I started out my visit wanting to move somewhere else. Our room wasn't very clean (crawling baby found multiple pieces of garbage/random stuff on the floor to chew), it was absurdly loud (as other reviewers have commented), and our "Lagoon view" was the roof of the building next door and a McDonalds. The pillows are, in fact, horrible (again, as others have said) and the food at one of the restaurants (Enso) was so bad we left and went to the buffet to try and find something else to eat. The drinks may not actually contain alcohol, though they were delicious. However - the staff was seriously amazing. Friendly, helpful, went the extra mile EVERY time. So the more we stayed, the more we ended up liking the place. Market Grill was AMAZING - we ate there twice. The main buffet (only place for breakfast) had a huge variety of foods - we always found something we liked. The views on the beach were awesome, the kiddie pool (where we, admittedly, spent most of our time) was beautiful, and the staff working there were attentive, friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. All in all - Pros - STAFF STAFF STAFF. Beautiful beach and pools, Market Grill was delicious, Buffet had wide variety Cons - So loud. Could hear everyone in the halls/rooms around you. A/C sounds like a plane taking off. Pillows/beds were not great, room not that clean, worn, dated, and limited options for breakfast/lunch. Not sure I'd recommend, but enjoyed our stay for the most part.

recently we stayed at the paradisus cancun. the hotel is beautiful, and the staff go out of their way to make your stay as stress- free as possible. although there are a number of restaurants in the hotel, the daily buffets at NAOS RESTAURANT l(we were on an all inclusive package) were so good we never even got to any other restaurants. . the staff at this eatery were fabulous. from ATILANO, ORLANDO AND MARTIN who waited on our ALEJANDRA who was our cheerful, friendly hostess, you just cannot go wrong here. el capitan, (the manager) GUILLERMO, ensures everything is running smoothly. there is a spa on the lower level of the hotel which connects to a yoga room and gym. as you enter the spa, you might be greeted by the affable, martin, who will be glad to answer any of your questions.front desk and concierge were very helpful. during the stay at paradisus I lost my garmin forerunner watch, which I use everyday. I was so happy when the concierge tracked the watch down. indeed, it had been turned into the lost and found by ALEJANDRO, a worker in the hotel. THANK YOU SO MUCH ALEJANDRO! there is also a lovely par 3 golf course, of which I only saw one person using during our stay. if you go on an all inclusive, this , and a whole lot more are included. would I go back, absolutely! we had a wonderful trip.kenny, mindy and ekat british columbia, canada

We stayed for 5 nights and booked the family concierge (highly recommend if you are traveling with young children). Alexander and Josue were our concierge attendants and were SO friendly to accommodate our every need. They brought candy, cookies, milk, and other surprises (like a balloon octopus in our bath tub that my daughter LOVED) and booked our reservations and more. At first I was sad that I didn't book an ocean view room (we had a 1 bedroom Lagoon view suite), but I think it ended up being quieter on that side - plus the sun sets over the Lagoon. The food was pretty good (our favorites were Fuego and Blue Agave) and we had no issues finding chairs at the beach or pool. This was our second trip back to the Paradisus and we would definitely return again. Thank you again for everything Alexander and Josue!

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff were fabulous, spoke good English and put up with my bad Spanish. Everything you could possibly need is here. From Argentinian steak houses, to a pool bar and from scuba diving to speed boating activities available. Obviously excursions cost extra, but if you look around or even book online whilst you're there you can find them pretty cheap. The variety in this hotel combined with genuinely friendly and helpful staff are what make it a breathtaking experience. So much so this review will not do it justice. Location is brilliant, beach backs onto the pool, so literally a 2 min walk from your room to the beach. Good location to get to town on the bus or taxi and that allows access to local (non tourist) restaurants, shops and awesome night life. I can't rate this place enough, we had a fantastic time here and know exactly where we will be going if we come back to Mexico.

We stayed in Royal Service for the Second year in a row. Wonderful surprise upgrade. Our check -in staff and manager were very welcoming and accommodating... we can't say enough about their attentiveness to our request for possibly getting the room from last year.. We celebrated our engagement at Paradisus last year with a beautiful evening gazebo dinner secretly planned between our butler and my fiance'.... I seriously thought we were getting married right then when I walked out to the gazebo... it was that amazing. This year there were no surprises (except for some rain) but services and staff continued to go above and beyond for any requests just as last year.. The rooms have been redesigned and decorated top notch. The pictures on the website don't do it justice! You have to see it to believe it. We will definitely be back. The adult only/royal service is a must!!
