This is our second visit to this resort. At Bana, The chef Bartolo, the waiter Jose and the manager made our dinner exquisite. The chef spoiled my wife and 12 year old daughter with special dishes and made our dinner a unique expierece. We repeated this restaurant in our 6 days visit. I would highly recommend this restaurant when you visit this resort.

My husband is NOT one to leave the United States and it was difficult to convince him that we should give it a try at an all-inclusive in Mexico. By the time we had been at Paradisus for one day, he was already talking about coming back and bringing the kids! This hotel is beautiful and there is such attention to detail. We loved the foliage throughout and the fresh and aromatic flowers in the lobby. We were there the first week of March and the weather was absolutely perfect. Not too hot where you can't enjoy yourself outside, but hot enough to swim without being chilly. We do not take luxurious trips often, so for us an ocean view room with standard service was just fine and not once did we feel like we were treated as less important guests. Every single staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the cleaning staff, went out of their way to ask if we needed anything and they were all incredibly friendly. The food was superb at every restaurant and even the buffet only had a few "misses" for us. The grounds, pools, beach, and water are breathtaking. We actually left the resort a few times and felt perfectly safe in the business district where we found little shops and fun things to see. We cannot wait to get back there and even found ourselves fantasizing about an alternate universe where we could find some way to live in Cancun!

The chef Bartolo was super special with us. My wife is allergic to gluten and the chef treated her super well. Our 12 year old daughter also enjoyed the special rolls that the chef prepared for her. Jose was our waiter and he also made the experience unforgettable with his kindness and outstanding service. Overall it was an outstanding experience for the whole family. I would highly recommend this restaurant when you visit this resort. We repeated this restaurant on our 6 days stay.

Excellent Hotel. Great food at the buffet and most restaurants. Out of 6 restaurants the only one that we did not like was Enso - bad food and bad service. The rest were amazing. We enjoyed the beach and the pool. Couple things that could be improved - there was a lot of seaweed on the beach, and instead of removing it, there was a tractor every morning pushing the seaweed back into the ocean to make the beach look clean. Also since this is a family friendly hotel we would expect to have quiet time at the beach, but there was really loud DJ music on the beach. I would prefer to just enjoy the sounds of the ocean and if someone wanted music they could enjoy it at the pool or have a portable speaker... Our waitress Asuncion at the beach was excellent. This is the 2nd time we are staying at Paradisus (1st one was Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana). Would definitely recommend this hotel chain.

We spent six nights here in the middle of March. The vibe of the hotel was welcoming and pleasant. Every step of the grounds smelled excellent, thanks to well-placed aroma dispensers. Our Junior Suite Lagoon View Room was gorgeous; it was spacious, comfortable, and provided a cool respite from the sun in the afternoons. We spent a few nights exploring the reservation-required restaurants such as Enso and Bana, both of which were great. Our favorites were Blue Agave for its delicious quesadillas and tacos, and Naos for its eclectic buffet selection. While every restaurant provided excellent service, we particularly enjoyed our interactions with Martin, Andres, and Atilano in Naos. Service pool and beachside was superb, with waiters coming by occasionally for drink orders, or just to drop off an ice bucket with several water bottles. Even in the height of spring break season, we were never disturbed by other guests, loud music, obnoxious kids, or any such annoyances. All the grounds were well-kept and modern, and access to the concierge and room service through the bedside phone was prompt and stress-free. We ordered from the 24-hour room service (which was complimentary) several times; ordering was easy, and our food arrived within 30 minutes. While not as high quality as what you might find in the restaurant, it was satisfactory for its convenience and ease. Our only complaint is the brevity of our stay. We hope to be back, and we highly recommend the Paradisus for anyone looking for a calm, relaxing getaway.
