The hotel is good base for other activities. Hotel feels a bit tired and food options are average for families, it can be difficult to get a table in the non-buffet restaurants for parties of more than 4 people. The staff were excellent including Vivianne and Jonathan in the entertainments team.

Change of plans from our planned Indian ocean trip but thoroughly enjoyed. We have been here for 10days now and are staying for a total of 12days. We cannot recommend the hotel enough. The staff go above and beyond, that goes for bar staff, entertainment staff, pool attendants, waiters and concierge. The food options are fantastic. The club perks have their benefits. Golden gem of a place is the cafe with the best coffee and snacks. One of the cleanest resorts we have been to. All restaurants have been fantastic. Huge shout out to Oliver always making the kids feel.welcome and showing them card tricks etc, Manuel for showing the girls bracelet making and being so friendly. The girls loved Erik and Johnathon, along with other staff memebers playing Loteria and bingo. Eldest daughter was penalty shoot out champion. Thanks to Vivi for sorting our daughters painting sessions. There is a lady walking up and down on the beach doing hair braiding average of 30$ we would highly recommend. The children enjoyed the spa sessions and the hydrotherapy was fantastic. If we could critique anything it would be the size of the beds in the room. A little on the small side. A little disappointing in terms of the seaweed but we still.used the beach and had a pool holiday instead of swimming in the sea. Something seasonal. Lots of weddings happening but didn't impact the service etc.

Clean and well presented resort, helpful staff, just don’t expect good food! We ate in every restaurant and without exception the food was just about edible at best.

If you aren’t here for a wedding, you’re going to hate staying here. This “resort” is solely focused on making money on weddings to the clear and unapologetic detriment of all other patrons. You can’t walk through the lobby, you can’t visit the beach, you’re limited to the bars, they dominate the pool area. As I writ this I’m not able to relax on my overpriced patio because all I hear is the boom of wedding music. As if the wedding BS wasn’t bad enough, the “resort” has invested in some of the most obnoxious carts money can buy. It isn’t possible to describe how loud these things are until you’ve been waken up by one at 6:00am, then every 10 minutes thereafter for the next 2 hours. Let’s get on to the “resort.” We stupidly paid extra for the plunge pool, which is really a cold plunge. It’s only tolerable if you’re in the direct sun, and even then only If you’re consumed enough of their watered down drinks to kill a water buffalo. The added bonus is that the location on the ground floor really amplifies the sound of the aforementioned carts It isn’t all bad, the “resort” is small enough that you can get around fairly easily. Honestly, the only real upside to staying here is it’s a 35 minute walk to Puerto Morelles, which is a cute beachside town. Seriously though, this place sucks. It really sucks bad. Spend your money and time somewhere that doesn’t suck.
