Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

Porfis makes the best hamburgers. We heard about them on a YouTube video and they did not disappoint. You also have to try the amazing hotdogs! The fresh chipotle mayo he adds to both I think are the secret.

This was our 10th visit to LA and it did not disappoint! They always seem to welcome us with open arms! It was great seeing so many familiar faces that work so hard to make sure everything is perfect! The food was amazing as usual at all of our fave restaurants! We were fortunate to be here for their incredible NYE party and it was incredible- from the fireworks to the dancing to the menu- unbelievable! We are already planning our next trip and can’t wait to come back to our second home!!

I've lost count with how many times I have been to Live Aqua. This is a beautiful, all inclusive property with gorgeous views. What makes LA better than anywhere else are the people. We chose a suite that also included a butler. We were lucky to have Luis/Romero and Stephany who anticipated our every need! If you are out by the pool, Monica is amazing...loved having her as our server. Dont miss saying hi to Flavio...he is the epitome of what LA is all about. That infectious smile always brightens my day. At the towel hut, Maria is wonderful. And dont miss out on the hamburgers and hot dogs that Porfi is making each day...loved it! If you select a room with access to the Aqua Club you will be fortunate to start your day with Daniel and end your day with Guillermo. Everything about this place is magical! There's no where else in Cancun to even consider...Live Aqua is PARADISE!

We had a very good experience overall. The hotel and rooms are spotless, the staff are professional and efficient, and the service is excellent. The beach is absolutely stunning, the sunbeds are very comfortable, and most of the restaurants were very good—especially Azur, the Italian restaurant, and MB. The gym is also well equipped and enjoyable to use. I’m giving it four stars mainly because, while the spa is good, it wasn’t as refined or luxurious as I expected for a hotel at this level. The lobby could also be more elegant, and the fragrance used throughout the hotel was overwhelmingly strong. Additionally, although our room (1263) was spacious, clean, and comfortable, the view was disappointing. Instead of a garden view, we were facing air-conditioning units and the back of a restaurant, which didn’t match the price paid. Finally waiting 1.5 hours to eat in Mb restaurant is ridiculous. That said, we would absolutely return and would recommend the hotel. A big thank you to everyone who works there, and special thanks to Jose at the breakfast buffet and Edouard at the beach—they were truly wonderful and made a difference in our stay.
