We have stayed at many all-inclusive’s, and rate dreams Riviera Cancun amongst the best! The grounds were impeccable and beautiful. Each and every staff member so kind and helpful and clearly enjoyed working there. The food is definitely exceptional, especially considering it was all inclusive. The entertainment team kept everyone on their feet and having a good time. We love taking their yoga, their cycling trip, the archery lessons and the fun midday games. In particular Ximena, Vivi and Marco were great! It is definitely a resort for weddings and families. We really enjoyed seeing all the happy couples and multigenerational vacationers.

-staff are excellent, site is lovely, -we disliked the booming music especially at night -my husband became ill after grouper at the Oceana and so we lost 36 hrs - infrastructure is aging - fan in one room required repair, AC in another room required repair and then broke the next night such that water streamed in our room and we needed to change room at 9 at night

This is our second trip to Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa and we really like it there. The atmosphere is relaxing and the people are very friendly. The resort is not really big, yet it is not very small. We enjoyed heading to the Rendezvous Bar before our meals. The bartender, Clever, is always wonderful. He is a lot of fun and makes it a point to remember everyone's names. Enrique works in the bar as well and is pretty awesome, too. The wait staff on the pool deck are very attentive. Victor and Isreal were wonderful. We also had spa services, which was very amazing. I highly recommend it. The hydrotherapy to start off the spa session feels very nice. The rooms are very nice and clean as well. The only downfall to the stay was the pressure by the concierge for us to visit another resort so they could try to sell us a membership to the Hyatt resorts. We did it last year and, when it came down to the end, we said no. We were told it was only going to take 90 minutes but that did not include the travel to the other resort and back. In all, it took 3 hours out of our sun time, although we did receive our spa treatment for attending. This year, on our first day at the resort, we were asked to tour a different resort from last year and we said no. Then, we ended up losing our room key card at the spa. When we went to get a new one, the lady that helped us get a new card ended up talking us into going for a tour. She was not taking no for an answer. She said she was in a competition with the others and that she would get an extra day off to spend with her baby. She offered to be our tour guide. So, we agreed to it on the condition that we were not going to be gone very long or pressured to buy something. We also wanted a guarantee that, when we wanted to return to our resort, they would let us go. It did not work out that way. Once they get you into the sales room, it's almost as if you are held captive and the more you say no, the more they try to make offers. They try to sell you things all the way up and through the checkout process. And, this time, we were gone 4 1/2 hours. The only positive to it was the $200 resort credit we received for attending, which we put towards a room upgrade for the last two nights we were there. So, unless you are prepared to purchase a membership, I would not go to one of the sales tours. Because, of course, you have to make your decision right then and there whether or not you want to purchase a membership.

Have to start with a shout out to Rubicel at the concierge desk. Amazing. Helpful, personable and remembered my name from meeting me on day one, until we left 7 days later. Our family felt very well taken care of by him. More so than by the gentlemen from UVC who introduced themselves as our personal concierges for our stay. We were a family of four staying in two attached rooms facing the courtyard. The rooms were very clean and both the mini fridge and the bathroom were well stocked. We couldn't connect to cast to the tv in one room, but the other room worked fine. The resort itself has a good range of restaurants, two pools plus a kids pool. A great resort for families with kids. All clean and not too crowded although I think the resort was full. Despite the lack of people in the pools, there were a lot of unoccupied, but "taken" deck chairs. Finding available chairs was a daily hassle. The grounds and the beach were kept very clean. Lots of staff at the ready any time we needed them. There were several weddings. They weren't too intrusive. I think some review complained about the noise. Music could often be heard up to around 11 but from our rooms, it wasn't too bad.
