We’ve been to Cancun more than 30 times staying in various hotels and resorts and found the Paradisus by far the best hotel in the ‘hotel zone’. The service is perfect, buffet and restaurants perfect and the staff goes out of their way to help. There are several specialty restaurants that are included in the all inclusive including the best steakhouse where they bring you large selections of meats and cut them off the bones at your table The Mediterranean and Sochi restaurants were also perfect. Poolside has 1 more restaurant and a place to get hot dogs, burgers, chicken wings or Mexican cuisine. If you prefer the buffet, they offer everything including a huge selection of seafood and almost everything you can imagine or want. The pool is huge with a great swim up bar and a staff member always there to take your order. In the evenings there are nightly shows and the ‘red’ bar opens at 10 pm. Yes, they will offer you a timeshare presentation but they are not pushy. Out of curiosity we took the time share tour and saved big money on tickets to Xplor (zip lines) with the kids If anyone finds any fault with this hotel, I’d be surprised. We’ve been at this hotel several times and just can’t see going to any other resorts while in Cancun.

We decided on returning to Paradisus this year with a group of 4 adults and 4 kids January 11-18. Unfortunately 6 out of our 8 days was bad weather but the staff and management went above and beyond making sure there were lots of activities to keep the kids occupied. The President of Mexico was also on site on one of the days to speak at a conference, and there was little to no disruption to our vacation which was really appreciated considering the amount of security and bankers on the property. The food selection was excellent. Our favorites were the Japanese and Tapas. We are extremely grateful for the hosts/hostesses for always finding us a table for 8 at anytime of day, particularly Katia who remembered us from our visit last year. Thank you Katia. The beach is great with loungers available if you can reserve one early. Otherwise, there are always some avail on the far sides. It was great to see Luis again this year. Thank you for the drinks Luis! The pools are fantastic. Wish we had more nice weather to enjoy them. Would be really nice if they had a warm pool or a hot tub as it was pretty cold during our stay. This wasn’t a big concern as it was the same last year. There are lots of clean towels available to warm up. Hopefully warming the pools is something Paradisus can address in the future to make it a 5 star rating from us!! Our kids favorite is definitely the kids club. Best kids club at any resort we’ve been too. Lots of space and stuff to keep them busy. Thank you Andrea and Hali for making the kids experience memorable. Lastly, the one thing that will keep us returning is the impeccable service we received from every member of the hotel staff. From check in to check out, we really felt welcome and no request was out of the way. To see a few of the staff members from the last year is amazing and we hope to see our friends when we return again. After our trip last year, we weren’t sure we would return as there are so many other hotels and resorts to try, but we’re so glad we did and it won’t be the last.

This is our third trip to Paradisus Cancun and they do not disappoint. Amazing staff, Sonia, Kathia, Rafael and Antonia from Market Grill were outstanding. They could not do enough for us. Excellent service. Our concierge Valeria and butler George, all I can say is amazing, caring. The friendliest and most accommodating staff I have ever encountered. Truly a paradise. 5 stars Rosa Maria T.

We stayed at this hotel last week and have to say the service and ambience of the hotel was excellent. We found it to be very kid friendly and loved everything from the pools, the rooms and definitely the food. We had called ahead and informed them that we were vegetarians. We were provided with a variety of off the menu vegetarian options regardless of which restaurant we booked to eat in. I would like to mention in particular Chef Eduardo Mukul who was fantastic and made our stay memorable with the amazing food he made for us. We would highly recommend this hotel for vegetarians, families with young kids (my son did not want to leave the kids club) and for anyone looking for a wonderful relaxed holiday.

We booked this hotel trough a sharp deal through booking. Compared to the price with other hotels, we didn’t had a very high expectation. That all changed when we arived. More then friendly check in. We did now that the former melia was a bit dated. But hey! We expierenced a. Nice a newly up to date athmosphere, overall very friendly staff. Good drinks, an absolute nice wine. We had an upgrade to Royal service. Wich was absoluut nice. Sperate nice pool and some other opportunities. We have expierenced the whole resort without showing our gold bracelets en efforts. We were helped and serviced everywere good!. Had food en diner in almost every restaurant. Without reservations , and plans where we wanted to eat. We checked without plans to go somewere, and never got dissapointed. We were very happy with our room in building 5. But we checked also the other rooms in the complex, when we walked through the corridors. The all look nice and comfortable. Paradisus thanks! It was good.
