Would not stay here again. Front desk staff not friendly. Did nothing to accommodate for room mix up. Maids never left enough wash clothes or towels. Not enough space for most guest to attend shows had to sit on steps outside.

One of the best resorts with amazing staff and brilliant food! I went there with 5 other friends and I can say it is one of the most amazing holiday I ever had. As a vegetarian i didn't struggle with the food, there were always so many options. Additionally, the dive centre inside and across the road makes this deal more sweet. We booked Junior Suite with the adults only section and it was really good. I hope you go there lie by the pool whole day, enjoy their mango ice cream, have pina coladas, have dinner at one of the exclusive dinner places (they have some 7 or 9 I forgot places) and then go to the club xxx I wish I was there

My family and I stayed at this hotel the first week of May. There were 8 of us: Myself, my wife, my 3-year old son, my 7-month old daughter, my wife's parents, and my wife's sister and boyfriend. Would I consider this a family resort? I would say "no", however they do a really good job of providing entertainment and amenities for families. The target audience is not families but there's enough to keep the kids entertained. They have a good-sized kiddie pool that is about waist deep for a 3-year old. It's just a pool, not a water park with sprays or slides. So you will need to bring pool toys to help keep the kids entertained. (There is a gift shop where you can but stuff but it's overpriced). The pool is located by a hut that is an activity area for kids. They have all different types of events throughout the day and some of the events are really good. There's also a small playground for kids with a slide and swing. Our room location was right in front of one of the adult pools. The view was spectacular but, for a family with kids, it was a terrible spot because it was next to the main stage area for the nightly shows. Thankfully, we brought a noise machine for our room. Otherwise there would have been no way our kids would have been able to sleep. Be aware that it's not truly "all-inclusive". It depends on the level you selected. For example, we didn't get the "Family Concierge" package because we felt that we would be excessive to have our own butler. Sounded good but would rather spend that money on activities. Figured we could get our own ice. However, what we didn't realize was you can't have alcohol delivered to the room without paying for "Family Concierge". The very first night we put the kids to bed and were excited to sit on the balcony and make plans for the week over a bottle of wine... only to find out I would have to pay for the bottle if I wanted it delivered. They only way I could get drinks to the room would be to go to a bar and bring it back. But that would only be a single glass, not a bottle, and I could potentially wake up the kids opening and shutting the door. So we were a little sour we couldn't get the drinks we wanted. Additionally, there are little cabana huts all over the resort. But those are only given to people that paid for a certain level. We lowly regular all-inclusive people would have to pay for them each day if we wanted to use them. I also wasn't allowed to drink some of the top shelf liquor, such as Don Julio anejo. So we definitely felt like lesser-ofs because we didn't have the highest levels. The sad thing is we could have afforded the higher level, we just didn't realize how necessary it was. Overall, it's a beautiful hotel. The food was generally good. The atmosphere was great. We were treated with respect. It was clean. The room was nice (aside from the location). So I do consider it a nice hotel. Just be aware that it isn't completely focused on families (but I don't think they advertise themselves that way) and I would recommend forking over the extra money for the higher level, especially if you want to be able to order drinks to your room or have a cabana/hut.

Had a wonderful experience staying here with my family. There are lots of activities at the hotel and nearby (aquaworld is right across the street, and the mall is just a 5 min taxi ride). The staff are some of the kindest and happiest people I have ever met. Exceptionally accommodating and they regularly went the extra mile for us (including our server at Enzo going all the way to pyramid 3 to get us cappocinos!) The rooms are all very clean and well kept and the beds are surprisingly cozy. I can't say enough about the wonderful time we had here and I am certain we will be returning!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this resort last week, loved it! The good: 1. Service was outstanding. From the front desk check-in to check-out, all service was awesome. Beach service was particularly great considering the heat and amount of customers. 2. Beach was beautiful, the Internet pictures don't do it justice. 3. Landscaping was very pretty and well kept. 4. I only know English, but that's ok, most of the workers are very good with English. The bad: 1. Food was good, but not great. (In fairness, I'm a picky eater, most of the issue is me!) 2. Balcony a little small, but again, that's a personal thing. 3. Beach vendors, although not real pushy, could be annoying at times. 4. I'm a beer guy and beer brands were limited. Not a big deal, I knew it when I booked. (I learned to love Dos Equis!!) There is no American beer available. It was my first time in Cancun, and I was very impressed and definitely feel I received an incredible amount of bang for my buck! Last thought.......I booked through Apple vacations- they were excellent as well.
