Reviews for Live Aqua Cancun All Inclusive Adults Only
We had an amazing time at Live Aqua. The rooms are beautiful and they truly match the pictures on the website. They are clean and fully stocked with everything that you would need. The restaurants and buffet were so good and we always left satisfied but we also appreciated the room service when we wanted it and it always arrived hot and delicious. We have been to all inclusive resorts before but came back to the US and were craving our go-to meals but Live Aqua had everything that you could ask for. Make sure that you see Eric L. or Erick for any of your pool-side drink needs- these two are amazing and so quick and friendly. We had a lot of laughs with Eric L., he was so great! Thank you Eric!! Gabriela was lovely as the pool concierge and could answer any of your questions. If you have a suite and get a foot massage with your reservation, Elena and Andrea are fantastic professionals! All the ladies in the spa let us relax and were so customer focused. We were amazed at how kind all the employees were and this truly made our vacation amazing. Not to mention that I did not see one dirty uniform, frustrated employee or negative attitude....they truly are focused on excellent customer service and believe me it makes your vacation!!! We also want to mention that the drive to the airport is quick and easy (company was US Transfers I believe), making the travel days easy ones. We met several other people who were repeat visitors of Live Aqua which is also very telling. Thank you to everyone at Live Aqua for a great vacation and we will see you next time!

Booked a garden view room and it still had a view of the ocean so beautiful. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here did the all inclusive thing for the first time came to Cancun for our 12yr anniversary / 1year wedding anniversary, felt like VIP all through our stay. They made us feel so special whether it was coming back to our room with cute decor champagne and chocolates to eating at the restaurants and getting Happy anniversary desserts and sweets. Loved the cabanas and swing bar! To the nightly live music, and we had the best massages on the beach in the lil hut. Worthy every penny. Staff is amazing and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to have a relaxing time and no kids in sight. Make sure you order a sugar reef or electric lemonade so good on a hot day, for breakfast order a bottle of house champagne and mango and OJ to make ur mimosas.
I recently vacationed at LiveAqua for my Bachelorette party with 4 other girls. We had such an amazing time. Everything was great! The beach, pool and staff were all top knotch. Fernanda from the entertainment department made our trip unforgettable! She made sure we were having fun everyday! We can't wait to return for another girls trip!

We had such an amazing time at Live Aqua. From the beautiful rooms and hotel, to the amazing food, drinks and friendly staff- we will be back for sure! A few shout outs to bartenders ELI and CRESCENCIO, other staff that were super helpful: MOSES and CARLA. Everyone was so super friendly!!!!
Let me preface this review by saying that I travel alone often. It is really important that I never feel bad for being alone. I have very specific look fors in a resort, one being that the resort is social enough where guests are friendly, and staff makes you feel welcome as a "party of 1." Live Aqua fit the bill in both of these areas. The staff is exceptional from servers to bell hops. They are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They make an effort to know your name and always check in to make sure you are content. I also appreciated that whenever I went to one of the restaurants or the bars, no one asked why I was alone - they only needed to know to determine how many waters to bring to the table, lol. A special shoutout goes to Aile, my poolside server. She was my server two days in a row, and always made sure I had a cold drink next to me and a fresh bucket of cold waters. She took time to know me, and it was nice to chat with her during those two days. I also liked how this resort sets up servers so that you have the same one all day. I had a similar experience on the beach. I never caught the server's name, but he never let me run out of drinks and was happy to order them with my specifications. The facilities are pristine. Not a speck of dirt or dust - no smudges - even the sand was kept on the beach and not in the hotel. Restrooms were always being maintained, and someone was always sweeping. The essential oils diffused throughout the property are very calming, as is the lush greenery and soothing music. For my room, I was upgraded to an oceanview room as an Expedia VIP member, so that was a nice touch. The room was very comfortable, with two queen beds (linens are soft and plush!) a mini bar, balcony, and a bathroom with a separate shower and tub. The room was the perfect size for me - I don't spend much time in the room - but if you are more than one person, and looking for something a bit more spacious to hang out, you might want to upgrade to a suite. The food was very good. The buffet had everything, so it was a good choice for all meals. I did get to Hidden Garden, Azur and MB for dinners. All were very delicious and offered great service. I also enjoyed the poolside bbq for lunch each day - the chicken is delish! The coffee shop was very good. I did spring for the starbucks only because the cups of the included coffee were just so small and I didn't feel like holding four small coffees, lol. All the drinks were consistent. Some people have written reviews that drinks were watered down. I disagree. While they don't initially taste very strong, you can taste the alcohol, and a few drinks were enough to help me take a few good naps each day, =). The guests are very friendly and it was easy to chat with people. Most were couples or groups, and ranged from late 20s and up. I didn't do much after dinner as my days spent the sun are more than enough to make me happy. But there was a good crowd at the bar outside of MB from what I saw. The gym was fine. Nothing extraordinary - but enough to get the job done. Mostly treadmills and some ellipticals for cardio. Then there's a space with cables and yoga blocks. The back there are free weights - but only up to 55 lbs i think - and lifefitness weight machines for each body part. There's not much space to do HIIT, but I was able to set up a little spot to jump rope and do some plyo work. The best part is the gym is across from the coffee shop, so my mornings were perfect. The spa is amazing. Usually hotel spas are a hit or miss, this was a hit. The staff was very professional and the facilities included a steam room and jacuzzi. I got the fusion massage from Barbara - super strong hands! I also was able to take a shower in the spa after my check out since I had a late flight home. The beach and pool had a lot of seating. The pool was a little tricky from a solo traveler, since many of the chairs and beds that face the ocean are in clusters, but I was able to find a corner by the restroom which was perfectly comfortable. The beach seating is all linear, and well spaced out, so those spots were easy to find. I could go on and on. Live Aqua was a great experience and I will definitely return. If you have questions, please ask!
