Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

Would highly recommend. The staff is excellent and everyone goes out of their way to make your visit exceed your expectations. From the time you walk in the door you can feel the difference. We realized a few days in that the staff friendliness and attitude rubs off on the guests. Everyone greets each other and is just in a good mood. (Hard not to be when sitting around a pool with unlimited drinks and food, I know). Marco at the smoothie station is great and makes an excellent drink. Wait staff is very friendly at all locations. We had a few small issues and everyone we dealt with really seemed to want to help us come up with a solution. If you are looking for constant entertainment this would not be the place for you. It has a laid back vibe. Very relaxing. One or two activities around the main pools all day. I stood out on our terrace at about 9:30 pm and noticed just how quiet it was. For our purposes that was great though. We did enjoy having drinks before and after dinner at the bars and getting to know other guests. Food is excellent. We ate at the Italian restaurant, room service and at MB twice for dinner. Take everyone’s advice and try the Habenero soup! You will not be disappointed. We had a butler with the Aqua club. While I can’t compare to other trips, that alone would not make me pay extra for the Aqua club. Our butler would make reservations for dinner for us. But did not do much more. We were a little disappointed that the special dinner we had planned for our anniversary somehow did not get communicated to the restaurant. But no big complaints. The club lounge is a nice alternative, with premium liquor and great service. Nice pre dinner drink/snack spot for sure. I would definitely recommend this resort without hesitation. We are hoping to come back soon ourselves!

Awesome resort but what put it over the top was the service, especially our butler Rudy. He went above and beyond to make our trip special and we look forward to requesting him our next trip.

Second time back at Live Aqua Cancun. I first went because a friend recommended it for great food. And, the second time, the food was equally excellent, and the service totally matched! From Marco at the breakfast smoothie station and Declan and Armando serving breakfast to Eduard and Miguel setting up our beach/pool chairs/beds in the morning to Andrés with constant drink and food service poolside to Luis (?, from Veracruz) and his amazing grilled ribs and chicken for lunch to Marybel serving us ceviche at the Sea Bar to Chef William and Julio at MB to el gran jefe Executive Chef Germaine, the staff at Live Aqua Cancun made our trip back a perfect week away. The staff makes it feel like any request is easy for them, and they make it happen. :) They put you at ease, and are so friendly with great stories! And, did I mention the food? I imagine it's hard to prepare consistently good food for such a large resort, but somehow Chef Germaine and his team do it! Looking forward to our next visit!

Aqua club was a pleasant relaxing place with lots of healthy small bites and snacks. Daniel was a great host. He was very welcoming and served us with a great coffee every morning.

We had a great experience! Our butlers, Arturo and Stephany assisted with every need - and made sure our week was extra special. They were excellent!! Omar, our consierge, added the final touches by helping us get our off-resort trips lined up. They all made our stay unforgettable! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurants was good. Shout out to Chef William and the restaurant manager at mb! On three separate occasions Chef made us an off-menu four-course meal that was absolutely spectacular and so delicious!! Service at the restaurants was also very good, especially Silvano at Siete for breakfast and Victor at Azur. The pool servers, Usiel and Monica, were both attentive, friendly and prompt. And the bartenders, Rosario and Damien, created cocktail masterpieces for us the entire week. I’m giving four stars instead of five because some of our guests ended up sick for the last two days of our trip.
