feel we got value for our money but i don't feel the upgrades i paid for were worth it. Beds were very uncomfortable and rooms were very small. the property itself was very nice comparable to the nicest hotels in the area. Also need to be careful with the charges as they try and double bill.

Just stayed there last week because of a Congress. The hotel is beautiful with great scenery and landscapes, beach is outstanding! However to be sold as an "All Inclusive" when you have to pay extra to get a bed by the beach or by the pool, then is not really an all Inclusive. We had to pay from $105-$150+ to get a bed by the beach (and of course, you get a bottle of champagne and food delivered), but the mere fact that you have to pay extra to get the better things of the hotel is definitively a bad thing. I have stayed at many other All Inclusive type of hotel, and when you say All Inclusive, is really all. Don't advertise like it if you are not ready to deliver... The other bad thing that was although my room was very nice, my mattress had an inclination on the head side. I didn't realize that for a couple of days, and as result, i had gastritis and reflux. When i noticed what created the problem, i tucked in the cushions from the living room under the head side of the mattress and problem solved. Good sleep (actually the mattres could have been better), but the best of it, gastritis and reflux were gone. Bad place to stay if you are an smoker. I don't really care that much about that, but certainly having to walk outside of the hotel to smoke or just having one single area for smoking by the beach is not a good thing if you want to relax and enjoy a cigar.

We just returned from a 7 nights stay at the Paradisus Cancun. We opted for the Royal Service upgrade and thanks to our butler Suzanna we were treated like King and Queen. Our Ocean view room was immaculate, modern functional furniture impeccable, amenities such as Nespresso coffee machine, well appointed mini-bar,bathroom super clean and large balcony. The staff was very friendly, beach clean, numerous beach chairs and ''huts'' and also we had the option to use the ''Bali Beds''. Service on the beach is always available during daytime and again the waiters were friendly and efficient. The Hotel in general is very well kept, pool area always clean and functional. Great service at La Palapa restaurant thanks to Julio and Ricardo.
