What great service edi was so helpful and services was over the top such an amazing hard worker I’m from canada and such different service here in Mexico culturally no comparison to Canada !!

Great resort, fabulous layout everything where it makes sense. Great food great drinks, although, highly watered down...probably for the best. Staff are absolutely wonderful; friendly and engaging with wonderful sense of humour and so much pride in themselves and their heritage. We felt comfortable and relaxed at all times, nothing was ever a problem or an effort. Coco Cafe was my favourite spot for great coffee and fun with the staff, Daily fresh doughnuts and tasty sandwiches were always in full supply. Staff are happy to discuss traditions and showcase their drinks and food; so interesting. Only negative part of the trip was the water. Pool and beach were great but the water off the beach was coffee brown all the time. Only place where it cleared up was over a 100m from shore and outside the swimming barrier where you were fodder for boat traffic. So no snorkelilng off shore or swimming really as the water was gross. You have to take a Hobycat or rent a boat / purchase an excursion if you want to enjoy clear water or reefs. Beware the catamaran snorkelling adventures; make sure all costs are up front and clear and expect to be snorkelling with 200 of your closest friends and plenty more watered down drinks. Overall fantastic resort. Magnificent staff, beautifully sculptured grounds with plenty of indigenous flora and fauna and great food everywhere!

Dreams Riviera Cancun! What a special place. My family travelled here last week and what a week we had! From the warmest welcome the second we arrived, the bell service was friendly and knowledgeable, our room was perfect and every spot of the resort was beautifully kept and cared for. Now the real stars of the week Edgar and Oliver and the rest of the entertainment staff. This is a great family friendly resort. There is always a variety of activities each day and the staff go above and beyond to encourage a fun safe environment for everyone. This resort is on the smaller side so my boys 9 & 11 could easily and safely go from the pool - beach- bar without needing assistance. The buffet was good and consistent and we really enjoyed the Japanese restaurant and the ocean front restaurant for dinner. The coco cafe has the best coconut ice cream and my husband loved being able to order espressos and cafe bar all week. Loved the yoga classes and especially enjoyed the garden space. Lastly, I can’t go without mentioning the arcade space, my boys had a blast there this week and the amazing women who works there fulltime is the absolute best. She so friendly and engaging with the guests, she truly helped make our experience above and beyond all week. We loved our time here and hope to be back soon!

Our stay at Dreams Riviera Cancún Resort & Spa was a very positive experience. We stayed here as a family and had a great time from the beginning to the end of our trip. The resort is well maintained, the pools and common areas are clean, and everything felt organized and taken care of. Our room was comfortable and bright, and the terrace with jacuzzi and small pool was a nice extra that we really enjoyed using in the evenings. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We never felt rushed and always received support whenever we needed something. Special thanks to Izzy from the entertainment team for being so friendly and engaging with guests. Bryan and Sergio from the bell service were always polite, quick, and helpful, especially with our luggage and recommendations. Our room was cleaned daily and kept in great condition thanks to Elena. Jessica helped us with our Teppanyaki reservation and made sure everything went smoothly, which we really appreciated. We also want to thank Edwin, the Manager on Duty, who surprised me on my birthday with a small cake and champagne. That was a thoughtful gesture and made our stay even more memorable. We enjoyed the food across the resort and found good options for both adults and children. The shows in the evening were entertaining, and the beach area was well organized with enough loungers and towels available. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future. We would recommend this resort to families looking for a relaxing vacation.

This is a disappointing experience in all most all aspects. Unless you’re a preferred club member of Hyatt this is not a very good experience. There are many parts of the resort that are exclusive to the preferred members, including restaurants, cabanas. They constantly run out of towels. there are not enough beach chairs or pool chairs for everyone to have one so unless you get up at 6 o’clock and go reserve one you won’t get a chair for the day. The restaurant lines can be a half hour to 45 minutes even when half the restaurant is empty. They either don’t have enough staff to handle the capacity or they’re trying to force people to eat at the buffet. They do have good activities during the day at the pool and in the evening, which is really nice and the staff is great. It’s just the management of the resort that needs an overhaul.
