Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

We went last year and I gave it a much higher rating. What changed? Dinner. Pretty awful. Do NOT order what they call "steaks" -- full of fat, cooked incorrectly, and just awful. (One exception is the filet mignon in the steak shouse - for which there is an upcharge!!!) The very good: (1) Our butlers, Viri and Arturo were terrific. We had some issues scheduing dinner times, but they fixed it. Also, while they checked in each day, they were not obtrusive. (2) The staff in general. Lovely people, always with a smile. (3) The oceanfront suite - gorgeous. (4) The location/pool/beach: Very good. Rght on the beach. (5) Around the pool. Thank God they did not have awful blasting rap music going! It wsa very low music - if there was any at all. Good choice. (5) Breakfast- excellent (6) Daniel our waiter in the breafast buffet. Fantastic. (7) Soa is nice The pretty good: (1) Gym was nice BUT why do they have BLASTING music going while you are trying to work out.! Also, no bikes! What??? (2) Lunch - lots of choices. Food is "OK" The bad - (1) Dinner - as I mentioned above, pretty awful. BUT, the Hidden Garden was good. (2) The bars - whoever designed this place has no idea how a bar set up should be. For example, check out the "seats" in Egos - bizarre. Also, the 5th floor bar has a bar but they do not use it. Instead, they send the poor waiter scuryying back and forth to this tiny pantry to fetch your drinks. They need a standard, Irish-pub type bar desperately. Terrible seating througout, werid layouts, etc

Live Aqua is the best all-inclusive resort in all of Mexico! It starts with the people, then the food, then the stunning ambience. The pride that all of the staff, from the housekeepers to management, is genuine and real. They treat you like family always. We especially love the BBQ masters, Jose & Porfi. They is not a better combination of poolside grill masters anywhere in the world! Concierge staff, Sofia and Carlo's welcome you home with a smile everytime. Carlos, the best barista in all of Mexico, welcomes you with open arms each and every single morning at the Starbucks Cafe. Guillermo, the Don of the Aqua Lounge, makes every day and drink special. Rodolpho, the MB restaurant Manager went above and beyond to make sure our meal and wine was exactly to our liking! Finally, the pool staff, Arturo, Flavio, Jesus, Francisco & Monica made everyday better then the last, helped my wife surprise me with the most amazing birthday by the pool. Do yourselves a favour and take anyone you love and treat them to Live Aqua Cancun.....you won't regret it!

My husband and I recently returned from our fourth stay at Live Aqua Cancun, traveling in early December with our children and some of their friends. Over the past few years, Live Aqua has truly become a second home for us—we visit Cancun twice a year, and it’s the people who keep us coming back. Maggie is an incredible butler and someone we now consider a friend. Monica’s poolside service is hands down the best we’ve ever experienced—we won’t sit anywhere she isn’t serving! She goes above and beyond every single day and makes everyone feel so welcome- she is also an adored friend. Flavio was amazing as well, ensuring we had cabanas and Bali beds close together so all nine of us could enjoy the pool area together. The food is consistently outstanding, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the ocean views are absolutely unbeatable. We genuinely adore the entire staff and can’t say enough good things about how well taken care of we feel every visit. We’re already counting down to our fifth stay in May! If you’re looking for a resort where you feel at home, are exceptionally well cared for, and enjoy incredible food—Live Aqua is it

Had a oceanfront Aqua club suite Isaias and Eladio were our butler's. They made all of our reservations for dinner for the evening and reservations for our day bed with messages each day didn't have to worry about a thing. They were AWESOME! Also we had Alejandra as our server by the pool and ocean. She's a sweetheart always asking if needed anything eat or drink. She is the BEST!

This was a family trip with 10 people. Really clean gorgeous property. The beach was perfect and we spent a lot of time in the water. All of the pools were clean and a great temperature. It never felt crowded. Shout out to our butlers Isaias and Eladio, Daniel and Guillermo in the aqua club, Ricky Ricardo for the water aerobics! Roosevelt by the pool! Rooms were very clean but dark. The club level and lounge were worth the upgrade. The beds by the pool overlooking the beach were also worth it. Our only complaint was food quality. We didn’t have a meal that we enjoyed. I know it’s difficult at an all inclusive, but we were hoping for better food. The drinks were very good. Very relaxing vibe and older crowd. We will be back.
