Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

We just returned from another wonderful trip. The service, as always, was fantastic. A special shout out to our favorite bartender, Guillermo, the always-smiling Marco making smoothies, Rohibi at MB, great butler service from Romero, pool service from Marco, and Daniel keeping the Aqua Club running smoothly and we loved seeing him at the Mexican dance show.

We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and paid for an ocean front suite. We were ushered in and our bags were taken and I asked if he was taking them to the room he nodded so I tipped him. He literally just carried them right inside the door and walked away. The check-in process took a long time - lots to confirm. Then we were ushered to go over 'the map' on the couches with someone else who basically tried to bilk us into attending a timeshare for a discount on a massage and a cabana. This should be publicly disclosed that this property wants you to buy into their hotel service portfolio. Additionally, we had to move rooms because the air conditioning wasn't working in our room. Then the next room's air conditioning wasn't working. We called to complain and I didn't feel like our complaints were taken seriously - nothing was done on the hotel's end to try and make up for what we experienced. I'm not talking 70 degrees. It was 78. We had issues sleeping. Housekeeping got very personal with our things- folding our underwear and I've never had housekeeping get that personal with my things before. It made me uncomfortable so we kept the do not disturb on for the rest of the trip. The scents were thick, powerful, and not airy and light as one would expect for a resort of this caliber. The food was excellent - the only thing it had going for it. Do not pay to go to Carnovore - the food was good but the prices were HIGHWAY ROBBERY. We will not be returning as we do not trust that maintenance issues have been resolved. On another note, the layout of the resort is highly confusing - multiple elevators and floors that don't fully connect.

Live Aqua Cancun is a beautiful resort with all the luxuries! Stephany and Carlos are exceptional butlers so be sure and request them! Flavio and his team provide a wonderful experience at the pool and be sure to dine at MB to experience Chef Willam’s amazing cuisine.

Live Aqua never disappoints!! Shout out to Manager Flavio Martinez, Butlers Stefany and Carlos made it not great but amazing!!! 🤩 every single day!!

I cannot sing enough praises to this resort. I haven't taken a vacation in 9 years so taking a vacation was a HUGE task and a BIG deal for me to leave. I originally booked 10 days at a different resort but it was awful, and supposed to be a five star resort and dining. And when I told them my issues they said there is nothing they will do for me. So in a rush, I had to get out of there and Live Aqua came highly recommended. And now I fully understand why! This resort SAVED my trip. And my thanks will never be enough. The food was top notch, the facility was super clean and there was always someone upkeeping the resort so it wasn't worn down. THE SERVICE!!! Every person you pass greets you with a smile and hello. There was never something they couldn't do for you. You asked and they delivered. They work so dang hard and still show up, day after day, like it's the best day they've ever had. And the ENTRAINMENT!!!! no words will ever describe this team. There is always something going on if you want something to do. Stretching or yoga in the morning, axe throwing, bracelet making, crafts you can make every day, facial classes, mezcal tastings, beach volley ball, water aerobics, pool bingo, cooking classes, salsa tastings, Mexican shows, mariachi bands, street Market, circus, karaoke, DJs, live singers!!! They do it all. And the hype and laughter and excitement they bring to each and every guest is remarkable. And STILL they come with the same high energy, happiness, joy, dancing, smiles and just pure HEART every. Freaking. Day. EVERY DAY! Sun up to past sun down. Busting their butts. Enough can never be said about this crew. Live Aqua is phenomenal. All around. It makes me tear up at how much this place has touched my heart and opened my eyes to so much in life. This facility and this crew is inspiring. They make me want to be better and do better. I'll never be able to make it back soon enough! But this turned the most awful vacation of my life, into one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. I WILL be back. There is no doubt. And I will be thinking about this place, these people, the food, the culture and the pure heart and joy they give often. Thank you thank you THANK YOU! I miss you already
