Had a great time at this resort ! The rooms were clean and spacious. The maids did an amazing job every day cleaning our rooms and leaving us treats! You do wait a while for dinner reservations but every meal was worth the wait! Especially the mexican, italian and japanese! The main lobby bartender Clever was AMAZING!! Remembered all of names and drinks by the second day! Uzzy from the entertainment team went above and beyond everyday. Thank you to him for making our week extra special. Definitely recommend the bike tour into puerto morelos!!

Absolutely terrible resort. The rooms had many things broken, mold in vents/ hot tub. Staff was not helpful with benefits of our room or when asking for clarification. We had the presidential and no one told us about the cabana we had daily. We tried to change it to the pool and the concierge told us to find someone else to ask, who then sent us somehwere else. Food was usually cold or raw. Dinner took over 2.5 hours after sitting down at all restaurants except Oceana. Not many options, even regular ones such plain alfredo. Noise from weddings went late at night. The best food was probably the ham sandwiches in coco cafe.

Truly would not return. Everyone calls themselves a manager and does not work to resolve problems, instead they read off a policy book and give a cookie cutter response to every issue without tailoring it to the individual guest. One manager Edwin Perez, told me on multiple occasions that I would have to wait 3 hours for a resolution because his priority was the arriving guests and I’d have to wait. I am not paraphrasing, I am not over exaggerating. I speak both English and Spanish, so it wasn’t a translation issue either. Another manager Erick Flores also threatened to call security when we were wrongly charged on check out and stated we couldn’t leave until it was paid and next time to get things in writing. It was a terrible experience overall, and I would never return to this property. Also, the dining issue is terrible. The only place that requires a reservation never had openings over 4 nights. The other restaurants didn’t require reservations but had over an hour wait time. We had to eat at the buffet each night which was just repetitive, basic food. We were particularly disappointed with the Mexican restaurant as being in Mexico we expected higher quality Mexican food, but it was the same chips and pico/guac you get at the pool or tough meat; there was risotto on the menu on multiple occasions which just turned out to be regular rice. Drinks were watered down. I just expected more for the price I paid. And you should remember to pack long pants to gain entry to the restaurants because dressing well isn’t enough. A guest can enter their French restaurant wearing sneakers and sweats but dressed in a button up shirt, Bermudas and loafers aren’t good enough because your pants aren’t long. They definitely did not earn a return customer.

First impression was poor, honestly just felt like a number not a valued guest. Felt like everything was a money grab, and please don’t buy anything from the stores, paid $26 for a bag of Doritos for my kid. Rooms are outdated, uncomfortable beds and lumpy pillows, and there’s not really anywhere to unpack your clothes. Have to be up by 630am to get a pool chair, or pay extra for a nice cabana. The pool servers were awesome, as were the pool activities and evening entertainment. The food is meh at best. For the price we paid I expected at least a 4 star experience and it was not that.. very disappointed and would definitely not return.
