Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa

We had a great trip with our family and friends. We were 4 adults and 3 children (9, 5, 4 years old). The resort was beautiful and clean. The main highlight was the staff in the restaurants and at the pool. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great trip. Of note- Gilberto at the buffet- 10/10, kind, funny, incredible with the kids and always ensured never an empty mimosa!!! At the pool: David, Israel and Ricardo. The most incredible service team, they were SO much fun and the kids loved them too. Full hats off to Pedro Cosco- the pool concierge. Pedro made sure we had a great week from day 1. He helped us lock down a Cabana bed for the week and took care of anything we needed. Not just a staff member but an incredible guy who works incredibly hard. He was patient and helpful. We looked forward to seeing him every day and catching up. The staff made us feel like we were welcome, safe and were willing to help with anything. The activity team (shout out Manuel!!!) were incredible. Our son Forrest had the time of his life and it was thanks to the incredible activity team. Spent my birthday week in the swim up pool, and my birthday day in the adult pool at a cabana. Great service by Vicente who went above and beyond to make it special!

The experience was awesome! I started with hydrotherapy and Sharon attended to me. She was sweet, kind and patient. I thoroughly enjoyed the session and it helped prepare me for my massage afterwards. My massage was awesome and Justina really worked out my tense muscles in my neck, shoulders and back.

Great experience and get away. While we did not have access to the beach water because of the abundance of seaweed, I was perfectly happy in the infinity pool and walking on the beach.

We’ve been having a wonderful stay at the resort overall. The service has been consistently excellent. Everyone is so polite, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. They’ve all been especially kind and attentive with our son, which has made such a difference to our experience as a family. Although most people here have been wonderful with us, there are a few who truly stood out for being absolutely amazing and for caring so much about our child, and that is something we genuinely value. The fact that they would say hi to him by name every day and spend time talking and playing with him made all the difference. He genuinely couldn’t wait to see them again every day. First and most importantly, Michelle from El Patio restaurant and Hector from the Sea Grill. They have officially become our son’s “best friends”! They were not only incredible with him, but their service towards us was also absolutely outstanding every single time. We also really appreciated Ximena and Jonathan from the entertainment team, who somehow managed to keep up with our child’s (and our) requests for painting sessions and my partner very serious complaints about archery tournaments he didn’t win! Their energy, patience, and kindness never went unnoticed. The evening entertainment has also been brilliant. Every single show was so well thought out and engaging. Our 2-year-old, who normally can’t stay still for more than five minutes, happily sat and watched for 45 minutes every single evening and still kept asking for more afterwards! I also wanted to give a special thank you to Sharon from the spa. I had the pleasure of doing a hydrotherapy session with her, and it was one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had in a long time. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and caring, and truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and looked after. As a parent, those moments of relaxation are rare, and I genuinely appreciated the care she showed me. Overall, we’ve had a fantastic experience. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained, and the people working here are what truly make this place feel special.
