The resort was very beautiful. The lobby and main entrance was amazing. The various restaurants were sprinkled throughout the main common area. There were some other restaurants in other areas. The best food was from Mole, Fuego and Market Grill. We also loved La Palapa. The Asian themed restaurants were not as good, some dishes were better than others. They also have a café and a gelato stand. The poolside food in Royal Service was very good! Our room was upgraded to family concierge which was bigger and more spacious but the décor was a little dated. It was clean and tidy but somewhat dated. There is a mini bar with drinks, and snacks. Service was good. Everyone was kind, nice and tried to be helpful. The Service was not as good as it should be in that our servers kept forgetting dishes, entrees, sides, drinks, etc. It happened everywhere from the buffet, to La Palapa to the various restaurants. Its an odd thing but if servers and management took their time to double check orders and what we are supposed to be given the service would be impeccable. They do very much try and are very kind. Our room was upgraded to family concierge but our bracelet/service level was upgraded to Royal Service. Because it was an upgrade we did not get a butler service. Royal service is very nice as you have your own pool, own restaurant area (La Palapa), use of the lounge with snacks and premium drinks and can use the spa facilities. I think it is about a 90 upgrade a night. Is it worth it? If you also pay for it, you get butler service with first priority to bali beds and restaurants. They also unpack and pack for you! We would definitely get that service if we were to come back.

The Paradisus Cancun is a wonderful resort that has plenty of restaurants, amenities, pools, and an adults only place. My Fiance and I stayed for 7 days we didn't have a chance to check out all the restaurants. I want to specifically call out Jose Garrido at the pool concierge in the adults only pool for making us feel special every single day. His personality and polite demeanor really made out trip special. We would also like to call out Josue Leon and Orlando from La Palapa, as they were very helpful in helping us select the best items of the menu. Service at this resort in general was amazing!!

The pool and beach were very nice. The dinners were nothing special. The lobby was very nice but hot (No AC). If you are looking for any night life even with low key, music and bar there is not much ever going on. I would not run back to this hotel. I stay in Royal service part of hotel service was nothing special.

There's 5 parts in this resort. We were staying in the first one, it was about 7 minutes of walking to get to the main pyramid where all the restaurants are. The room was okay, nothing fancy. The balcony is small but we had a hot tub on it. Housekeeping was usually good except the last days they forgot to put new towels..we called and they delivered it within 10 minutes or so. The restaurants are not the best, service is not consistent and food is great at Market Grill. For the rest it's not exceptional for Mexico, I had better food in other resorts in Cancun. You feel the gap between Royal Service and regular guests. You have to book your a la carte restaurants a day in advance and not all the restaurants were open. They ask for your room number and then tell you if they have availability for you. We had a few waiters who did not speak english at all and freaked out because we didn't speak spanish very well so they didn't serve us until we called the manager, then they came back and screwed up the order even if I showed them the menu to make sure they really understood what we wanted. On a better note the beach is clean but there is a big step to get to the ocean due to the strong waves so be careful. Service on the beach is great if you tip well, around the pool you better go to the bar yourself it will be quicker. Ask for brand alcohol, if not they will use the cheap stuff. Towel service doesn't required a card which is great. The hotel is close to the bus stop if you want to go downtown or to la Isla Shopping. I wouldn't recommend going to this hotel unless you take the Royal Service.

We’ve had a wonderful experience-on day 9! Laura, who’s served us at the pool is AMAZING! She is beyond attentive and takes wonderful care of us! Orlando, in breakfast, is so personable and provides the best service as well!! We will be back due to their service.
