Our stay at Dreams Riviera Cancún Resort & Spa was a very positive experience. We stayed here as a family and had a great time from the beginning to the end of our trip. The resort is well maintained, the pools and common areas are clean, and everything felt organized and taken care of. Our room was comfortable and bright, and the terrace with jacuzzi and small pool was a nice extra that we really enjoyed using in the evenings. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We never felt rushed and always received support whenever we needed something. Special thanks to Izzy from the entertainment team for being so friendly and engaging with guests. Bryan and Sergio from the bell service were always polite, quick, and helpful, especially with our luggage and recommendations. Our room was cleaned daily and kept in great condition thanks to Elena. Jessica helped us with our Teppanyaki reservation and made sure everything went smoothly, which we really appreciated. We also want to thank Edwin, the Manager on Duty, who surprised me on my birthday with a small cake and champagne. That was a thoughtful gesture and made our stay even more memorable. We enjoyed the food across the resort and found good options for both adults and children. The shows in the evening were entertaining, and the beach area was well organized with enough loungers and towels available. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future. We would recommend this resort to families looking for a relaxing vacation.

This is a disappointing experience in all most all aspects. Unless you’re a preferred club member of Hyatt this is not a very good experience. There are many parts of the resort that are exclusive to the preferred members, including restaurants, cabanas. They constantly run out of towels. there are not enough beach chairs or pool chairs for everyone to have one so unless you get up at 6 o’clock and go reserve one you won’t get a chair for the day. The restaurant lines can be a half hour to 45 minutes even when half the restaurant is empty. They either don’t have enough staff to handle the capacity or they’re trying to force people to eat at the buffet. They do have good activities during the day at the pool and in the evening, which is really nice and the staff is great. It’s just the management of the resort that needs an overhaul.

First off I just want to start by saying not to listen to the bad reviews here. I was here last week for my wedding and it was absolutely beautiful! The resort is gorgeous, the staff is so nice, the food is delicious, the rooms are nice and clean. As a wedding couple we were honestly treated like royalty! I just want to give a shout out to our wedding coordinator THALIA. She did a fantastic job coordinating the wedding i’ve always wanted! I also want to shout out all the ladies at the spa, what a beautiful place and atmosphere… so relaxing. I want to shout out VICTORIA from the spa who did my bridal hair and makeup she is super talented and a very interesting person to talk to. We will be back here for sure, the flora and fauna at this resort is gorgeous, there are some animals around but if you leave them alone they won’t bother you at all. The beach was as expected but still swam in it. Take a catamaran to Isla Majures for crystal clear water.

The food is terrible at this resort. After 6+ people got sick on our trip, we asked the workers about the food as well as the onsite doctor that had to administer an IV, and they all said that they don't even eat the food at the resort. My pregnant wife was sick for almost 3 days.
