The hotel was great overall. From the time we checked in until we left. Food, service, facilities and cleanliness was exceptional. Everyone was so helpful. Lots of English staff to help. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I rarely write reviews, but while at the resort, I said I HAVE to write something. This experience was beyond!! I have traveled all over the world, and this was the BEST service I ever received. The grounds are extremely clean, and very well kept - I did notice that some of the furniture looked a little dated, but that was the minority... But more importantly, if you book here, you HAVE to book ROYAL SERVICE. I cant stress that enough. And its not even that much more... I dont have the time or patience to write down all Royal Service has to offer (it really is that much), but I will say this: We left with 6 FULL bottles of absolut vodka, rum, and tequila. These were just gifts left in our room. The premium bar was so good that, we didnt even need to open our bottles, so we took them home. Probably would have taken more if our check in bag had the space. The butler service is amazing. They book everything for you. They get your clothes ironed everyday. Personalize your pillow with whatever scent you want. Make your dinner reservations (which I hear is really hard on the regular side). The private pool area and balibeds... and my favorite - snacks and drinks delivered directly to you on your bed or WHILE IN THE POOL - just amazing. I must admit some bartenders are better than others. They have good products but you may have to direct them a little.... Anyway, the most relaxing, enjoyable time. OH, and I love to party, so I got the best of both worlds. The relaxation during the day, and turn up at night. The Red lounge was packed with people every night, and they actually played good music. The kind I listen to like Hip Hip & R&B.

Let me begin with I LOVE MEXICO! 1st time @ Paradisus, must say the pictures online are spot on.The hotel itself is beautiful, my only complaints is NO AIR-CONDITIONING !! I get it ,they are preserving the beautiful plant life, that being said I really enjoyed the Red Lounge and Ave Bar but would have really loved it had they had just a little air!! All the restaurant are delicious (had a fried salmon skin salad @ BANA to die for) all the bars have top shelf liquor .Must say as far as service it was good, however not GREAT!!! I believe my experience @ the RUI resort have left me spoiled. Yes they will get you whatever you want/need but you must ask and as far as being greeted with an Hola Buenas Dias may not happen .As I said maybe I'm just spoiled from RUI,where you never need to ask for a single thing !!! And the hospitality is superb! Would I come back YES!!! the hotel is about 15-20 min from airport ,good food, good drinks ,night shows, pool shows, beautiful beach.

We were there in mid July and had a wonderful time. We scheduled our extra excursions with the hotel and they were so helpful with tips on what to do. We also took the bus which we had before this trip and they are easy to use and very clean. Only cost one dollar for one way. The Bana Restaurant was wonderful as always, Ezequlel the Manager stopped by to see if everything was to our liking and we had to say yes because Luis our waiter was right on top of everything. He recommended we try sake which was perfect with our dinner. Cannot wait to go back. (P.S. we had no issues with drinks being tainted).

Beautiful Resort with excellent customer service throughout the hotel. Really enjoyed the responsiveness of the hotel staff to my families needs. The food was excellent and with a great variety such as Naos Buffet, Mole Restaurant, Blue Agave, The Market Grill, these are the ones my family dined at during our stay. The coffee bar in the lower lobby was excellent according to my mom who enjoyed it every morning. My children like the ice cream and crepe bar and stopped for snacks each day. The room service was excellent and according to my three children, the chicken wings and club sandwichs were excellent. The Ave Bar in the evening was an excellent place to relax and meet people from everywhere. The service was excellent a huge thank you to Francisco and bartenders! These Gentlemen do a fantastic job. For those 18 years of age plus, stop into the Red Lounge for some music and dancing. Depending on the crowd mix the music will vary each night. Beach service is with drinks for the whole family buckets of water, soda, and cocktails are at your asking. I would recommend renting a bed on the beach, which was great for the kids to lounge in. The entertainment at night was good, but I would recommend getting their a little earlier to get a good seat because people come and it gets crowded and very warm. They do open some windows, so depending on where you are seating or standing you may feel a beautiful breeze. The rooms in the hotel are very nice and well maintained with good housekeeping service. The beds are comfortable and you can get a good nights sleep. The mini bars are always full with soda, water and beer and basic snacks. The pools are not to crowded and really low key. The servers around the pool do an excellent job of taking care of you. Get to the pool early to grab a place to sit for the day. It tends to fill up fast most days. Overall an excellent vacation. Can't wait to return next August with my family. We have been Melia Club Members since 2002. This is my actual first review of the property.
