Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

We met many wonderful staff members. Saulo was one of our very favorite servers. He is so attentive and friendly.

We are currently staying at Live Aqua Cancun from June 12–17, and honestly, we don't want to leave. This is our second time visiting Live Aqua. The first time was nine years ago for our honeymoon, and we were excited to return. What surprised us most is that the resort is even better than we remembered. The service, food, rooms, and overall guest experience have all improved significantly, which is impressive for an already great resort. The customer service has been outstanding from everyone we have encountered. Every team member genuinely seems to care about making guests feel welcome and ensuring they have a memorable stay. A special mention goes to Varenna, which became our favorite restaurant. The food was consistently delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate requests and create a wonderful dining experience every time we visited. We were also very impressed with housekeeping. Our room was cleaned and refreshed multiple times throughout the day without us even requesting it. Coming back to a spotless room and a perfectly made bed was always a pleasant surprise. We would like to give a special thank you to the chefs who visited the pool area and took the time to personally ask guests for feedback. That level of attention is rare and truly appreciated. They listened to our comments, engaged with us, and even surprised us with our favorite wine from the resort—the house Chilean Chardonnay, Karkú. Those personal touches made our stay extra special. The resort also deserves credit for the effort they make to keep the beach clean despite the seaweed challenges that affect the region. It is clear that the staff works hard every day to maintain the beach and grounds. The entertainment team has been fantastic as well. There are fun activities around the pool during the day and enjoyable live music and entertainment at night near the bar, creating a lively yet relaxing atmosphere. The only constructive feedback we would offer is regarding the pool cabanas. While we understand the premium cabanas are available for an additional fee, it was a bit disappointing to see that there are significantly more paid cabanas than complimentary umbrellas and loungers. At $120 per day, the cabanas are not something every guest wants to purchase, and during busy periods it can become difficult to find a complimentary shaded spot by the pool. We believe adding more complimentary umbrellas or balancing the ratio between paid and complimentary seating would further enhance the guest experience. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked another vacation for October at Fiesta Americana Coral Beach, a sister property, so we can bring our little ones and take advantage of the kids club. That said, Live Aqua will always have a special place in our hearts, and we absolutely plan to return. Thank you to the entire Live Aqua Cancun team for making this vacation unforgettable. We will gladly recommend this resort to our family and friends and look forward to coming back again. Thank you, Live Aqua Cancun—you exceeded our expectations.

My wife and I stayed at the Live Aqua resort in Cancún and it was truly amazing. Not only were the amenities awesome with what came with the suite. Things like a private lounge, free cabana reservations, and even a beyond helpful butler. Stephany booked reservations, was incredibly friendly and knew us by name, and even made the moments a little extra special for what we were celebrating. Our room was also a very quiet area which was nice. Always had a clean room to come back to whenever we were out, and overall loved the staff here always making it an easy and great time!

Live Aqua was beyond our expectations. We reserved the Tierra Suite on the 8th floor and everything from our check in, to room, the view and service was amazing. We were assigned 2 butlers. Arturo during the day and Alan during the evening. They both would check in with us first thing at the beginning of their shift to take care of anything that we needed. They would make all of our dinner reservations, cabana reservations, spa reservations and special requests such as champagne in our room and for dinner. Thank you so much Arturo and Alan for making us feel so welcome. We would also like to thank Ricky who presented a very informative tequila tasting at the hotel. It was a lot fun to say the least. We are definitely coming back and would love to reconnect with Arturo and Alan again.
