Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa

Dreams Riviera was an amazing property! Went with my sisters to celebrate 3 of their birthdays and truly felt special. A few callouts to some who went above and beyond - Silvano at Portofino was a great host to us at his restaurant and helped us surprise our sister with a great dessert. Stephan at the concierge was also very helpful in helping us celebrate another sister's birthday. they all felt very special on their birthdays! Now of course if you are a beach person, they work really hard to rake up the seaweed, but it is there. We were able to get into the ocean 2 days when it was not that bad and it was tolerable - otherwise, it was a pool vacation! Pools are nice and the children's area is very nice and even though we did not have any kids with us, I would definitively feel comfortable bringing kids to this property. The one thing about the pools is the infinity pool has only cabanas by the edge of the pool and then rows of chairs behind them. If you want a pool view or to be close to the water, you have to rent a cabana for $250/day! Most days they were not even half full so seems to be a waste to have them there! Feel free to put your towels and items on the side and hang out there without paying the $250 fee for a cabana! Restaurants were all good except for the last day we were there! Tried to go to Seaside before we had to leave for the airport - said it was open at 7:30 am, but the hostess, even though all signs said 7:30, said it opened at 8am. So off we went to the preferred club for a quick bite to eat and some coffee ... believe it or not they said they were out of coffee and MAY get some tomorrow --- what the heck, no coffee! So being a problem solver, I walked to the buffet restaurant and got 4 coffees to go - obviously problem solving was not done very well at the preferred lounge! We did have issues with the UVC experience and all I will say is it was a very bad experience and took up a lot of our time all for nothing! Despite the bad, we loved the property and now know how to manage our way around this property and again it is a very nice, clean property and the people working are wonderful!!!!

Just had a massage at the spa with Nathali. She was wonderful! Good attention to detail, calm and professional. No strong selling upgrades. And she wiped the oil off of my feet at the end of the massage, so I wouldn’t slip in my sandals - very thoughtful.

Fantastic experience! Would definitely come back. Staff was super helpful and kind. The evening shows were fun and family friendly. The food was delicious. The fruit was so fresh and tasty and all the restaurants were great. It’s best to get there right when they open for dinner if you don’t want to wait. We used the kids club at various times throughout our stay and it was wonderful. Paty, and Rocio were both wonderful with the kids and they had a great time with them. This gave my wife and I a chance to have some adult time as well which was great

Beautiful resort. Super friendly and helpful staff. Our kids loved the Explorer Club and all its activities and the staff, especially Ms. Patty. Only thing kids didnt like was they couldn't go in the infinity pool or use thw swim-up bar in the infinity pool. Otherwise great time!

Fantastic family vacation spot. Excellent food for an all inclusive. We would come back for the entertainment staff alone. There was always something fun happening around the pool. Erwin on the entertainment team is a real gem. He kindly played games and entertained my young daughters, gave my wife and I a break. Funny, patient and engaging, thank you Erwin! The whole entertainment crew was amazing! Big thumbs up to Jonathan too! Armando in the bare foot grill deserves a shout out as well, warm, friendly and helpful. Honestly the entire staff here is amazing, great job peeps. One negative was the influx of high school spring breakers and their parents. The first few days of our trip was loud and hyperactive.
