Our family had a great time at Paradisus Cancun. Service level by all personnel was, on the whole, outstanding and the outdoor amenities (pool, lounge chairs, palapas, etc.) was top notch and availability of these amenities was not a significant problem. It is on a gorgeous stretch of beach that is less crowded than other parts of the beach in Cancun. You won't be disappointed. We had a one-bedroom Family Concierge suite with an Ocean View. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room; it is very comfortable and both the living area and the bedroom have their own balconies which was great as we were able to enjoy the sound of the ocean while the kids were asleep. The view was amazing. The Family Concierge butler assigned to our family was an outstanding resource making restaurant and bali bed reservations and making sure that we had everything we need from band aids to towels to a bottle of wine for the terrace. I don't know if I would find the butler service particularly useful if I weren't traveling with our kids. But with kids, it was a really valuable service. With respect to the food at the Paradisus, it should be said that you shouldn't come with expectations of great cuisine at the food options in the all-inclusive plan. Yes, there are a lot of options and variety and everything is fresh which is great but the execution was wanting. We came for the beach and the weather, not the food, so this didn't detract from our experience. We figured we couldn't go wrong with the Mexican food but Mole was disappointing. Blue Agave was good but only had tacos and soups, no rice and beans which my kids love. Fuego was decent. Naos could best be described as lower-midgrade Vegas buffet. You can definitely find some diamonds in the rough there but nothing special. Breakfast in our opinion was the best meal of the day. That said, we had dinner one night at Tempo which is not included in the all-inclusive plan. It was a world-class experience and rivaled tasting menus I have had at top restaurants in NY. Definitely worth the splurge. Overall, we can highly recommend the Paradisus Cancun. Yes, the resort is showing its age a little bit in the indoor common areas but the rooms and outside amenities were great and well maintained. The staff definitely bent over backwards to make sure we had an enjoyable stay and the wait staff covered the outdoor beach and pool areas very well. Our family had a great time and we would be happy to come back again.

Stayed at this all inclusive resort for a business conference. The property is run down and dated. The food is absolutely horrible, especially the buffet restaurants. The remaining restaurants all require reservations. I would NEVER stay here again

So we lost our flight back to the states on Sunday afternoon. Instead of getting angry and ruining our trip we decided this one-day vacation extension was meant to be - so we made the best of it. We stayed at Paradisus and the stay was fantastic! The room was neat and clean and the overall resort was fantastic. We really enjoyed the pool with the music. The cabanas were a little extra but our stay was truly fantastic!

My wife and I just returned from celebrating our wedding anniversary and we couldn't be more pleased with our service. Alain from royal service did an excellent job making sure we had what we needed!! Alain also provided great deco for my wife and I throughout our stay and especially on our anniversary night. Could not have enjoyed ourselves any more than how we did.

We’ve just returned from 5 days at the Paradisus Cancun, and had yet another great vacation! The resort is gorgeous … the pools are large and never feel crowded, the food in all the restaurants is fresh and delicious, we especially enjoyed the Market Grill and seafood night at Naos. In every corner of the resort the Paradisus staff is friendly, happy and the service is always first class. The rooms are clean, large and very comfortable. The fridge was restocked daily with water, soda and snacks. There is entertainment and activities that we all enjoyed and there were decorations for Valentine’s Day, the staff gave my girls roses by the pool and they loved it. The beach in Cancun is gorgeous and Paradisus is in a great location. We were able to jump on the bus for a quick ride downtown for a little afternoon shopping. We are Club Melia members and there is something about the member check-in that always makes us feel like VIPs. We had Claudia Arriola as our concierge for this visit and when we were there in 2016. Claudia is the best! Before we even arrive she is in contact to help us plan the best vacation we can have. She sent us details on roundtrip transfers from the airport, which was super easy to reserve in advance and made our arrival at the airport simple and smooth. She makes sure we get dinner reservations at the restaurants we want to eat in, lets us know about special events, shows and offers available to us as hotel guests. She checks in periodically to make sure we are enjoying our stay and have everything we need … but is never pushy or intrusive. She understands we are on vacation and want to relax. Claudia is attentive, smart, professional, dedicated and one of the sweetest people I’ve ever worked with to plan an unforgettable and fun vacation for my family. We look forward to returning to Paradisus Cancun again and again.
