Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

Live Aqua is absolutely one of the best hotels I have visited. I can honestly say this hotel is my home away from home and when I’m there I feel like I’m there with family from the moment we check in to the moment we leave we were treated like Royalty. Our butlers Viri and Stephany were AMAZING! I will definitely make sure to request them on our next visit! The executive Chef Cesar along with Chef Ernesto and one other that I unfortunately can not remember were absolutely AMAZING! They are one of the main reasons we continue to go back along with our our favorite bartenders Cresencio Freddy(really all the bartenders at the swim up bar and swing bar) and let’s not forget the waiters who have literally become like family to us! There’s Andre’s, Aminael, Marisol, and many others at the pool area. The cabana check-in area also has amazing staff! Flavio, Lalo, Marco and several others in that area always made our check-in at the cabanas go very smoothly and made sure that we had absolutely everything we needed! Also David, Mauricio at Siete and my buddy at the smoothie stand that always made sure I smiled! Live Aqua is TOP TIER!! Can’t wait till next year’s visit❤️

11 Visits and Counting… Live Aqua Isn’t Just a Resort, It’s Coming Home to Family! ❤️🌴🥂 Where do I even begin? After 11 incredible visits to Live Aqua Cancun, I can honestly say there is nowhere else in Cancun I would rather stay. When you arrive at Live Aqua, you’re not simply checking into a beautiful five-star luxury resort. You’re coming home to family. And that is something money simply cannot buy. There are so many gorgeous resorts in Cancun, but what makes Live Aqua truly extraordinary is something far more special than beautiful rooms, incredible food, and breathtaking views. It’s the people. The friendships we’ve made here over the years are priceless, and the love and hospitality we experience every single visit are why we keep coming back. I genuinely cannot imagine staying anywhere else. THE WARMEST WELCOME — OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME Our experience begins long before we even arrive, thanks to our beautiful friend Valery Villalobos. Valery is absolutely amazing and is always there to help us with our reservations, answer questions, and make sure everything is perfect before our arrival. No matter when I message her, she always makes time for us. She’s become so much more than someone who helps with our vacations. She’s a dear friend, and we absolutely adore her! One of our favorite things about arriving is checking in on the fifth floor at the Aqua Lounge, the resort’s beautiful private concierge lounge. With breathtaking views overlooking the turquoise Caribbean water and gorgeous pool area, there is truly no better way to begin your vacation. Being welcomed with a cocktail or glass of champagne while looking out at paradise immediately reminds us why we love this place so much. THE SUITE LIFE & INCREDIBLE BUTLER SERVICE We always book a suite, and if you’re considering one, I cannot recommend it enough! One of the best perks is the personalized butler service, along with an included cabana at either the pool or beach. We personally love the pool cabanas. They’re incredibly comfortable and beautifully prepared each day by the wonderful Pool Hut team. These are some of the sweetest, most hardworking, accommodating people you will ever meet! A very special thank-you to Flavio Martinez, the Pool Hut manager. Flavio is exceptional! He is constantly checking on guests, making sure everyone is comfortable, happy, and has everything they need. His kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care never go unnoticed. And then there are the butlers! Where do I even begin? This visit, we were fortunate enough to have Alex and Isaias, and they were absolutely wonderful! They were attentive, thoughtful, friendly, and always one step ahead of anything we might need. Your butlers communicate with you through WhatsApp, check in each morning, find you throughout the resort to make sure you’re enjoying your day, arrange dinner reservations, assist with anything you need in your room, and can even prepare a beautiful bubble bath for you in the evening! It’s those thoughtful little touches that make your vacation feel so luxurious and relaxing. And I want to emphasize that every butler we’ve ever had at Live Aqua has been outstanding. No matter who takes care of you, you can expect true five-star service delivered with genuine warmth. CELEBRATING OUR 15TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY This particular visit was especially meaningful because we were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. What touched our hearts most was how many staff members remembered our special occasion. Everywhere we went, someone was wishing us a happy anniversary, greeting us by name, or stopping to share a conversation. And that’s what I wish every traveler could understand about Live Aqua. You are never treated like just another room number. They remember you. They get to know you. They genuinely care about making your vacation memorable. Some of my favorite moments aren’t even the fancy dinners or beautiful views. They’re the conversations, the laughter, the hugs, and catching up with the wonderful people we’ve come to know and love over the years. THE FOOD — ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! Now let’s talk about the food, because Live Aqua truly shines in this department! The variety and quality are exceptional. From Italian and Mediterranean cuisine to authentic Mexican and Yucatán specialties, incredible steaks, fresh seafood, and delicious ceviches at the poolside Seafood Corner, there is something for everyone. One of my personal favorites is Hidden Garden, which serves a wonderful fusion of Indian and Thai-inspired cuisine. Absolutely delicious! During our seven-night stay, we visited every restaurant, and some more than once! What makes the dining experience even more special is the restaurant management and service teams. They remember you, greet you warmly, and go above and beyond to make every meal memorable. On several occasions, managers have arranged special chef-selected menus for us, where we simply sit back, relax, and enjoy course after course of beautifully prepared food. No need to even look at a menu! That level of personalized service is truly something special. AN UNFORGETTABLE ANNIVERSARY DINNER AT MB One of the highlights of our entire vacation was our anniversary dinner at MB. Executive Chef Willie and his incredible team prepared an absolutely unforgettable multicourse dinner for us. Every dish was beautifully presented, perfectly prepared, and absolutely delicious. And I cannot talk about MB without mentioning their famous habanero soup! If you visit Live Aqua, please do yourself a favor and try it! It’s a cult favorite for a reason. Served in a beautiful bread bowl, it is rich, creamy, full of flavor, and surprisingly not spicy. I’ve recommended it to so many people, and everyone falls in love with it! The entire MB team made our anniversary dinner feel so special, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and effort they put into making that evening unforgettable. CRISTIAN MARTINEZ — A VERY SPECIAL FRIEND AND AN INCREDIBLE HUMAN BEING I have to give a very special mention to someone who holds such a special place in our hearts, Cristian Martinez, the restaurant manager at Varenna, the Italian restaurant. Cristian is truly one of a kind. His attention to detail, kindness, professionalism, and the way he cares for his guests are extraordinary. He has such a beautiful heart, and you can genuinely feel how much pride he takes in creating memorable experiences for everyone around him. He’s also an incredibly talented artist! From his beautiful chocolate artwork on dessert plates to his amazing glass etching, his creativity is unbelievable. During our final dinner, Cristian surprised us with a handmade etched-glass plate featuring our portrait as an anniversary gift. I cannot even begin to describe how touched we were. The fact that he took his personal time and talent to create something so meaningful for us is something we will treasure forever. It wasn’t just a gift. It was a beautiful reminder of the friendships we’ve built at this resort. Cristian, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You are so much more than a restaurant manager to us. You are a wonderful friend, and we are so grateful to know you. ❤️ THE BEAUTIFUL TIERRA SUITE — OUR PERSONAL FAVORITE When it comes to accommodations, our absolute favorite is the Tierra Suite. The suite is gorgeous, spacious, and has stunning, unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea. Waking up to that beautiful turquoise water every morning never gets old! One feature we especially appreciate is the additional half bathroom. It may seem like a small detail, but when two people are getting ready for dinner, it makes a huge difference! All the suites we’ve experienced at Live Aqua have been beautiful, but the Tierra Suite has our hearts. Another feature we love is the in-room filtered water dispenser, providing both hot and cold drinking water. Every room also has a Nespresso machine, which I use religiously for my morning coffee! The resort takes great pride in its cleanliness, water filtration, and guest safety. From the beautifully maintained rooms to the restaurants, pool areas, and common spaces, everything is kept immaculate. You can truly see the pride that goes into maintaining this beautiful property. THE MAGIC BEHIND LIVE AQUA — ALFREDO SANTAMARIA I would be remiss if I didn’t recognize Alfredo Santamaria, the General Manager of Live Aqua. In my opinion, Alfredo is a huge part of the magic that makes this resort so special. You will often see him walking throughout the property, interacting with guests, and making sure everything is running beautifully. The level of hospitality, professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail demonstrated by his entire staff speaks volumes about his leadership. You simply cannot create this kind of atmosphere without someone who genuinely cares about both the guests and the people who work there. Alfredo, you have created something truly extraordinary. Your team doesn’t just provide exceptional service. They make people feel loved, appreciated, and welcomed into a family. That is a rare gift, and it is the reason we continue returning year after year. FUN, LAUGHTER & THE ONE AND ONLY RICKY RICARDO! One thing I love about Live Aqua is its atmosphere. It’s an adults-only resort with a more intimate, relaxing, upscale feel than some of the enormous mega-resorts in Cancun. Personally, I love that you can get anywhere on the property without walking forever! If you’re looking for a wild, nonstop party resort, this probably isn’t your place. But don’t mistake the relaxing atmosphere for a lack of fun! There is always something to enjoy, especially when Ricky Ricardo, the entertainment manager, is involved! Ricky is absolutely hysterical! Whether he’s hosting poolside bingo, casino games in the pool, or one of the resort’s special activities, he will have you laughing until your stomach hurts. We also participated in a mezcal tasting with Ricky during this visit, and it was such a fun experience! It was informative, entertaining, and filled with laughter. Ricky has such an infectious personality, and his energy adds so much joy to the resort. He makes everyone feel included, welcomed, and ready to have a great time. THE HARDEST PART OF LIVE AQUA IS SAYING GOODBYE After 11 visits, I can tell you without hesitation that the hardest part of every vacation is the day we have to leave. Not because we’re leaving a beautiful beach, a gorgeous suite, or incredible food, although we certainly miss all of those things! It’s because we’re saying goodbye to people we genuinely love. The hugs, the friendships, the laughter, the familiar faces, and the feeling of belonging are what make Live Aqua so different from anywhere else we’ve traveled. There are many places in the world where you can experience luxury. But there are very few places where you can experience luxury and feel like you’re surrounded by family. Live Aqua has given us so many beautiful memories over the years, and this 15th anniversary trip was one we will cherish forever. To Valery, Alfredo, Flavio, Alex, Isaias, Chef Willie, Cristian, Ricky, and every single wonderful person who makes Live Aqua what it is, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for the countless smiles, warm hugs, thoughtful surprises, incredible meals, unforgettable memories, and most importantly, your friendship. You have no idea how much you all mean to us. Eleven visits later, we still get emotional when it’s time to leave. And I think that says more about this resort than any five-star rating ever could. Had an amazing time with friends. The staff were very friendly!! I would like to make a special shout out to Marco the smoothie king, Oscar, and Ricky! They definitely stood out to me and my friends and made our experience a whole lot better!! This was our first time in Mexico and I am so happy we chose this resort! A mix of relaxation and fun! The resort was spotless 24/7!! The rooms were perfect, no complaints! Thank you Live Aqua! Hope to see you again!

A huge shout out to Roberto, our breakfast server, who started every morning off right. Monica, our cabana server, knew what we wanted before we could even ask. She is so incredibly hardworking and attentive. Marco at the smoothie bar brightened our days with his contagious smile, and Marco and Robin on the entertainment team kept the fun going. Truly, every employee we encountered was amazing. We also loved getting to know the other guests, which made the experience feel even more special. Live Aqua is a zen-like resort. We came to relax, and it delivered in every way. I can't wait until my next trip!
