Good place for families with young kids.

We enjoyed our family trip with our three kids, their spouses, and eight grandchildren. The resort is smaller than others we've been too, but that was a plus as it made it easier to keep up with the kids. Activities at the pool and beach were fun. The pool attendants were very good. We would highly recommend getting a cabana. It was nice to get out of the sun for a while. Bring stickers or file folder labels to mark your room card. They all look alike and are very easy to get mixed up. The food was good, but not great. The Explorers Club was a big hit with our grandkids. Ruslam, the photographer, was very patient and we love our pictures. MSG was fun at the pool. The spa was very accommodating.

A very beautiful hotel with a 10+++ staff. Rooms spacious and well kept. Cleaned and turned down every night. The pools are very nice and the swim up bar was very good. Plenty of food and drink options so you'll never go hungry or thirsty. Pool staff available for all your needs and a very active activities group to keep you busy. Restaurants have something for everyone and nightly entertainment was very good. The beach is very nice and the staff is out there every morning keeping the seaweed off the beach.

Our stay at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa was exactly what a family vacation should be—relaxing, fun, and completely stress-free. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, but one person truly stood out: Mr. Erik Ramirez. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine kindness did not go unnoticed. The pool area was always running like a well-oiled machine thanks to his leadership. Whether it was ensuring guests were comfortable, keeping everything organized, or simply checking in with a smile, he consistently went above and beyond to make everyone’s experience exceptional. The resort itself offers the perfect balance of relaxation and entertainment. Beautiful grounds, excellent food options, spacious accommodations, and plenty of activities for both adults and children made it easy to enjoy every moment without ever feeling rushed. What impressed me most was how effortlessly everything seemed to run. Vacations can sometimes come with little frustrations, but here, everything felt seamless—and that starts with incredible staff members like Mr. Ramirez who clearly take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a resort where hospitality truly shines, Dreams Riviera Cancun delivers. We left with wonderful memories, feeling refreshed, and already talking about when we can return. Great Accessibility Review

My review has to do with the assistance I received regarding being in a wheelchair. The accessible room was perfect except that there was no grab bar in the toilet room. I went down to the Club Premier lobby and talk to Michelle to see if anything could be done like a room change or even install a grab bar. She made a few phone calls and everything started to roll in my favor. She said maintenance would be down to my room in about 15 minutes. I received a call from one of the team members. He said they were trying to find a room. Shortly thereafter, two members from the maintenance staff came to my room, grab bar in hand. Theyasked me where I wanted it and how I wanted it installed and within 20 minutes the whole issue was solved. This made my stay at the hotel much more successful than otherwise would have been. I’ve never had that kind of service anywhere States when it came to issues accessibility. The team worked hard, quickly, and with compassion and I can’t thank them enough.
