Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

Went to Live Aqua in May for the 6th time (4th for my wife). Love it as much as always and sincerely hope to have a 7th visit. The hotel itself is great and the beach is perfect, but as always it's the staff that make Live Aqua special. Standouts who helped made our week great include: Hidden Garden: Eduardo + Luis. We didn't catch his name, but the chef was really nice coming out to chat with us. Also, I never would have ordered it myself, but he surprised us with the matcha cake which is incredible and is now one of my favorite items at the resort. Starbucks: Carlos Breakfast: Carlos, Jose, Daniel, Silvano and Nelci (who made the best omelettes!) Sea Corner: Marysol, Monica, and Freddy Beach servers: Roosevelt, Luisa, Cesar MB: Carlos, Yoselin, Daniel Varenna: Anatolio Spa: Nancy Aquarobics: Marco + Pablo

We had an incredible stay at Live Aqua Cancun. Every restaurant was top-notch, but the Italian restaurant stood out—so much that we dined there twice. Ricardo at Siete, and Mario and David at the Italian restaurant, provided exceptional service. MB was also fantastic—great filet mignon! Abel, our butler, was always attentive. The spa experience was a bonus, though be cautious with the pushy travel agency presentations. The WiFi was strong everywhere, and the pool and beach always had space. It truly felt like a 5-star experience. We’d definitely return—especially as a couple.

Our family stayed at Live Aqua Cancun to celebrate a birthday, and this trip gave us memories that we will cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty of the hotel. Everything was perfect—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, room service, delicious food, exciting activities, great entertainment, and an overall fun and relaxing atmosphere. It's always great to go back to our Cancun home. This hotel and the staff never disappoint. We have been coming to Cancun since 2001 and have been too many times to count. As a travel advisor, this is the place we come back to again and again. Between the hotel, staff, and food, it is hands down the best. One thing they could do is have better music at the swim up bar. There used to be a DJ each afternoon playing dance music and it was great. Even if it's not a DJ the music during the day could be more lively and fun. The music at the Moet party is a good example. The other pools can be reserved for those that want less lively music but there should be options. Marysol who served us a few days at our cabana at the swim up bar was always a delight and provides amazing service. If you get the cabana ask for Katrina when you get the foot massage, she's the best The bartenders at the swim up bar are great. Angeles in Siete is such a sweetheart and she is a great server. We enjoyed her and she was very attentive. Agusto from MB? Our butlers, Arturo and Alan were awesome. We've had Arturo before and Alan was new to us. They are a great pair We missed Maggie but she stopped by to say hi several times during our stay. Artuor and Alan are very attentive and provided great service. My husband likes heavy whipping cream for his coffee and they were great at making sure he had enough in the room for his coffee. I highly recommend asking for Arturo, Alan, and/or Maggie for butlers prior to arrival, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Arturo and Alan. See you next year. We upgraded to the Aqua Suite which we love because of the balcony. We enjoy spending time out there enjoying the view, relaxing and reading before dinner. I will say whoever is maintaining the shrubbery area on the balconies needs to do a better job. There are so many ugly weeds that need taken care of, it's really an eye sore for the amount of money you are paying to stay in those rooms. We enjoyed the entertainment staff and played bingo at 3 PM just about daily. What a fun team. Marco, Christopher and I think the other was Ricky were a blast. We enjoyed karaoke at night, the bar singer after dinner, the trivia game, etc. I never did win bingo but had a great time playing with the team and the guests
