I’ve been to this resort multiple times and it always delivers. Only improvement could be additional nightlight, but that’s negligible for everything else that they do at the resort. PORFI and Miguel at the pool were our two favorites but most of the employees make you feel like family

We just got back from an amazing week at Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun and overall had a really great experience. We upgraded to the Aqua Club level, and it was 100% worth it. Our butlers, Eladio and Maggie, truly made our stay. they were attentive, responsive, and went above and beyond to make everything seamless. Having that level of personalized service elevated the entire trip. The food was another highlight. The breakfast buffet was consistently delicious with a lot of variety, and most of the restaurants were excellent. The Italian restaurant was just okay compared to the others, but still decent. Service across the resort was top tier. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The vibe of the resort is definitely on the quieter side, with more of an older crowd. If you’re looking for a relaxing, peaceful getaway with no party scene, this is the perfect place. It’s ideal for unwinding, enjoying great service, and just disconnecting. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back if we’re looking for a calm, luxury escape.

We had a good stay at Live Aqua. The highlights of our trip were definitely the entertainment staff, who were amazing the entire stay. They were friendly, engaging, and really helped create a fun atmosphere around the resort. We especially loved the guacamole making class and the tequila tasting, which were some of our favorite experiences during the trip. Our room was very nice, spacious, and comfortable, which made the stay even better. The only issue we had with the room was that the light in the closet was broken and would never turn off, which was a little frustrating. All of the staff throughout the resort were very kind and helpful. Most of the staff were also very knowledgeable about celiac disease and gluten free dining, which was a huge plus for us. There were a good amount of gluten free options for both lunch and dinner, although the sushi bar was the one place where the gluten free knowledge seemed lacking, so wife ended up not eating there. The food was actually really good for an all inclusive resort, which we were pleasantly surprised by. The biggest disappointment was definitely the drinks. The frozen drinks were not bad, but the cocktails were honestly pretty terrible. We were especially disappointed that we could not find a good margarita at any bar or restaurant, which was surprising for a resort in Cancun. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a nice vacation, but improving the cocktails would make a huge difference.

Beautiful resort. Food quality could have been a lot better but other than that we would definitely stay here again!

First let me start off by saying that the purpose of my stay was purely R&R and this resort catered to that need greatly! This was a solo trip and I had no plans-took each day as it came. The positives: The facility is beautiful and sits on such a beautiful patch of sand. The beach was extremely clean. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. I was so grateful that everyone spoke English so well which helped me immensely. I will say to solo travelers -rent the beachside cabana! It was so worth having it for the day at $100. Plus a foot massage is included! There are waiters that take your drink orders and this is your reserved spot the entire day. However, if you go on the beach before 9am, you can get first come first serve even closer to the water. I did this the following day and it was amazing. Plus it temps were much cooler. The rooms are really nice and spacious. AC was freezing (which I loved), and my balcony view was everything. Nothing broke while I was here and anything I needed, staff was quick to accommodate. I didn’t hear my neighbors at all except when I went sit on the balcony which is expected. The food is very different from what we are used to in the states but very good. For example- Their chocolate cake is not US chocolate cake- not as sweet nor big portion which is good. Poolside there are chefs on grills cooking everything from ribs to chicken to burgers and tacos. The variety is great. Now the drinks were not alcoholic in my opinion. Very watered down. Unless you go straight to the bar and are specific in your order, don’t expect to get a buzz. The most invigorating was the spa! Beautiful, clean, great staff and the massage and facial were soooo relaxing! I love that I didn’t have to share the facilities with anyone. Unsure if it’s how they space out their appointments but I loved having the pools, showers, sauna and steam rooms to myself. This is a MUST! The negatives: be prepared for a sales pitch thru out your stay. They will capitalize on everything and try to sell you something be it an excursion, jewelry or a purse. Also if you order room service, please call them to pick it up and be prepared for them to come fast. They will randomly let themselves in. They also replenish the rooms twice a day and I’m unsure if they don’t hear me saying ‘hold on’ but they will try to come in. Luckily I had the top lock bolted. I yelled ‘coming’ and they proceeded to enter and I wasn’t properly dressed. Very invasive especially when I’m there to relax and the room was cleaned earlier. Against my better judgment I agreed to a ‘sales pitch’ thr next day. I was called everyday for the appointment. It was irritating and invasive although it was my fault. Just decline from the beginning bc they won’t stop. Wish List: I wish someone would’ve given me a tour of the grounds. I had to wander a bit (which was ok although I would’ve preferred not to). However, the concierge is a big help. Mid day was hot so wandering in the heat wasn’t really convenient. This isn’t a party resort nor would I recommend for 35 and under especially for fun/nightlife but there are activities and a DJ playing music near the various pools. Overall -professional, accommodating staff, beautiful ocean view and rooms are well stocked and beds are super comfortable and everything is clean. I got exactly what I came here for-Rest, peace and recharge.
