Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

We ended up booking at Live Aqua literally at the last minute due to flight cancellations elsewhere in the Caribbean - we booked entirely based on a handful of pictures, price, all-inclusive, and all-adults. I don’t think we could have asked for a much better outcome. The property is beautiful, and there is decent space between this resort and the two adjacent ones so that we didn’t feel like everyone was on top of one another. The rooms were nice; it says a lot that the hotel uses Molton & Brown products and has high-end fixtures. Overall, it’s very classy. The beach and property are extremely clean. The location is about as convenient as you can imagine, to attractions throughout QR and to downtown Cancun. The food overall was good. We hadn’t realized that a primary concept of the hotel was food. The Asian restaurant, in particular, was very good. My only complaints, and they’re ridiculously minor: it was impossible to find ice cream, and they needed more chairs at the beach. It also would have been nice to have a reservation system for dinner dining. For instance, we tried repeatedly to go to the Italian restaurant, and it somehow never had space. Finally, there are two - I think unrelated - skidoo companies just next to the resort. Unfortunately, I almost got hit repeatedly by reckless and/or inexperienced riders who cut very close to the shore, and didn’t look for swimmers. If you’re a big ocean-swimmer, be very cautious

We absolutely loved our stay at live aqua! From the moment we arrived, everything felt elevated, relaxing and thoughtfully curated. The property is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful and luxurious and every detail is designed to make you feel truly pampered. The Butler service was hands down a standout and took our experience to another level. Having Viridiana and Arturo anticipate our needs, handle reservations and take care of every little detail made the entire stay completely stress-free. It felt personal, attentive and extremely thoughtful. Never intrusive. The butler service was the best feature overall. From making quick moment changes to reserving our cabanas ahead of time and anticipating other needs was amazing. We've stayed at other resorts with Butler service but it was never this accessible and attentive, thank you Viridiana and Arturo for making our stay unforgettable! You two would be the number one reason for us coming back.

Our time at Live Aqua was fantastic. The beach was clean and the water was beautiful - so many different shades of blue and green! Loved the pools. Our butlers, Maggie and Carlos, helped us with anything we needed and really made our stay special. The service overall was exceptional. Even the room service food was great! Highly recommend Live Aqua!

Our first time at Live Aqua and the resort did not disappoint. We loved every minute and loved all the staff members we encountered here. Each one made our anniversary celebration a memory we will not forget. We have been searching for a long time to find the "perfect" resort. I think we found the one we will call home. Thanks to everyone at LA, but especially our butlers, Eladio and Isaias,--the best butler team anywhere. These two are the best butlers we have ever encountered and we have stayed at many resorts. This was my second stay at Live Aqua in the past six months, and I’m happy to say it was just as exceptional as the first. My initial visit was during a slower season in Cancun, so I wondered whether the highly personal, high-touch service I experienced then would carry over during the busy holiday period. I’m pleased to report that it absolutely did. The service, food, and overall atmosphere were consistently outstanding throughout our stay. Live Aqua is ideal for travelers seeking a relaxed, laid-back vibe. While there are light daytime activities (such as music bingo) and a livelier pool with a swim-up bar, the resort’s true focus is on rest, relaxation, and unwinding. We stayed in the Tierra Suite, which was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully appointed with lovely amenities. The food across all restaurants was excellent, and it was especially refreshing to find an all-inclusive resort that offers several health-conscious options. The cocktails were also well crafted. Above all, the service once again stood out and is the reason we are repeat guests. Our butlers, Alex and Ernesto, were fantastic. Ernesto went above and beyond, seamlessly coordinating dinners, taxis, and countless small details throughout our stay. Our reservation specialist, Dey, has also been exceptional too. She has consistently secured great room rates and twice now has accommodated last-minute requests to extend our stay. A few additional service highlights worth recognizing: Siete (Breakfast) Ricardo: Incredibly kind and attentive, and graciously let me practice my Spanish with him. Jorge: Very attentive and professional. Valeria: A warm, friendly hostess who greeted us with a smile every morning. Cabana Reception and Attendants Lalo: A true superstar! He remembered us from last time and our preferred location at the beach. He always went above and beyond to ensure we had our preferred cabana and that our family’s cabanas were together. Demian: Extremely helpful and attentive. Additional thanks to Francisco, Andres, Monica, and Alejandra (Ale) for their consistently friendly and attentive cabana service throughout the week. Massages Mercedes, Urbina, and Yajaira: All delivered excellent massage experiences. The Grill (Lunch) Jose: Did a fantastic job at the grill. Santos: Provided great bar service during lunch. 5th Floor Lounge Guillermo: An outstanding bartender who somehow managed a very busy lounge on his own most days. We will absolutely be back again.
