Reviews for Dreams Sapphire Resort & Spa

Another Wonderful Family Vacay at Dreams!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 hours ago

We loved the Dreams Sapphire! It’s absolutely beautiful and laid out really well. We had room 318 on the ocean. It was a Family Suite and it was absolutely stunning! I was there teaching yoga for the week and I loved the entertainment staff!! Javi was so welcoming and kind. We loved hanging out at the swing bar with Marco. He’s the best!! There were tons of activities for the kids, the water slides were super fun, the daily buffet by the pool and inside were delicious! By the pool there was Tons of chips and guac, fresh meat, burgers pizzas, peel and eat, shrimp, muscles, fresh salads, etc. The food was really good at the resort. Also, if you can make it to the spa definitely go it was probably the most beautiful spa we’ve seen so far!! can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful venue for a wedding

All inclusive resort is a fabulous concept. All food, drinks and entertainment is included. Asian, French, Italian restaurants, as well as a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Huge pool with non-stop entertainment. Dancing, shows and activities every night. Rooms are spacious with mini-bar included. The beds are very comfortable. Small criticism is the price of essentials if you forget or run out of something. Sunscreen can cost US$50. A pack of 4 AA batteries set us back $27. A taxi to town is prohibitively expensive.

Relaxed week.

3 of us went on a girls trip and relax we did. It may be the later season but it was very quiet. There was never an issue getting beach/pool chairs, drinks were always great and cold! Food was outstanding!! Buffet and a la cartes. Evening shows were great but there wasn't much going on during the day as far as entertainment. Great spot to unwind and rest! No party vibes during our stay!

Return to Blissful Paradise

This is the return trip to the exact same resort. We loved it last year and it was wonderful to be back year. Simple observations: 1) We liked the Preferred Club pool, otherwise the upgrade for this option may not be worth it to you. It was really nice just have the adults there. 2) Beach is nice and they keep it up, but the seaweed is still invasive. It does not smell as bad as last year. 3) World Patio for breakfast has really expanded and the greater food options are a huge plus! 4) Our room was clean like last year. 5) I love the layout of this resort, there are not tall towers, more of a condominium feel. 6) The best reason this resort is a stellar deal: the service! So many wonderful people who make your vacation a beautiful experience. This is their greatest asset and it shows. Here we go: Moises and Sergio in World Patio, keep it up el hombres! Sergio at Bordeaux (great restaurant) was outstanding, Riselly (female server at the teppan table restaurant) was very kind, and Alejandro who helped with out bags and drove us to our room was the bomba! Israel (worked for the company for 12 years) called MTS to ensure our shared van was on time. Gracias senor! Had an amazing time with my wife and we are sad it will be some time until we return. Dreams Sapphire, you have a special place in our hearts, thank you!

Beautiful resort

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Food was fantastic. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, as well as friendly. Resort is beautiful but way finding was difficult, not enough directional signs. Unfortunately the odor of sewage was overbearing. The beach had way too much seaweed but apparently this is an issue all over mexico?
