Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa

This was the first all inclusive hotel my husband and I have ever experienced. We had a baby before heading back to the states and wanted to experience something that could potentially lessen the stress of new-parenthood. The location felt very secluded and safe. The view from our floor was stunning as it panned the entire flat landscape of the area. The atmosphere was very welcoming and approachable. Not intimidating. The cleanliness was apparent as staff was always cleaning and picking up the empty cups left around. I could pass by empty cups and return two minutes later to see they were already picked up. The entire staff at the heel were truly super kind and approachable. It didn’t matter whether they were the cleaning staff or the pool staff. The World Caffe staff were especially awesome. The manager, Mauricio greeted us every day by name and always made sure we and other patrons had everything within a minute of asking. Empty plates were always taken away before we returned to our table with either another plate or a drink. It truly was a fully magical experience. We absolutely loved the entire week we spent there and definitely plan to go back. Thank you!

Too long a story to even put on here ...but feel free to ask... been yo Mexico numerous times...but honestly in my opinion this wasnt a resort id recommend.... dont go! .... 'sandos caracol" resort or "grande at moon palace" has always left me leaving Mexico on a high...Dreams had me wanting to go home x

Great place to stay for families. There are plenty of dining options and the nightly entertainment was amazing. The staff was wonderful, many people to thank. Pedro the pool concierge. The beach servers Martin & Ricardo. The club servers Wilbert, Carlos & Xavier. And a huge thanks to Hernan for helping with a late checkout. The AC did not work well in our room for the first two nights; so the sleep was very uncomfortable (in the preferred club building). We visited the first week of January and although the ocean was somewhat calm, there is a lot of seaweed in sight. Unfortunately I was not able to take advantage of the water sports because of weather. Hopefully next time.

My wife and I spent 10 days at the Dreams Riviera Cancun resort (Jan 7-16, 2026) and we could not have been more happy with our choice to stay there. We have been to many all-inclusive resorts and this ranks right at the top. There are so many things we loved. The service was fantastic, probably the best we've ever had. It didn't matter where we were....one of the Ala-Cart restaurants or the Buffet.....Barracuda pool or beach service......Rendezvous or Desires bar... ..Coco Cafe. ...All of the staff were super friendly and seemed to really enjoy working at this Dreams resort. Rooms were fantastic, great beds and linens. Everything was clean and well maintained. Location is also a huge plus. Only about 20 minutes from the airport and it is located on a stretch of beach that allows you to walk for miles in either direction. The size of this resort is also a plus. Big enough to have plenty of dining choices and room around the pool the beach and the grounds, but also where you do not need a golf cart to get around. We also loved that you can sit by (or in the pool) have have great views of the ocean. It's really nice around the pool, that you do not need a card or give your room, number to get a towel. The staff puts them out on the chairs every morning. If you need a replacement or additional towel, that is no problem at all. Kudos to the entertainment staff. They have found a good balance of having enough to keep us entertained during the day without feeling overwhelmed or pressured into joining any activity if we did not want to. Disclaimer that we are not "foodies", but I can say that we really enjoyed all the meals we had....some of the best we've had at an all-inclusive. Getting into the ala-cart restaurants went well. We only had to wait for a table a couple of times and that wait was no more than 30 minutes. The Barefoot Grill by the pool is also fantastic. It's very nice to grab a quick tasty bite to eat instead of having to go into the buffet to get lunch. The 24 hour Coco Cafe is another great feature of Dreams Riviera. Anytime of the day (or night) you can get a fantastic coffee, cappuccino, expresso or light snack. All in all, we highly recommend this resort. They seemed to have thought out many of the "little" things that go a long way to making a vacation so enjoyable (like super easy to get bottled water). We will definitely plan another vacation at this and/or another Dreams resort.

The location is very beautiful. The atmosphere is amazing. Room cleaning service was great. Rooms were amazing. Value is worth it. Noise level is worth it. The Amenities were amazing. Gustavo and Santiago were amazing people. Especially Santiago on his service.
