Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

This used to be our go to all inclusive. We go every year, sometimes twice, but on our trip this year (we’re still here), we’ve noticed some deterioration. First, Azur has started charging a premium for the New York steak when it was always free before, continuing the slippery slope of high premium extra charges for more and more items. Our Azur waiter at lunch, Oscar, was very unfriendly which ruined the experience. Not sure why he’s in such a bad mood but also don’t know why he’s assigned to a public facing job. The food at Varenna is still good but the service is glacially slow because there aren’t enough waiters. Budget cuts? It’s only our second day and it is a little disappointing so far but I’m hoping it will improve as the week goes on.

This was our first experience in Mexico and Live Aqua really made an impressionable impact. From the initial step foot inside the lobby we were greeted with welcoming arms. Our butlers, Viridiana and Arturo were so accommodating and prompt. They helped made our stay very comfortable and inviting. They were always accessible and met our needs. It was a calming atmosphere with beautiful views and always friendly and attentive staff. The ocean view was amazing!!! The food was amazing , never a complaint. Really enjoyed how clean the entire resort was. I would definitely come back!

My wife and I stayed at Live Aqua in August 2025 to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience was truly beyond our expectations. The resort offers an excellent selection of restaurants, but the breakfast buffet at Siete quickly became our favourite—it was consistently outstanding. What really set this stay apart, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating. My wife has dietary restrictions, and not once did she feel like she was missing out. The team takes dietary needs seriously and handled everything with care and confidence. When we had a small mix-up at Hidden Garden early in our stay, we were promptly connected with Belen, a manager overseeing several of the restaurants. She went above and beyond, personally arranging reservations for the remainder of our trip and ensuring everything was seamless. Through those reservations, we met Mario, who took exceptional care of us at Varenna for multiple lunches and dinners. He was also kind enough to spend time chatting with us at MB, which made the experience feel even more personal and memorable. On our final night, we decided to return to Hidden Garden, where we were warmly greeted by Belen and the head chef. Throughout our stay, our meals were often decorated with thoughtful anniversary touches, which made us feel genuinely celebrated. The bar has been set very high by Live Aqua, and we cannot wait to return. This was an unforgettable anniversary, and we would recommend this resort without hesitation.

We only stayed one night and I was blown away with the hotel, it’s facilities, the location, the service from the VIP team especially the private butlers Eladio & Isaias. Only had time for room service food which was amazing and we went to the spa after check out and had the best scrub then 4 hand massage. We did not have time to try the spa but saw it and I already know I will be returning back here in the very near future and next time I want to try the activities, restaurants and the gym. An amazing looking gym. We were literally there for less than 24 hours and left there feeling like a goddess. Thank you so much to Eladio & Isaias and the whole team at Aqua Live. Also the staff I had spoke to in that time, many had worked there for 7 years which is a very good sign. I really don’t think you can get this level of customer service without really looking after your staff. It’s a 100 percent - I will return - from us.
