Live Aqua Beach Resort Cancun

This resort was beyond spectacular, and I cannot recommend it enough! My daughter and I went for a high school grad celebration / college send off. The facilities are spotless and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, with great natural light + good lighting options (I love the zen light setting for getting started in the morning or winding down at night). The beds are firm, but extremely comfortable. We slept like babies! We were looking for something really calm, relaxing, and laid back. Live aqua delivered! There was plenty to do if you wanted, but also lots of quiet spaces. The pools are stunning, and the beach meticulously maintained. The ONLY complaint I would have is that the pools are very warm. But we traveled in July, so that has to be somewhat expected. The staff was beyond memorable-you can tell they all seem to genuinely like what they do, and care about their work. Special mentions have to be made about Marco at the smoothie bar-he's delightful, kind, and remembers everyone! He makes great recommendations based on how you want to feel, and is clearly passionate. Guillermo in the aqua club is the best bartender I've ever come across, and is so fun to talk to. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share. Alan and Arturo were our butlers. They are both kind, thoughtful, and determined to make sure you are having the best vacation possible. Both checked in with us a couple times a day to make sure all was well. I cannot wait to come back soon! It was truly an amazing experience.

Miguel and Alejandro are the bartender in A.K.A Bar, radiating warmth with their bright smiles. They are truly exceptional bartenders.

Went to Live Aqua in May for the 6th time (4th for my wife). Love it as much as always and sincerely hope to have a 7th visit. The hotel itself is great and the beach is perfect, but as always it's the staff that make Live Aqua special. Standouts who helped made our week great include: Hidden Garden: Eduardo + Luis. We didn't catch his name, but the chef was really nice coming out to chat with us. Also, I never would have ordered it myself, but he surprised us with the matcha cake which is incredible and is now one of my favorite items at the resort. Starbucks: Carlos Breakfast: Carlos, Jose, Daniel, Silvano and Nelci (who made the best omelettes!) Sea Corner: Marysol, Monica, and Freddy Beach servers: Roosevelt, Luisa, Cesar MB: Carlos, Yoselin, Daniel Varenna: Anatolio Spa: Nancy Aquarobics: Marco + Pablo

We had an incredible stay at Live Aqua Cancun. Every restaurant was top-notch, but the Italian restaurant stood out—so much that we dined there twice. Ricardo at Siete, and Mario and David at the Italian restaurant, provided exceptional service. MB was also fantastic—great filet mignon! Abel, our butler, was always attentive. The spa experience was a bonus, though be cautious with the pushy travel agency presentations. The WiFi was strong everywhere, and the pool and beach always had space. It truly felt like a 5-star experience. We’d definitely return—especially as a couple.

Our family stayed at Live Aqua Cancun to celebrate a birthday, and this trip gave us memories that we will cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beauty of the hotel. Everything was perfect—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, room service, delicious food, exciting activities, great entertainment, and an overall fun and relaxing atmosphere.
