Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

My TA suggested this hotel to me. We normally stay in Akumal however, our return flight was very early so I wanted to stay closer to the airport. Our check in for the aqua club was not impressive. Compared to Secrets it was very slow, no welcome drink, and very few employees working in the club. Talking to others we found out it is always like this. Our room was nice and our butler made dinner reservations for us right away. Other than that we did not really know what we needed from our butlers. The pool service is fantastic overall. As soon as we walked to the pool we were offered towels and someone found our chairs to sit on and drinks were brought to us. Pool service was hit or miss some other days we were there. Andres was the absolute best our last day there. He had drinks in our hands before we even knew we needed one! The entertainment team is awesome. Christopher, Marco and Rikki did a great job with aerobics and bingo every day. Ariel at Azur was fabulous for breakfast and lunch each day. I believe Hidden Garden was my favorite restaurant overall. The selection was great and I loved all the courses I ate. I walked the beach every day and the seaweed is hit or miss depending on the day. There was only 1 show outside when we were there. We only saw some of it due to being at dinner. Other than that, there is limited night life here. We liked to sit in the aqua club at night outside and watch Cancun! The best part is all the people we met here. Many have been to this resort over 15 times. We learned that the chair massages are included for everyone and are amazing. Overall this was a solid choice for us and I would return when we need to stay closer to the airport.

We loved this resort. It was clean, service was friendly, food was delicious, and you can get party vibes or chill vibes. We loved Marco making smoothies in the mornings, Ruddy our butler service who made all of our reservations, and Artimido at the pool bar helping us get our party on. Everyone was so kinda, it was not too busy, and the perfect ocean views. We felt like the extra services we got with the aqua club was worth it. We meet many people who had been here multiple times. My only complaint is the beach/seaweed situation. Not the resorts fault, and they actually groom the beach wonderfully, but just be aware if you are wanting to play in the ocean (we didn’t get in).

Marco with smoothies is AMAZING! PABLO entertainment is great, too! RICARDO entertainment was great, too! YOGA man was INCREDIBLE. Naomi intern with entertainment is great!

Amazing experience! Best all inclusive I’ve been to. Food, atmosphere, service, and comfort were exceptional. A few shout outs: Pablo and Ricardo with entertainment, Marco with smoothies, and the yoga instructor. Marco has been here 12 years and is an expert is making the smoothie your body needs. Today, I ordered one for detox… so healthy and delicious!

This resort was full of amazing employees. Edward at the pool did an amazing job. He helped us set up chairs every day, brought me towels and came by regularly to check on myself and my husband. Miguel at the pool bar was attentive and even went to another location to pick up the alcohol I wanted when his bar was out. Alan who brought our bags to the room did an excellent job of giving us the information on the resort as it was our 1st time. The attendant at the aqua lounge were all amazing as was our butler Alan
