We waited a good while to check in as the process took a while then they finally offered us a drink. After traveling all morning that would have been nice to have when we got off the van. When we got to our room we had no towel, and that became an issue all week. The food was good, but the buffet area was very warm to eat at, as it has no air circulating. We tried to avoid it as much as possible. The food area was air conditioned but not the seating area. There was no information posted as to when Mexican vendors or buffets by the pool area where happening. I never found it on the web site. The web site was nice for telling you the menus. I personally do not like how perferred guest get to eat at special restaurants for breakfast or lunch. I just don't think it is a 5 star resort.

The resort and staff were amazing every day all week! Gabriella the Angel, Marco, Andres, Gumer, Abigail, Carmen, Victor, Angela, Felincio. Tony & Manuel entertainment crew. Cecilia front desk. However all staff members were amazing and always made eye contact and said hello. Food was amazing! Would love to return to this resort!

I cannot support for someone to stay at this resort due to our experience. I have a lot of examples but overall it was the attitude of complacency and lack of customer service throughout our stay. Of course there were some great staff but they were hindered by the others who treated guests like a general annoyance to our day, including the poolside bar staff. All of our concerns were shared with a manager, in writing, before we left the resort including one member in our group not having anything in their room to reflect paying for 'preferred/VIP', being far away for the rest of our group, having no shampoo, no snacks or alcohol and TV not working - nothing was done to assist him or make him feel "VIP", not even an apology or 'we will rectify that immediately'. Instead we were greeted with defensiveness and that we were an annoyance by staff in the VIP lounge. Additionally, after submitting this information to the VIP staff member, his room was not cleaned for 3 days, no towels - felt like he was being punished for speaking up to get what he paid for. We also had one of our dinner reservations canceled and then the staff accused us of canceling it ourselves! When our concerns that we presented were discussed we were offered an upgrade on our next booking, never happening. The so called 'Sports Bar' was annoyed by us wanting the Edmonton Oilers game played and was going to close the bar before the overtime period. They ended up keeping it open (goal scored in first 2 minutes and they could close) but were annoyed by this. To their credit they put up a projector for our large group to watch the next game but then turned it off when 2 minutes were left! We moved into the bar where the staff turned off the volume of the hockey game and turned up the music, again seemingly annoyed by our presence. There is no where to go after the bar closes at 11/midnight so people go to their suites in groups and then there on noise complaints. If you are a young person on a holiday you should know this! Another reviewer put is perfectly: "Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa fails to deliver an exceptional guest experience that celebrates local culture and community. Guests seeking a transformative and culturally enriching stay may find better alternatives that prioritize customer satisfaction and genuine hospitality. " There are a lot of great resorts in Cancun, I suggest you keep looking!

Eliseo, Alejandro, Carina, Gabriel and the rest of the team were amazing and the taco night was the best food we had the whole visit. Tacos Al pastor was delicious. The service was very attentive and they kept our drinks filled and the family entertained!

Great place, awesome service. We loved Karina, Gabriel, Alejandro, Eliseo and Rodrigo. Above and beyond for dinner. Had a great authentic Mexican Corn Experience and it was delicious. The Resort as a whole was awesome, clean, and lots of activities.
