Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa

Excellent family resort. We spent 5 days at Dreams with our family of 7. We have 5 kids- 4 teens and a 7 year old girl. Our little one enjoyed Explorers Club ( free of charge) and loved every second of it. Girls working there were amazing with littles, she got to climb a rock wall, did all kinds of fun crafts, like bracelet's, went to pool with all the kids, and did all kinds of fun stuff. She would have stayed there all day if she could. Spa- our premier club package came with complementary couples hydro massages. We also purchased couples massages and the whole experience was absolutely relaxing and amazing. And reasonably priced in my opinion. Also, while by the pool a spa lady approached me and asked if I would like a burn relief treatment. Clearly needed it…I was dying from heat so I was like sure! It was so refreshing and needed. She put jelly like calming lotion on me and cold towels over it. Felt like a milion bucks ( it was $20) ☺️. Pools- Our teens spent most days in a main pool playing games and whatever else the entertainment team had to offer, they had a blast and won prizes. Dad and I enjoyed endless pool for adults with swim up bar and little one splashed in a kids pool . We rent a cabana / Bali bed , that was very reasonably priced and came with a bottle of champagne or wine, your choice. Food- did not disappoint! There are buffet and several restaurants. Also, barefoot grill by the pools that serves burgers, fries, hot dogs and pizza during lunch hours. Also lounge for premier club. Couldn’t reserve hibachi table for some reason, but we absolutely enjoyed the Himitsu restaurant so much! The food, if you like Asian food, was Incredible and my husband sent compliments to the chef ! We loved it so much in fact we returned next day. We didn’t go to French restaurant, because it is for adult only, if you plan on going you must dress appropriately, long pants and all that. Buffet was fantastic with different themes daily ( Spanish, Italian etc). Drinks everywhere! We also most definitely took an adventage of the24 h room service 😊 for example since our flight was early, we ordered breakfast night before and it was delivered to us at 4 am , incredible. Also, remember, the stuff by the pool will take care of you and won’t let you stay hungry or thirsty! Entertainment- Every night there was some form of entertainment, like magic show, acrobats and so on. Fantastic. Live music in a lobby every evening. Games and fun by the pool, they have a dedicated entertainment team. Resort gets quiet around 10 pm I would say, so if you are a party animal you might be disappointed haha. Stuff- Stuff is incredible. So kind, polite and absolutely ready to help . However, they will try to sway you to do a quick 2 hour visit at the respect next door, we absolutely didn’t do it. They swear up and down it is not time share, idk because we politely decline the offer (300 that can be apply to spa or excursions, so if you don’t mind keep in mind you can get that discount). Also keep in mind that tips are greatly appreciated. We always make sure we have plenty of tip cash with us. Also tips are appreciated outside the resort, especially for drivers. Unfortunately, summer season is Alger season in Mexico so no blue water for us😔. However, we were determined to show kids blue crystal water so we did an excursion to Isla Mujeres. Oh boy, was that fun! We stopped to snorkel and swim in an ocean and explored island and spent time on a beach. Define to remember. Plenty of excursions to choose from! Accommodation- we had 2 conjoined rooms. They were spacious and beautiful. Each room had balcony with jacuzzi tub! Housekeeper cleaned daily. Very clean and smelled good. Overall fantastic stay! Wished for blue water, but for that we need to come back at our winter time ( win win) . My husband and I traveled to Mexico in February and water was blue. I definitely recommend the resort for a family stay!

We had an excellent stay at this resort and would highly recommend it. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to assist with anything we needed. My only disappointment was the unavailability of an early check-in, but the room was ready by 3 p.m. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the housekeeping team did an outstanding job throughout our stay. The food and beverage options were incredible, with multiple restaurants available onsite offering great variety and quality. The resort also offered excellent activities and entertainment options, which added even more enjoyment to the overall experience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would gladly return.

We ate in the Mexican Restaurant “El Patio” and had a fantastic time. Our waiter Walter provided a fantastic service and got Chef Eddy to visit our table, my husband asked whether the had “Chicharrón de Queso” and even though it wasn’t on the menu the Chef prepared it for us. It was a fantastic experience and we can’t thank Chef Eddy and Walter enough. It’s small things like this that make a vacation memorable

Our waiter esequiel was the best waiter we have ever have serve us he was very nice and had amazing service we were at the seaside grill and he really made the whole experience way better.

Hector was fantastic! The food was beautifully presented, and the service was excellent.
