Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

Edgar needs to find a new job - he is condescending and rude. We were NEVER told that there would be a charge for Carnivore. We were not told when the reservation was made, when we entered the building regardless what Raul says, nor did we receive the letter in our room. When I met Edgar in the lobby he told me "he would take it off the bill and the young lady that made the reservation would have to pay it". He then asked if I was happy that she would have to pay it. This was horrible. I told him that it was not right as a mistake is a mistake but if that's what he had to do. About 15 minutes later he came to my door and said that Raul said no he could not make the credit. I then asked to speak to Raul. He had him and Raul meet my family and I at the entrance to the Italian restaurant. In front of quite a crowd waiting for the Mexican event to start he and Raul basically called my entire family liars. I finally told him he had already ruined enough of my vacation and I was done talking to both of them. He then told me "another manager" had to approve so I said to send them to me. The "other" manager never showed up at the restaurant but at 9:00 I was told she would be at my room in 5 minutes. At 9:30 I texted we were going to bed. Never sure who was "in charge" as first it was Edgar, then Raul and then this "other manager". This bill was over $300 and I was the only one who at steak. The steak was good but not better than a $50-60 steak and certainly not over $300. We happened to run into another couple at the airport that has been at the resort 3/4 times. They said they had never been told by anyone on the staff but happened to talk to another resort guest who warned them it was an upcharge. They agreed that they stay at many resorts, like us, and have never been charged at any of the others. I will NEVER stay there again, What a horrible way to end a vacation. I had several people come up to me later that night as we walked around wanting to know what went on! Horrible way to look for your hotel. The food at the other included restaurants were mediocre at best. My husband will tell you the hot dog he got at the pool was the best food he had all week!

Just finished an incredibly relaxing week at Live Aqua. I have been to over twenty all inclusives and this is one of the best as far as service and food. There isn't a nightlife or big shows here but if you're looking for chill vibes at a gorgeous resort on a beautiful walkable wide beach ( there was some sargassum by the water in July) then you should book this. The room was modern and spacious. Exceeded expectations. 8th floor aqua club level king oceanfront. AC worked well and was needed! Drinks were excellent with top shelf ex. Grey Goose. Food at MB was fantastic. Italian was good. Mediterranean good. Mexican restaurant ironically poor quality ex rubbery octopus and served cold soup. Siena breakfast buffet is fabulous with fresh smoothies made by the happiest man in Mexico. Omelette station so great too. Thank you to our AMAZING butlers Viridiana and Stefany who made sure our every wish was granted to perfection. I said I love mangos and from that day forward every morning sliced mangos came with breakfast. Starbucks is included. What a bonus. Service with a smile EVERYWHERE. We will be back. thank you ! Our stay at Live Aqua Cancun was absolutely incredible from start to finish. There resort is beautiful,relaxing, and well maintained.Every employee we encounter was genuinely kind,welcoming,and attentive.Arturo and Alan went above and beyond to make sure we’re comfortable and enjoying our stay.highly recommended !we look forward to coming really soon

My boyfriend and I visited the resort for a long weekend, and we lived it all. It was a wonderful experience and we would return in a heartbeat! 💗
