one of our VIP concierge representatives their was an excuse. The banner never arrived; however, we received a beautiful fruit tray along with a bucket of chilled champagne/glasses on ice the following evening. Nice gesture but lost opportunity. -Our housekeeper efforts were not impressive. Just performed the basic; but the room was clean. -The minibar service was hit or missed even after selections were made known. -In room dining wonderful staff. -Carlos the facility operator was friendly, helpful and pleasant with every call. This being said our overall visit was enjoyable thanks to many of Dreams Riviera team members that provided outstanding services during our stay. Special thanks: *The Bellmen provided excellent Customer service with smiles on arrival, during and upon leaving the property: Antonio Solis, Angel and Ulises Coco's : Angelica (our "ice cream lady") we love her Barefoot grill/Coco : Charlie (Carlos) from England 😂😂😂. extremely friendly and entertaining *Sugar Reef Bar Bartender: William (Willie) excellent "Appleton Rum daiquiri" and a "great" dancer 😂 Beach service: Roberto Baak was a "gem" and we never had to look for him Beach concierge: Victor always smiling and providing outstanding service at "Preferred " area cabanas *Oceans Restaurant: :Liu (manager?) for her professionalism and wonderful service. Extremely attentive : Ignacio Tuk (server) happy and efficient: Lastly, as guest we write about our experiences with those we are engaged with during our stay and not those who make the magic happens on the late night/early morning shift while we sleep. I awakened before sunrise each morning to open my curtains to find people moving in the dark preparing the property for the day. I remain impress with the hardworking group of employees who maintained this property, prep/cook the food, launders, clean the pools, remove seaweed from the beach and place fresh rolled towel on the loungers to list a few. I was fortunate to meet several soft spoken young men who made the magic happen every day before we started our day. *Property Maintenance (grounds keepers) :Ismael, Santiago and Daniels Kudos to their Supervisor Miguel I loved the property and would definitely return. There are so many helpful and happy employees. 😎

I just returned from an amazing week at Dreams Riviera Cancun and wanted to share my feedback while it's fresh in my mind. I've stayed at other Dreams (and other all-inclusive) properties in the past, so I knew what to expect for the most part. Here's a rundown of what I liked and didn't, in some cases: Staff/service. As with every other all-inclusive property I've visited, especially in Mexico, the staff goes out of its way to ensure you are having a flawless vacation. A few employees really stuck out as superstars to me. Charlie is hands down the most personable beach server (and maybe any server) on the property and should be teaching a customer service class for Dreams. He is amazing. I also really liked Diego at Portofino and Moises at World Cafe/beach service, who both went above and beyond with my young children. Lizbeth at the lobby bar was super friendly and went out of her way to help us. I didn't catch his name, but one of the men from the entertainment team made a huge impact on my boys as well -- so kind and great with kids. That being said, we did have a very unfortunate situation at Oceana I want to call out. We attempted to dine there one evening and from the very start got a dismissive vibe from an older gentleman server named Jesus. I wasn't sure at first if it was just his demeanor, but I watched as he interacted happily with guests around us -- those without kids, I should add -- but acted bothered at our every word. The final straw was when our main dishes came out and the shrimp was chalky and clearly "off." We actually left without eating, which I've never done. Unlike Jesus the manager was very accommodating and actually tracked us down at another restaurant to apologize, which we appreciated. We had wonderful experiences everywhere else! Food. My favorite by far was Portofino, where we actually dined twice. They were amazing with my little ones and brought them extra parmesan cheese and crunchy bread sticks (which the boys loved). El Patio was probably my second favorite. Amazing decor and the food/service was great. Seaside Grille and Himitsu were good but not super memorable. I didn't love the World Cafe but did get into a groove after a few days, learning that the Mexican dishes and coffee were the best options, along with the assorted cheeses. The Barefoot Grille was a great option for lunch during the day. LOVED the goat cheese and mushroom pizza and the chips/pico/guacamole. The Coco Cafe was great for an afternoon pick-me-up or ice cream. I recommend the banana split flavor! Entertainment. We didn't make it to all of the evening shows, but I was mostly impressed. The Light Show was probably the best, along with the Mexican fiesta for Independence Day. We enjoyed the live music in the lobby but it was so unbearably hot in the evenings. Love the ambience of the open-air lobby, but the air flow is lacking. There was a really fun kids animal show one night right outside the lobby and my boys loved it. Drinks. The servers were really great at suggesting non-alcoholic drinks for my kids, which I appreciated. They were super accommodating, bringing them banana smoothies, shirley temples -- really whatever they wanted. I preferred the Mudslides because many of the fruity drinks were super sweet. The house wines were fine and we didn't feel the need to order off menu. My husband mostly had beer or margaritas. Just be sure to ask for a specific tequila! Room. We did an oceanview room with two double beds and it was perfect. We ended up in building 2 and had a great view from the top floor. The plunge pools looked really nice, especially for those with little kids, although I was worried it might be a liability with a toddler. I might try it next time, once he's a little older. The ones in building 2 looked to be a little more shaded, which was nice. The rooms were a bit small but not a big deal. With little kids, I actually liked not having more space for them to get into :) Photos. We ended up arranging for the onsite photographer to capture family photos while we were there and it was the best decision ever. Perla was amazing! You can do a package or just pay per photo, which is what we did, and it was really reasonably priced. I totally recommend. They give you full rights to your digital images and the whole process only takes like 20-30 minutes. All in all, we had a great time -- aside from the bump at Oceana -- and would probably return to this property. I find the people in Mexico to be some of the kindest and hardest working in the world, which is why it is my favorite place to visit.

We went on vacation to Dreams Riviera Cancun and honestly had a great time. BEST experience was at Oceana Restaurant. We had the GREAT pleasure of meeting the manager, Liu and our waiter was Cristhian. Not only are they attentive, but on top of it!!!! They definitely made us feel at home and were just genuinely pleasant and good people. NO other staff at any other restaurant went above and beyond like these two!!!! I miss them already.

Great place for all ages. Fun entertainment. Good food. Wonderful beach and pool area. I didn't like being told I had $200 voucher to use at resort only to find out once there that they dictate how I could use it. I ended up not using it at all. I'd rather not have receive vouchers that to be deceived.

Amazing Hotel!!!! My only negative comment is that all the Dreams Resorts doesn't use a hand band to identify categories between the guest, because you are paying a higher category to get a better benefits in each area of the hotel but for the hotel all guest can get access to all areas except the Perrefed Club
