Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

Live aqua was a very nice resort. Stayed there for 5 nights for my wife's 40th birthday. There were definitely some great things and there were some not so great things. Starting with the good: - The staff were all very pleasant. Rembered names and faces well, always helpful and fun. - The house entertainer RICKY RICARDO was absolutely awesome and 100% made the trip WAY more fun and energetic. He didn't let us pass him by without a handshake, hug, or warm greeting. He hosted most of the events from morning until late night. Honestly feel like the trip would have been much more mundane without him! - The street tacos were phenomenal and my favorite food there - The restaurants were great, they are set up more of a multi course experience than a quick dinner - The beach is AMAZING. It goes for miles and the water is gorgeous. There's also plenty of police/national guards patrolling and making it safe. - The pools are great and the Pool bar was hopping most of the trip! -Ttipping is optional but greatly appreciated, definitely helps with faster service when it's busy. - The staff wrote a sweet happy birthday message to my wife and decorated the room for her birthday. (I brought decorations and they put em up for a tip) - 24/7 room service and the late bar stays open until 1am or so. - Everythis is in US dollars - The breakfast buffet is amazing! The not so good: - Aside from the pool bar (and Ricky Ricardo), it's very quiet. Which means if youre a louder person, you can easily be the center of attention (not in a good way) - The lighting systems in the rooms are complicated for no reason. There is a central control system that shuts off the light switches and automatically opens the blinds when the door opens. (Not ideal if your partner is asleep) - The garden view balconies near the front back to the sewer system. You can definitely smell it. My father in law couldn't even open his door without letting it in. - Everything "closes" early. The pools are basically all shut down by 5ish. Technically you can swim but there wont be any chairs and youll definitely be the only one. The bar closes at 1am, which isnt bad but if youre looking to continue the party its in the rooms. The beach is a ghost town at night. The local scene: As I mentioned the area has plenty of police so venturing out is pretty safe. There is a mall across the street that's very easy to get to. Maybe a 3 minute walk. The gift shop there is far more reasonable the the vendors LA hosts. The vendors do haggle though, so state a price and stick to it. There's plenty of off resort night life, but it can get pricey fast. Overall a great stay and would do it again!

We requested Jose's area every day. We were fortunate to have been initially seated in his area. PHENOMENAL service. We attended for my son's wedding. Every day we had a varying size of breakfast guests at our table. He went out of his way every morning for us, remembered the smoothies we loved, remembered how we enjoyed our coffee, and we always felt very much appreciated to be at the Live Aqua Resort. This is the type of person, every employee should strive to be. Long Viva Jose!

This was our 12th visit to Live Aqua Cancun in November, and once again, it exceeded every expectation. We traveled as a group of three and stayed in the Presidential Suite—an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the service, hospitality, and genuine warmth made it feel like coming home. First, our deepest thanks to GM Mr. Santa Maria for his excellent leadership. This resort continues to shine because of the culture he has built. Thank you as well to Deivid, whose management of the rooms is outstanding, and to Jonathon, who is always a joy to see—his positive attitude, professionalism, and consistency are truly special. Aylin Olivares deserves her own spotlight. She is worth the cost of booking the resort on her own. Her customer service is unmatched anywhere we’ve traveled. She is attentive, thoughtful, and anticipates needs before we even express them. She is a shining example of top-tier hospitality and a true asset to Live Aqua. We were thrilled to have Chef Ernesto back. While the food has always been good, there had been a noticeable difference during his absence. Not anymore. With Ernesto’s return, every meal this trip was phenomenal. His talent, passion, and work ethic elevate the entire dining experience. He is kind, dedicated, and unbelievably skilled. We genuinely looked forward to every meal with him. Guillermo in the Aqua Club continues to be outstanding. His hospitality is unmatched and his drinks are expertly crafted. We especially look forward to Jazz Nights, which have become one of our favorite parts of the entire trip. We sincerely hope Live Aqua continues them—they truly add magic to the evenings. A huge thank you to Flavio, the pool and cabana manager as well as Miguel. They work incredibly hard, are pulled in so many directions, yet still manages to make us feel special and well cared for. Their effort and dedication do not go unnoticed, and we appreciate him immensely. Our poolside experience was elevated by the unforgettable service from Alejandra and Aminael. Their positive energy, constant attentiveness, and warm demeanor made every day by the pool even better. They are simply the best. We also want to recognize our butlers, Arturo and Romero. They were on top of absolutely everything—from filling the hot tub, to securing dinner reservations, to simply checking in to make sure our stay was perfect. Their support and attention to detail made our trip seamless and memorable. A special acknowledgment goes out to our morning servers Jose and Daniel at Siete. These two are absolute legends. Breakfast with them is one of the highlights of our trip, and honestly, we would return to Live Aqua just to start our mornings with their service and positivity. At MB, we must recognize Salvador, an incredible waiter who made our dining experience exceptional. We can’t wait to be served by him again. And of course, Chef Willian, who always takes extraordinary care of us and ensures our meals are unforgettable. For the spa, my wife and sister-in-law experienced several massages, and a few therapists stood far above the rest. A heartfelt thank you to Urbina (Lady), Heidi, Daisy, and Yamily. Their skill, professionalism, and care were exceptional—we will absolutely be requesting them again. Live Aqua truly is our second home. Every visit reminds us why we keep coming back, and why we’ll continue returning for years to come. We’re already looking forward to Trip #13 in February! Five stars, every time. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Live Aqua is the best. The service is always top notch. We always make sure we request Ruddy as our butler. He takes such good care of us every time. This trip we also got to meet Romero who is on it. From Jose in Siete to Jose on the grill, Damien, Flavio and Francisco at the pool hut, you cannot ask for better service. I can’t wait to go back.

This is our 3rd time to this beautiful resort and we will be planning another trip for next year! The service is a step above the staff is incredible. Ernesto and Stephany took care of us while there and if I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Their personalities are infectious and you can’t help but feel happy when around them! We looked forward to seeing Jose, David and Marco at Siete each morning! Daniel and hector in the Aqua Club were also always so welcoming! We keep coming back because the resort is beautiful, the food is great and the people make you feel so welcome!! The food & drink options were plentiful and we definitely never wanted for anything.
