Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa

We stayed at this place last week. It was fantastic. I will start with the service. Maybe the best we have ever experienced. From check in, to restaurant staff, to pool waiters or preferred bars and beach bars, always exceeded our expectations. Isreal at the infinity pool was excellent! Angel in the Portofino Italian restaurant terrific and the buffet staff too were all so polite, courteous and helpful. Clearly the training at this resort is top notch. The restaurants were all good. Italian, Asian, Mexican and the Barefoot grill was very handy by the pool/beach. Seaside was excellent for preferred guests breakfast. The rooms were large, and while some reviews I had read said they were dated, we did not experience that at all. Large, cleaned daily, and anything we requested was taken care of promptly. The daily entertainment was non stop and always lots to do. Uzzi and Oliver made sure people had fun and things to do, yet they were not pushy if you preferred to just relax and watch. The only downside to our stay was the seaweed coming in which was not the resorts fault but did impact the access to the ocean which we really enjoy. They did clear it daily but there was too much to get ahead of it. So we spent more time at the infinity pool. The water beyond the seaweed was turquoise and beautiful for pictures. If you like snokelling I highly suggest taking a trip to do so. They offer tours from vendors on the beach. Saw turtles, rays, baracudda, even a nurse shark, not to mention thousands of great fish. We didnt have any kids with us but this place is very good for families with kids, but even the buffet at breakfast offered an adults only section or quiet area. If you are thinking about a great hotel that is on the smaller side, yet offers everything you need, this place is perfect.

My wife and I went to Dreams for a friends wedding and it was overall a really nice experience. Sometimes we worry about being a same sex couple but we didn’t worry once here. I think that the people who worked there that we came across absolutely sealed the deal. First day we came across Iracema in the world cafe. Fresh off a plane, rooms not quite ready and just needing to eat quick. I don’t think I’ve met a kinder and more sweet woman! A smiled always on her face, not because it has to, because she’s just an incredibly nice woman. We asked to be sat with her anytime we went in the week we were there because she truly went above and beyond. Yes we always leave a tip regardless of it being all inclusive. She deserves it!!! Now for the pool concierge. What an absolute amazing group. We came across Francisco and he took care of us immediately! Set us up with chairs, we always had drinks or just asked if we needed anything. There was also Antonio, Johnny and Erick. Each day we were poolside they were all smiling, giving us advice on where to go for excursions, what to try for food and just all around helpful, kind and made our vacation that much better. We made sure to tip each of them because amazing service deserves the thank you! This is our second dreams location we’ve been to and this locations service was incredible. They are known for weddings and from what I gathered they do 1 or 2 weddings a day. They’re efficient with making your vacation still feel like a vacation with making the weddings still feel magical

It was an incredible time. The environment was great and relaxing. Service was top notch. Entertainment was amazing, especially Uzzy! He was awesome and made sure to include us in the fun events!

We loved our experience at Dreams Riviera. It was beautiful and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. One big highlight was how much our children enjoyed the Explorer’s Club. The staff there were so kind to them. It really added value to our trip to be able to have some time off from parenting. We were disappointed that the amount of sargassum on the beach made it almost impossible to play in the water, but it didn’t ruin our trip since there were plenty of other fun things to do at the resort.
