We enjoyed this resort! Lots to do in Cancun and we did a couple of excursions but at the middle of the week, I just wanted to stay on the beach. Pools were nice too. Service was mostly good. Had to get a little aggressive at the pool side cafe. They didn't make eye contact but were friendly once I caught their attention. The restaurants were each great in a different way and the service was exceptional. They often brought out items just to try. The buffet was also good. I could do without the incense at night. Ugh. Other than that it was a very relaxing week!

I cannot say enough amazing things about our trip and this resort. We truly felt like we were in paradise. The service was incredible. Alejandro at Naos was absolutely the best!!! He took care of us so well. We never had to wait for anything. I could not believe the service. My family and I were very impressed. Daniela took care of my daughter on her birthday for her kid's facial. It was AMAZING. They treated our Birthday girl like a Princess. Thank you for that. The service on the beach was incredible. I can go on and on about Sergio and Asustencia. I miss them! They took care of all our needs. I want to say that Paradisus Cancun is definitely above many of the other hotels. It's immaculate. So clean and beautiful. The food was perfect. We had the best food with many delicious choices. Our room was in building 3 on the 8th floor. Totally perfect location. We were extremely pleased. The housekeeping service was phenomenal. They really know how to take of you while you are on vacation. I would more than recommend Paradisus to anyone thinking about traveling to Cancun. It was so worth it. Please tell Sergio on the beach hello from the Zamorano family. Orlando also was amazing at Naos. Our vacation was perfect. Thank you. The Zamorano Family

This hotel is beautiful but old and there are few things that make it nice but not worth the money you pay for. Rooms: the rooms are ok but nothing wow. It was nice that we had ocean view but the buffet was below and it smelled like food all the time (not good). Also the AC installations were right outside so it was pretty loud. The beach: It was beautiful white sand and we always found a place to sit and relax. However, the ocean was very aggressive and the wave would pull you in.. can be very dangerous. Thanks god the lifeguards were there all the time! The servers at the beach were very attentive; they did earn their tip. Food: we went to almost all restaurants. Tempo was amazing as well as the mexican cousine restaurant. The rest not so good. The buffet was not that good, it did had a lot of variety but it wasn't delicious in general. Couple of times they did have one dish here and there that was ok. Customer Service: I think this is what we liked the most. The staff, the servers were sooo nice , helpful and humble. We enjoyed talking to them. The pool: the pool was nice but most of times very busy. It was hard to find a spot. I will mention that the hotel grounds and facilities were very clean all the time. A lot of workers! Entertainment: they did had something every night and it seemed ok. For me it was an "ok" experience, hanging out with my sister and her family made it nice because that's what mattered to me but when it comes to the overall experience it should be cheaper given what it actually is.

The resort was exceptional! The food was amazing, the best restaurant was the Peruvian restaurant called FUEGO but my Boyfriend loved the Asian restaurant outside by the beach called ENZO. The servers are all so attentive and they will cater to all your needs. If you want good service at a bar, visit EMMANUEL who works at the bar in the middle of the resort with the big tents and the red lantern lights. He made me drinks until I was fully satisfied with one he called the "Emmanuel special". I'm not a big drinker but I like a fruity tropical drink and that's exactly what he made me. If you are young and want a party scene definitely go to the swim up bar, we made friends with other visitors and the bartenders are just as fun. The service was exceptional. You just tell the workers or the servers what you want and they will accommodate in any way possible. The room was clean and even without a view of the beach, the view we had of the Cancun strip and the ocean was just perfect. We will definitely be staying at all MeliĆ” resorts because their chain is just that amazing.

I went with 5 girlfriends celebrating 50 and 60 year birthdays. We had 3 rooms and the hotel was able to get us altogether. We had a lagoon view on the third floor where we enjoyed amazing views of the sunset each night. Check in and out were a little slow but they give you a cold beer while you wait! The food did not give anybody stomach problems. Our favorites were Mole and Fuego. Breakfast buffet at the Market Grill each morning where we were treated like princesses by Martin and Fernando. Beach side our waiter Sofiano was great, bringing numerous Mojitos and buckets of ice cold bottled water. I enjoyed an amazing massage in the spa with Justina and a water aerobics class led by "Magic Mike". We also saw the Michael Jackson show, very entertaining with Cirque de soleii quality dancers. The resort is dated but it is also charming, kind of like going to Mexico in college! ( in the 80's!) Our room was comfortable, the lobby and open areas are not air conditioned but most of the time you could find a refreshing breeze. We went on a snorkle and Isla Contoy excursion. Great! Jauquin at the concierge desk was very helpful in setting this up. It was a nice break to do something different and see more of the area. Next time I want to do the underground cave trip. Our four night trip was under $1,000.00 including airfare from Houston. I think we definitely got our moneys worth!!
