Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

Recently returned from my 12th trip here. Besides the excellent accommodations, food, ocean and beverages, the main thing that keeps us coming back is the PEOPLE. You will not meet a harder-working, more pleasant or accommodating team that the Live Aqua crew! Starts with Aldo before you even get there, who insures everything is covered for our arrival. On to the Aqua Club, where Daniel rules during the day & Guillermo in the evenings, treating everyone like family. Shout-out to the best butler/friends ever: Romero and Stephany, who go above and beyond and worked so hard for our group of 10 ladies. Flavio is the ABSOLUTE best in the pool area, and his entire staff (including Demien) excels at making the experience special. Don't miss Porfi at the hamburger stand; do those burgers taste even better because you can look out at paradise while enjoying them?!? All the pool servers are great, but I wanted to bring Alexandra home, Ali you are the warmest, most sweet person ever! Consistent quality across all areas of the resort will keep us coming back for years to come. Well done with the work culture, Alfredo Santamaria!

I booked Live Aqua Cancun for a two-night stay to celebrate my 40th birthday. Being pregnant, I chose this property specifically because the reviews described it as a peaceful, relaxing, and luxurious experience. I also booked the room last minute, and it was very expensive, so my expectations were understandably high. The property itself is absolutely beautiful — the atmosphere, the service, the food, and the overall ambiance were truly amazing. The staff on site were kind, attentive, and professional, and the food was some of the best I’ve had in all my trips to Mexico. Unfortunately, I experienced a major issue with my room. The roof was leaking, and the bathroom felt outdated for a resort in this category. I contacted my butler, but was told it was too late and that they were not on property, so I needed to contact the front desk. The front desk then advised me I would need to wait until the next day. This resulted in a lot of back and forth over the course of both days, with no immediate resolution. After returning from my trip, I contacted the manager regarding compensation, given the cost of the stay and the room condition. The manager was not helpful — responses were delayed, and ultimately I was only offered one night instead of the two I requested. Communication eventually stopped altogether, which was extremely disappointing. While the resort is stunning and the staff and food were excellent, the way this situation was handled — especially by management — fell far below expectations for a luxury property. A special milestone trip should not end with this level of frustration.

Beautiful resort… Everything reviews say & More… The service is second to NONE… I wish I could remember every name of every server… But at the beach/pool Edouard was so helpful, fabulous, miguel at the pool hut, and Miguel and Marco bringing drinks and food all day poolside…Siete’s for breakfast… Everyone was so helpful and kind… Our favorite was Jose and Fernando-Jose knew my husband and my favorite coffee drinks in the morning. Our room butlers Isaias and Eladio-simply the best… They were amazing and made us feel so special and pampered. The highlight for us was a special dinner at MB- our favorite place hands-down for dinner… When they’re amazing chef William cooked a dinner just for us… We are very hard to please with food (unfortunately)… We are so spoiled being from Chicago with amazing food-but chef William wowed us completely! My husband said the salmon was the best he’s ever had in his life and he’s had a lot of delicious salmon! He also said the appetizer was the best he’s ever had. Bravo! Breakfast at Siete is beyond perfect- everything you could ever dream of ! After one trip to Live Aqua… we understand why people come to call this home away from home… Can’t wait until we get to come back and see all of our new friends in the most beautiful resort with fantastic views of the beach… Tons and tons of cabana… more than enough for everyone. .

Beautiful resort and beach, amazing food and drinks, attentive and friendly service!! We enjoyed every second of it and highly recommend!
