Entertainment Team Made Our Trip

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 7 hours ago

We had such an awesome time! The resort was beautiful. We have two girls, thirteen and seven, the entertainment team of Yael, Jonatan, Erwin, Karla, Uzzi, and Francisco made our trip special. These guys were great and were especially awesome with the kids and all of the activities. We highly recommend Dreams Riviera Cancún for all, especially families with children.

Amazing resort. Everyone was amazing. The food was fantastic. Patty at the kids club was fantastic. My daughter had an amazing time and so much fun. She loved going here every day. Will definitely be back to this resort.

NOT A 5-STAR HOTEL!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 hours ago

If you have booked this hotel and can cancel, I would cancel especially if you are travelling with kids. They market this as a 5-star resort on Cheap Caribbean and Apple Vacations; it is so far from it. 3-Star maybe! We were a family of 4 (16/10-year-old), we stayed for 5 nights/6 days. I picked this hotel because of location and also they marketed to have an onsite arcade for kids. They literally had 5 games and only 2 were working, needless to say my 10 year was disappointed. Also, the 'arcade' is open till 8pm, which makes no sense, don't you want the kids to be entertained at night? Our room was nice, and that is because I upgrade to the plunge pool, it was great location. Food: The food was terrible, one of the worst resort foods I have eaten. The buffet was basically recycled food; nothing was really fresh just warmed up. If it wasn't gone by one sitting, they would chop it up and serve for another sitting. At breakfast, only 1 omelet station, I waited 20 minutes to have an omelet, went to get bacon, I was told no more bacon at 8:30 in the morning! Lunch and dinner were the same, they would just place the food in different areas. If you wanted to go to the specialty restaurants, you had to be there as soon as they opened or else it was a good 1/1.5 hour wait time. The one night the Asian restaurant was closed for a private event, the steak house was close, the French restaurant (adults only), the only other 2 restaurants were 1.5 hour wait, so we opted to go to the buffet to eat the same food that was served at lunch. Housekeeping: The first 2 days, they never came in to clean the room, I called the 3rd day and they told me they would send someone and they came, the 4th day they didn't come and the 5th day they came. There was no turndown service. I did however get a knock at 10:00 at night for them to change the towels out and gave me 3 pieces of chocolate. But it wasn't just our room I hardly saw the cleaning cart. You could not go in the ocean because of all the seaweed, and they do try to control that. The staff was nice. But it was a disappointment, when you save your money to take your family on vacation and expect something awesome and then you are disappointed, its not fun!

What an amazing service-oriented place!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We came to find out about the quality of this hotel for future business purposes. We were completely amazed by their service! The food was really delicious and we really loved the people that took care of us: the manager Abraham, the waiter Abraham (same name!), the sommelier Hector and the chef Giovanni. Their care was really professional and very friendly. We highly recommend them to anyone! Sincerely, Craig Ferreira, owner and CEO and Lupita Ferreira, wife and CEO assistant of Survival Strategies Inc.

Excellent Family Trip

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We went for a one-week trip to dreams Riviera Cancun in Puerto Morales in July2026. The resort is midsized which is perfect. We don't like mega resorts. The entire property was clean and well maintained. We had a first floor room with a pool. It was clean and fun to swim at night. The highlights of the trip were Erwin and the entertainment team. Also Ricardo, Antonio, Anazrosa and Israel were all excellent servers. We greatly appreciated Vidal and Jacqueline with check in and concierge services. The sand ay the beach was some of the softest I ever walked on. The only downside was the infinity pool was cloudy and the ocean had a lot of seaweed. The hotel cleaned up the seaweed daily.
