Closed buffet, disappointment
Overall, the resort is very nice. The main issues we had was food for breakfast and lunch. The options were terrible because the main buffet was closed for renovations. The seaweed was extremely horrible while we were there and it seemed like they couldn’t clean it fast enough. The smell was unbearable. The dinners at all the restaurants were some of the greatest dinners I’ve had in a very long time. I am not 100% sure I would come back.

I had hopes for more
The location was great. The rooms were very nice very clean except we didn’t have any hot water for the whole time that we were here . Aside from that, I give this location to two; otherwise, it would’ve been a zero based on the food quality and the service. The taste and the quality of the food was not very good. They provided small portions and you had to ask for even the most basic things, like condiments. The food wasn’t worth the value. Both in taste and portions served. The service consistently seemed to be met with some resistance whenever asking for anything. For example, we go to a restaurant and ask for another seat for someone in our party that decided to come late. This seemed a huge inconvenience. I do not think this was a staff issue because the staff worked really hard. However it seems more like a management issue in that they don’t create a culture where excellence is pursued nor is it a priority. I would not recommend staying here to anyone else, especially for the amount of money that we paid and knowing that I could have gotten more for less.
