Reconsider booking this venue for weddings!! I was a bridesmaid for my sister in law. Our bride had constant issues, from failures to provide promised upgrades, to being denied a simple request of empty champagne flutes to toast with the bridal party. Our groom’s promised room was one of the smaller ones and the grooms party didn’t even have the space to get dressed (they had to use mine and my husband’s suite). When we tried to order room service for the bridal party while we were getting ready, they told us that it couldn’t be done because it was too big of an order. Mind you it was just a lunch order for seven people, i.e. the members of the bridal party. Because of this, the bridesmaids had to go back to their own rooms in order their own lunches that would then only be delivered to their corresponding rooms. Even doing all of this the food did not come for an hour and a half. When they finally delivered the food, the bride asked if they could please bring up some honey mustard for her chicken and the person who delivered it said that he could only bring it if the kitchen tells him to bring it. We also made a request for straws for four hours and they were never brought to us. Also directly after the ceremony, which was done right on the main steps of the lobby, there was no one there to cut off access. Therefore, while we were getting our photos directly after the ceremony, there were several times that other people were walking down the steps or crossing over into our shots, even though we had reserved the space. Outside of the wedding, there were also problems with the preferred level. My husband and I upgraded to a suite to have more space for us two, and our daughter, and we were promised an exclusive private breakfast as well as a bottle of an alcohol of our choice. We never got the bottle of alcohol (I actually requested for it to come earlier in the day because I wanted it for the groomsmen. It was actually kind of funny that it never came at all!), and the supposed preferred member breakfast was actually way worse than the general public breakfast buffet (which I will admit was pretty good). Overall, staff helpfulness was mixed. Some of the staff were truly great people and super helpful while others seemed to be tied down to arbitrary rules that were not in the best interest of the guests— especially guests who had come specifically for a wedding. Again, I do not blame the staff at all, I truly believe that it is based on an institutional issue with rules that don’t make sense and are not service forward. For positives, I did find it very accommodating for kids. My daughter who is three had a great time.

We had a great time on spring break with family and friends. The customer service was great and the entertainment team was awesome. We enjoyed Miguel taking our family on the bike tour and making sure everyone had fun. Definitely a memorable spring break trip for 2026

Our stay at Dreams Riviera was unforgettable, and what truly made it special was the incredible staff who went above and beyond every single day. At the Mexican restaurant, Samuel took amazing care of us. His kindness and attention to detail stood out immediately. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it showed in every interaction with us. Carlos was also fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and made every meal feel welcoming and relaxed. Erick at the Seaside Grill delivered top-notch service with a great attitude. He made sure everything was perfect! Angel at the Italian restaurant was outstanding. He created such a warm and enjoyable dining experience for us, and his professionalism paired with a great personality made the evening memorable. The Preferred Lounge team, Michelle and Xavier, were exceptional. They made us feel truly valued and taken care of every time we stopped by. Their consistency and friendliness really elevated our experience. Daniel at the concierge and front desk was the person who made things happen behind the scenes. Whenever we had a question or needed help, he was there with solutions and a great attitude. And Manuel at the front desk deserves a big thank you as well. He even helped me fix an issue with our closet door quickly and without hassle, which says a lot about his willingness to help with anything. This team really made this trip special. Dreams Riviera is lucky to have such dedicated, genuine people making guests feel at home.
