Hard Pass
This resort is very run down and under staffed. We went 2 days without A/C throughout the entire resort. Our room was 85 degrees with out air flow. The entire pool area had 2 waiters that served drinks maybe once an hour. The bars only had one bartender and we waited in line behind the servers and their trays of drinks before we were waited on. The water in the pool was dark green and you were unable to see your feet in waist deep water. It was gross.

Place is not as expected
The place is deteriorating. Maintenance of the place is mediocre. Friendliness and enthusiasm of staff is declining. Welcome gifts are decreasing in amount and value. Food quality is mediocre. Animal feces were in the grounds uncollected for days.

Phenomenal service
Esequiel from the himitsu restaurant was very attentive and went above and beyond as our server. Very accommodating and made our experience at the restaurant excellent. Definitely our favorite restaurant.

Wonderful resort
Beautiful and nice walkable resort! Had everything you need in a friendly atmosphere. Food and drinks were really delicious! We have stayed at other resorts that food was just fine … here it was food I would eat on a regular basis- fresh and flavorful! Service was wonderful- the staff really all went above and beyond! If you don’t find Ezekiel and have him make you some of his favorite drinks you’re truly missing out! Our only thing that we wish was different was the infinity pool/only one with swim up bar was adults only so we didn’t get to enjoy it as we had our kids with us. Would absolutely stay here again!
