Our family dream came true when we stayed at the Dreams Riviera Resort & Spa for six days of pure pleasure. Everyone at the resort went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The resort's comfort, cleanliness, friendliness, and dining were nothing short of fantastic. Our special thanks to BD Travel for arranging excursions that made our them worry-free. All of us learned a lot about Mexico and its rich culture. Would we return to Dreams Riviera Resort & Spa? You bet!

I booked a room with ocean view and all I can see are Palm trees, it's not worth it, you're better off booking a garden view and saving that money, when I called the front desk they had the nerve to tell me I was in fact in a room with ocean view, look at the pictures and judge yourself!

Overall the trip was great. Food and staff were very good. Room was very comfortable and the resort was for the most part very clean. My only complaint would be the pool with the swim up bar needed to be cleaned more often as there was often things floating in there. Also, the resort is rather small so if you don't mind kids, then you will be ok. Would have rather had an adult only pool as I got beamed in the head with a frisbee by a kid. Best restaurant was by far Bordeaux and Javier Morimoto was the best waiter for sure!! He made dinner there awesome!! Went twice it was so good!!

This was me and my wife's 4th trip to a UVC resort in the Cancun area, and the first trip with our 3 year old. Previously we've stayed at Secrets resorts (Silversands, Maroma, and Akumal). We had a great time at Dreams Riviera Cancun, but it obviously doesn't compare to Secrets resorts, especially if you are travelling without children. Pros: - Great Service - The Explorer Club for the children was awesome, they made our daughter feel welcome and she looked forward to spending time there every day - Great pool options for kids and adults Cons: - The food was hit or miss. Breakfast was good, and most of the dinner we had was AMAZING, however the lunch options were simply not good. - The resort is aging. We paid for an upgrade to a suite and the room had a few issues like a shower that didn't keep the same temperature, the refrigerator made a loud squealing noise all night, some of the finishes in the room were pretty old and disgusting, we had to call maintenance every night because the air conditioner wasn't keeping the room cool, etc. - The beach wasn't as great as other resorts we've been to in the area around the same time of the year. There was A LOT of coral that washed up on the shore every night and overall the beach just seemed a little dirty and unpleasant.

my family and two of our friends stayed here for a 10 day holiday. we had a fantastic time. The staff can't help you enough even the lovely ladies in the tea shop. the hotel was really clean, the food was amazing and it was lovely to have the choice to go to the different restaurants with no extra cost. our waiter Israil who served us our drinks around the pool was really good and knew our names and what we liked to drink by the first day. would highly recommend this hotel. Luis arranged a very special evening meal for us
