We spent a week in Royal Service which was incredible. The service (includes a butler), the beautiful room, the private adults only pool and dining areas were all impeccable. I advise however that this is only when you book Royal Service. After returning from Tulum we needed to stay a final night in Cancun so we booked here again but skipped the Royal Service as we were only there for a matter of hours but this was a mistake - it was like we were staying in an entirely different resort! The rooms are old, dated and at most 3 stars. The service dropped too and when we realised just how different it was to our initial experience we tried to move to Royal Service but it was booked. Moral of the story - Royal Service area = 5 stars and the Other area = at best 3 stars!

This is our second visit to Paradisus - this time with a family of 5. The first time we traveled as an engaged couple and found this hotel based on completely different criteria. This hotel truly creates a customized experience for whatever your needs are (family, couples, etc). What sets this hotel apart is the gorgeous natural atrium overflowing with greenery & plants, the many pools, the gorgeous beach, the friendly staff, and the family concierge program. We upgraded to a family concierge suite ocean view and this allowed us separate living space with sofa bed, master bed and 2 balconies. The family concierge allowed a separate lounge area with snacks and a baby play room. The kids club had many activities planned and our older kids had to be dragged out of there, they were having so much fun. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful with the baby. After spending a week, we know we will be back!

Stayed here twice such a beautiful hotel clean beach's, the only thing that I would complain about is the food I wish there were more authentic Mexican food like Fajitas/enchiladas/beans rice Y la m├║sica porque no pone norte├▒o or cumbias we're in Mexico­čśë overall great hotel awesome staff!

First off get over how perfect this vacation was. The staff is always smiling and very helpful. Every day we were there we had the same waiters in the Naos restaurant, in the morning we would have Gaudenico and at dinner time we would have Omar Garcia. Both of them were phenomenal waiters. Never once had any dirty dishes or empty cups on the table and then if we didn't know where something we on the buffet or it was out they would go get it personally for you. Adam Lucila was also a huge help to us too at night time in Naos. My family and I can not thank you guys enough for giving us an amazing dining experience every time we ate. The activity director Hector was also a huge help to us every morning giving us information on what was going on for the day and what shows or type of music they were offering for the night. I could go on and on about how these guys just made our vacation experience over the top. We can not thank you guys enough either for making this the best vacation!

Upon check in, we had to meet with Bianca who told us all about the hotel but also tried to sell us packages, which took 30 minutes. With 2 small kids after a long flight, would have liked to skip this. We asked if we could upgrade because we had the money to do so but were told the hotel was absolutely booked and no upgrades were available (they have 5 connecting hotels). Later on the beach we met a couple who asked if we had Family Concierge and we said no. Well apparently they upgraded upon check in to Family Concierge in Tower 3 where there is a special block of rooms only for families. The hotel staff make reservations for you, book your excursions, and you get a free bottle of champagne every night. We got a plain room in Tower 1. Really confused why we were not offered this even after we asked for an upgrade?? So we complained to our hostess Bianca about the roll away bed my husband had to sleep on-literally a very thin mattress on chunky coils. Bianca said she would get a new bed right away for us. She never did and we had to call the front desk and do it ourselves. Disappointing. FYI the hotel charges $400 for a trip to Excaret Park for 1 day. The photo people walk around and take pics of you with parrots etc; however, they charge $50 for 3 printed pics. The waiters expect to be tipped. Housekeeping was amazing. Food was okay, except all steaks were amazing. All the on site restaurants had NO air conditioning. They used fans to cool us off. The hotel did not have air on except the front desk check in and your room. It was hot. We did not feel taken care of here while everyone else were raving about Family Concierge. First time for my kids in Cancun, with a not so great experience. And yes we've been to Cancun many times before kids.
