My boyfriend and I had a 10-night stay here with Royal Service. We were celebrating our anniversary, a birthday, career change, and much needed vacation. Because of the quality of service and the beauty of the resort we had such a lovely time. The resort is absolutely gorgeous. Each pyramid has it's only plant garden, with vines dangling down from each floor which adds to charm of this luxurious and peaceful resort. The staff here made everything so wonderful for us. First and foremost, I have to thank Eduardo for helping make our stay so memorable and special, we will definitely see if we can request him if we stay at the Paradisus Cancun again. He was our butler and took care of everything we needed and followed-up constantly to make sure we were pleased. He was personable and genuinely caring, a very rare quality to find, and we are so grateful. At the pool Jose was kind and always checking up on us to make sure we had what we needed. At the lounge, Hector was always smiling and friendly, asking us if we wanted anything, we appreciated the conversation he'd provide too. One of our top two favorite restaurants at the resort was Mole, Christian is such an amazing waiter, his food suggestions, knowledge, and general demeanor made the evening enjoyable. The other restaurant we loved is Bana for sushi and more, the dining area is in the main lobby surrounded by plants, giving it a very natural and romantic vibe. Vento is this nice small plates restaurant with a little water garden and koi fish, again, beautiful vibe. La Paloma, is exclusive to Royal Service guests, we would HIGHLY recommend getting the mango or coconut ice cream, it's a lovely presentation for ice cream and so delicious. For asian fusion there is Enzo, the food is good and enjoyable, but not great, so it was a little disappointing, especially because we expected more considering the type of resort this was. If you enjoy tacos, Blue Agave is yummy. Fuego was nice as well. The buffet, Naos, is alright, basically what you'd expect from a buffet. Book a Royal Service room to make the stay worth it. I will say, the only reason that this came up on vacation search results within our budged is because they had lowered the price during our stay due to renovations (which was not audible and absolutely amazing!). Based on tips from other guests we spoke to during our stay, we would suggest booking a regular room and try to upgrade to Royal Service when you get to the hotel for the best price and quality of your stay if possible. Royal Service was definitely worth it (at least at the price we paid and our budget). Also, this allows free access to "hydro therapy" at the spa, which is basically, the steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi area that focuses on different areas of the body in the pool. Overall if we can afford it and decide to come back to Cancun, we would definitely choose Paradisus again.

After staying at LaPearla this was quite a let down. We requested two rooms close together and were put on two different floors; this really makes a family girls trip feel fragmented. Royal service was not quite as royal on this trip.

The resort was very beautiful. The lobby and main entrance was amazing. The various restaurants were sprinkled throughout the main common area. There were some other restaurants in other areas. The best food was from Mole, Fuego and Market Grill. We also loved La Palapa. The Asian themed restaurants were not as good, some dishes were better than others. They also have a café and a gelato stand. The poolside food in Royal Service was very good! Our room was upgraded to family concierge which was bigger and more spacious but the décor was a little dated. It was clean and tidy but somewhat dated. There is a mini bar with drinks, and snacks. Service was good. Everyone was kind, nice and tried to be helpful. The Service was not as good as it should be in that our servers kept forgetting dishes, entrees, sides, drinks, etc. It happened everywhere from the buffet, to La Palapa to the various restaurants. Its an odd thing but if servers and management took their time to double check orders and what we are supposed to be given the service would be impeccable. They do very much try and are very kind. Our room was upgraded to family concierge but our bracelet/service level was upgraded to Royal Service. Because it was an upgrade we did not get a butler service. Royal service is very nice as you have your own pool, own restaurant area (La Palapa), use of the lounge with snacks and premium drinks and can use the spa facilities. I think it is about a 90 upgrade a night. Is it worth it? If you also pay for it, you get butler service with first priority to bali beds and restaurants. They also unpack and pack for you! We would definitely get that service if we were to come back.

The Paradisus Cancun is a wonderful resort that has plenty of restaurants, amenities, pools, and an adults only place. My Fiance and I stayed for 7 days we didn't have a chance to check out all the restaurants. I want to specifically call out Jose Garrido at the pool concierge in the adults only pool for making us feel special every single day. His personality and polite demeanor really made out trip special. We would also like to call out Josue Leon and Orlando from La Palapa, as they were very helpful in helping us select the best items of the menu. Service at this resort in general was amazing!!

The pool and beach were very nice. The dinners were nothing special. The lobby was very nice but hot (No AC). If you are looking for any night life even with low key, music and bar there is not much ever going on. I would not run back to this hotel. I stay in Royal service part of hotel service was nothing special.
