We loved our stay at Paradisus. The spot on the beach right next to the Royal Service beach was perfect away from the crowds and no one ever placed any loungers in front of us so we had a perfect view of the indescribable blue water all week. Because of the severe lack of loungers on the beach in our section, all "reserved" by 8 am, some angry patrons were taking peoples' posessions off the lounger and stealing the lounger to use at another location. One last thing, after reading the reviews prior to our trip I knew to contact the hotel and request our rooms in Building 3 above 5th floor and our rooms were perfect. Our friends arrived later and had paid extra for Concierge service which is a complete and utter scam, both groups got placed in Building 1 which is the oldest building for Melia timeshare people and next door construction banging day and night and they were the farthest from all the action. By calling very early for restaurant reservations for next day I always got what I wanted for 6 people in our group while they always got lousy times with their "concierge". One last thing, people were desperate for loungers on the beach and were crashing the Royal section with impunity. No one was checking. Rant over. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat though.

We're a bit late in posting this review, but better late than never :) - Family of 4 ( 2 girls 5yrs and 9yrs) - Booked Ocean view - Family Concierge service - on arrival, the check-in was done at the nice Family Concierge facility... kids played pool while we did the check-in - we were given a cell-phone to contact our Butler, Gloria. - Gloria took care of everything from restaurant bookings to excursion planning etc. - She would leave a local toy/ treats for the Girls everyday!!! They loved it!!! - if you are a young family, don't think just go with Family Conceirge service. - Kids Zone was amazing, it would open at 9 and go till 8. Girls didn't even want to go back to the room :). They would take them to the pool, feed them lunch/dinner and engage them in tons of activities. - Thanks to Kids Zone, we go some adult time everyday - Restaurants are great... each is better than the other. The general buffet itself is quite good and full of variety - the drinks, while not top of top shelf, we're pretty decent. - we rented a car on two days to visit xCarat and Tulum/Xel-Ha. Driving there is pretty straight-forward the road is straight-line as well. - weather was amazing all 7 days - everyday, near the pool they have some performances. - Also, every evening there is a performance/show at inside bar. - Didn't have one dull moment - Transit from/to the airport was smooth - Staff is extra helpful and polite... the quality of service is really good. You can't go wrong with this resort!!! We had an amazing time!!! Gloria, thanks for all your assistance and service... it was simply amazing. The girls still talk about you ;) Cheers!!! Had an excellent week at the Paradisus Cancun. We are Club Melia members so we were in the Club Melia section. Room was great, 5th floor, beautiful ocean view. The resort is large so you get lots of exercise walking around. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant selection was large (6) quality of food was very good. Concierge at Club Melia very helpful. All in all an excellent week No complaints.

Very nice hotel! We loved the Royal Services and its restaurant at the beach! Also love the main lobby atmosphere, night shows, and bars!. There was a great idea to open the disco at 11:00 PM since we do not usually stay late so for us was perfect. Definitely we will be back in the future.

Resort is exceptional in every way. Impeccably clean, friendly staff, nice variety of restaurants with excellent food, premium drinks everywhere, and picture perfect location. Beautiful marble interior and the most exquisite lobby of any resort. Pools are large and clean and the beach volleyball was a blast. This is the 2nd time we have been there and already talking about booking another trip there. Highly recommend !!!!
