Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

Live Aqua was beyond our expectations. We reserved the Tierra Suite on the 8th floor and everything from our check in, to room, the view and service was amazing. We were assigned 2 butlers. Arturo during the day and Alan during the evening. They both would check in with us first thing at the beginning of their shift to take care of anything that we needed. They would make all of our dinner reservations, cabana reservations, spa reservations and special requests such as champagne in our room and for dinner. Thank you so much Arturo and Alan for making us feel so welcome. We would also like to thank Ricky who presented a very informative tequila tasting at the hotel. It was a lot fun to say the least. We are definitely coming back and would love to reconnect with Arturo and Alan again.

You will not regret booking here! My husband and I had never been to an all inclusive resort in Cancun or elsewhere, and we were worried that we would regret spending the money or end up not liking the food, or we might feel bored, but our entire trip we have been so satisfied with the service, the quality/taste of the food, and the vibes. I did a lot of research and Live Aqua had the best overall reviews and although some people complained about one thing or another I think it's just not possible to please everybody. Come with a smile on your face ready to enjoy your vacation, and Live Aqua will receive you with hospitality and warmth. Our favorite foods were the ceviches from the Sea Corner, and the breakfast chilaquiles from El Siete, and also the skirt steak and octopus from El Siete. MB restaurant was a great experience as well with live piano music playing as we dined. The singers were talented and gave great shows as well. Everyone is so friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed all the activities they had, like archery with Ricky ricardo and Marco, making bracelets with Pablo, yoga with Daniel. Also want to thank the friendly staff who checked us in- Aidee, and our Aqua club concierge staff Alex and Isaias. We did enjoy the exclusivity of going to the Aqua Club 5th floor lounge as well. We will recommend this place to all our friends and family! Oh and if you are worried about the sargassum- yes there was sargassum on the beach but some areas were clear enough to swim in. Unless you're planning on spending all your time in the ocean I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Service staff at Live Aqua was out of this world. We felt well taken care of and had all our questions answered. ViriDiana and Arturo were stellar in their communication and service as butlers. The resort was very clean and kept up. We gave 4 stars due to the food and entertainment being a little less than expected. Decent but not amazing.

We enjoyed our visit to Live Aqua but it did not live up to the expectations that all the reviews gave us. Food was good, loved the ambiance of the restaurants, and loved the overall chill vibe. The place wasn't as well maintained as we expected (tiles missing from the pool, flickering lightbulbs, huge smudges on the window in our room, etc.) and we were really unimpressed with how much there was that cost extra (including most of the seating around the pool). The service was really good, but nothing above anywhere else we've been. The butler service was incredibly disappointing and probably definitely impacted our overall experience. We saw each butler only once our whole stay and the other couple we traveled with didn't even meet one of the 2. We asked for a few simple things, such as more soda and other room amenities, and never received them. We only asked a few questions and the answers were always no (can we get paper menus) or we had to ask again after half a day went by (does there happen to be superglue anywhere because my flipflop broke). Our room didn't come with many things that we've seen other people post, so plan cautiously (like flip flops and various bathroom items). Overall, we had an enjoyable time, but would not go back.
