Eclectic rhythms and a lively atmosphere embrace guests as they arrive to Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun. This relaxing yet contemporary Adults Only, All-Inclusive luxury, a part of the Lifestyle collection of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, seems to have achieved the impossible: an upscale all-inclusive resort with a Cancun address that's low-key enough to be considered a wellness retreat. Bright, spacious rooms in shades of white and cream contrast with the turquoise of seaside infinity pools. Service is top-notch here, and ambient music from a resident DJ lends itself to a Zen mindset.

This was an amazing trip. I have been to the area at 4 different places and this is by far the best of them all. We would definitely go back, we felt pampered all week!

Eladio and Alan were great. They took excellent care of us the entire time we were there. They are one of the reasons we will definitely be coming back next year. The room was awesome and the food was excellent every place we ate with no wait time

I just got back from Live Aqua - I had really high expectations for this place, since there are so many great reviews for it. We were really disappointed in our stay. Before we could even check in, we were pulled aside for a HARD timeshare/room upgrade/Aqua Club sales push. We weren't interested in any of that. I've travelled to resorts like this before, and there are others that do this. We just booked the "basic" room that didn't come with all of these upgrades, and I was fine with that. They mention these Bali beds by the pool, but what they don't tell you is that the majority of the spots around the pool are these beds. If you don't upgrade (or pay another $80/day), you're going to have a really hard time - what's left is just a small section of loungers that get taken up by 8AM. It's absolutely insane to me that an "all inclusive" wants to charge you extra to lay by the pool. The pools are also very, very warm - it's like they're heated. That's why there were many more people sitting around the pool than actually in it during the 100 degree days we were there. Every person we met in the "poor folk" section of loungers in the back complained about how hard it was to find a space and how uncomfortable the pools were. Also we tried going to the magic show - when I asked if we could sit up front we were told it would be an upcharge. We just left.

My sister and I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Miguel at the pool during our stay at Live Aqua, and he was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we sat down, he made sure we were always taken care of. Miguel was so attentive, friendly, and professional—he made hanging out by the pool an even better experience. His service truly stood out and made our day by the pool memorable. Highly recommend sitting in Miguel’s section. The staff at Live Aqua was great!!

Yes, go ahead book this resort and get the Aqua suite. Comes with daily cabana use, foot massage for one, and butler service who checks in on you every morning and randomly through your stay to assist with anything from booking your transportation to the resort (48 hours prior arrival needed), cabana location, making reservations with your meals, and any other questions you may need help with. The balcony is everything. Drinks were good, better than most all inclusive resorts I’ve been to. Rooms were clean, staff was polite and attentive. Pool was nice. Beach view was gorgeous. We got lucky nd even saw some sea turtles on the beach at night. It was magical.
