Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

My family and I recently stayed at Live Aqua Cancun to celebrate our wedding anniversary and our daughter's college graduation. The resort is beautiful, but what we will remember most is the staff. The activities team was fantastic. Pablo was one of the first hosts we met, and he brought a ton of energy to every activity. He hosted our first pool bingo, which was a lot of fun, and later ran a Kahoot game where I played under the name "Ziggy Boi" and somehow finished in third place. He also hosted karaoke and kept everyone entertained while waiting for guests to sing. He even jumped in and sang himself. Maybe not American Idol material, but definitely entertaining! Ricky Ricardo was another favorite. Whether he was leading pool exercises, performing during Mexican bingo, or hosting the cultural dinner show, he always brought great energy. Christopher Robin taught us archery and hosted some of the pool activities. He made everything fun and easy to follow. Jocelyn, who is still in training, also did a great job. You could tell she was learning, but she was enthusiastic and worked hard. One of the highlights of our trip was meeting Executive Chef César Germain. He stopped by the pool to ask about our dining experiences and genuinely seemed interested in hearing honest feedback. As Asians, we mentioned that we thought some of the Asian dishes could be improved. He listened, asked questions, and appreciated our input. Later, he surprised both our room and the separate room where our daughters were staying with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. It was completely unexpected and a very thoughtful gesture. The champagne was excellent, too. We also enjoyed meeting members of his culinary team, including Chef Benjamin, Chef Nata, Chef Mario, and Maritza. There were many other employees who helped make our stay memorable. Rhobi at nB provided excellent service and made every dinner enjoyable. Axel made our omelets each morning and always greeted us with a smile. Fernando and Jose at Azur took great care of us at breakfast throughout our stay. Marco made the best smoothies we had all week and always seemed happy to be there. We also enjoyed activities with Alex during crafts and archery, and Daniel during yoga. Both were great. Before we arrived, the concierge team reached out after learning we were celebrating our anniversary and our daughter's graduation. When we got to our room, we found decorations and champagne waiting for us. It was a wonderful surprise and a great way to start the vacation. What stood out to us throughout the week was how many employees seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do. We never felt like just another room number. The staff made us feel welcome, and that is what made this trip so memorable. Thank you to everyone at Live Aqua who helped make our anniversary and family celebration so special. We had a wonderful time and would happily return.

Marco makes the BEST smoothies!!! He’s so nice and makes everyone’s day. Pablo also had the BEST energy during the activities and classes!!! Jocelyn, Alex, and Ricky were also awesome during other activities!! Everyone is so sweet!

Our stay at Live Aqua was nothing short of perfect! My husband and I celebrated a belated honeymoon and early anniversary in the Honeymoon suite. The room was clean and spacious. The turn down service made every night feel relaxing! Our butlers, Ruddy and Sakny, were so helpful and easy to contact. They reserved our Cabana at the pool or beach depending on what we asked for and made dinner reservations daily. They even picked us up a chess set from Walmart after we mentioned wishing we could take the one from the Aqua Club with us to the pool! The pool staff were excellent. Andres was hilarious and recommended the best drinks for us to try. The pools were pristine! Gerardo at the breakfast buffet was so attentive. Everyone was so friendly, and the food was amazing anywhere you went. Our personal favorites were MB, but the breakfast buffet was something we looked forward to every morning! Marco, Pablo, and Ricky were the best entertainment staff! They kept the pool lively, and the tequila tasting was so thoughtfully done. We learned a lot! We had the most memorable time and can’t wait to come back!
