We stayed for one week in March, 2018. Originally placed in a junior suite in pyramid 1 that looked at pyramid 2, we looked at several rooms before changing to an ocean view room in pyramid 4. Excellent room - modern. Great view of the ocean. Staff was friendly with room change. I thought the food was very good. We ate at the restaurants 5 nights and the buffet 2 nights. We ate at the Japanese restaurant Bana twice - excellent sushi and seared tuna. Claudio is a warm and friendly waiter there. We did not use Bali beds because they were not included in our stay. However, we got up early and reserved beach chairs under straw canopies by 7 am - there were usually a few free until 8:30 or 9AM. The water was very blue and comfortable for swimming. Gym was great too. Highly recommend this resort.

I went to Cancun with friends and we stayed at adult only area in Paradisus for 8 days. All I can say is that it is a great experience. I personally enjoyed the restaurant La Palapa very much. Not only has it the breathtaking views, but also it has tasty food. We are also lucky to have a dinner there once. Really great! Except that the personnel in the hotel is very kind and helpful. They also have some travel agencies in the hotel - either at the lobby or near the pool for water activities. It offers you many options. We also happened to get a personal touch with one of their members in the senior management team - Ebraham Franco. Very experienced management and always put their client first. Highly recommended.

We just returned from the Paradisus and I wanted to provide lots of information that I was looking for when I was looking for places. A little about my travel profile first: we are a family of four from Toronto with two 38 year old parents, a 7 year old and a 2 year old. We are very well traveled and have stayed all over the world. In general, we try and stay at 4 to 5 star places. FAMILY CONCIERGE After hearing about this service from several coworkers, we decided to try it out and it was totally worth it. Our butlers were Sandra and Alex and they were incredibly attentive. They booked all of our restaurants, showed us around, booked complimentary cabanas by the pool, booked any activities we wanted and pretty much helped with whatever we needed. They also left surprises for us and the kids every day: lovely toys, snacks, wine, tequila etc. The cabanas and surprises were totally worth the surcharge we paid for the service and we would definitely do the family concierge again. I hope we get Sandra and Alex again! RESTAURANTS (including Food Allergies) In general, we try and be healthy eaters and we were really happy with the variety and healthy options available in addition to the good (unhealthy) stuff (authentic Mexican, chicken wings, hot dogs, burgers etc.). We've been to all inclusive in Cuba, Mexico, DR, Jamaica and this food was the best by a long shot. My reviews below are obviously based on personal preference but I'm confident you will find food you love here. I also wanted to call out how they handle food allergies. Upon check in at the Royal Concierge desk, they wrote little allergy cards in Spanish for our kids and encouraged us to show them at the various restaurants. Every single restaurant/chef/manager we encountered were incredibly accommodating and each ensured we were comfortable with what was being served. Naos: Buffet was really good with tons of choice and lots of fresh food. In general, we try to be healthy eaters so were really happy with the fruit and veg options. To be honest, we were getting sick of the buffet after 7 breakfasts though and were happy to have dinner reservations every night. Service was really good. Vento: This is a tapas restaurant and it was pretty good. Very nice ambiance. Tempo: This is the adults only restaurant by Martin Berasategui. It was really really quite beautiful but we weren't quite prepared for what it was, didn't realize it was a tasting menu and would take a few hours. My husband and I had just come back from a weekend trip to NYC and had a lot of amazing culinary experiences so we weren't really yearning for a place like Tempo. It was no fault of the restaurant but wasn't for us on a family trip like this. We ended up rushing it and skipping the tasting menu and wine pairing. Blue Agave: This place has authentic Mexican. The tacos are incredible. I will miss this restaurant the most. It's the only place open 24 hours. It's also open for breakfast and you can avoid the crowds at Naos by eating here for brekkie. Mole: This was my favorite restaurant. Our kids have food allergies and these guys were the most accommodating and provided the best service. The head chef (I'm sorry I don't have his name) came to the table with the manager (Stephanie) and talked about what they'd make for the kids to make sure we were ok with it. It was certainly a 5 star experience and we were really impressed with the service. Our waiter was Rigoberto and our host was Claudia and their attention to our family and dinner were unparalleled. The food was also really really good. I wanted to eat everything on the menu. The mole was a standout. Market Grill: Alan and Rafael were our servers and they were really nice. Again, they accommodated our kids' allergies by making some separate dishes and the meat was amazing. Try the chicken! Fuego: Try the seafood appetizer and the ceviche! BEACH / POOL Beach: Beautiful but lots of seaweed this time of year (March). Waves were also a bit too big for our 2 year old but no rocks on the beach is a plus. Was sometimes hard to find beach chairs so get out there early. Sergio (our server) was really nice. Pool: At the very end of the resort is a family pool. Our 2 year old could walk around confidently with her floaties and it was a really big pool. It was full of nice families and lots of other kids who kept our kids occupied :). The cabanas here arranged by our concierge team were very comfortable. Nurbi ensured our ice bucket was always full and that the kids always had water. KIDS' ACTIVITIES The Kids Zone and Baby Zone services were the areas I was trying to research the most and couldn't figure it out ahead of time. For families with kids, this service was unbelievable. The Kids Zone was perfect for our 7 year old. It had a great play structure, video games, movies etc. It is also connected to the Baby Zone where our 2 year old played so her brother could go check on her. We didn't really get to take advantage of this service as we spent a lot of time together on the water but many other parents we met were dropping off the kids and were very complimentary to the staff. Halina and the rest of the staff were very kind to the kids and even called by name when they saw our kids around the resort. The activities for the kids are awesome. Cookie making, cupcake decorating, keychain making etc. There are activities for both kids and babies (0 to 4). So to clarify, you can leave your kids there. There were lots of other kids and parents in there playing with their own kids. When you sign them in, you just have to say where you'll be or if you have a concierge, they'll keep in contact with your concierge in case of emergency. I will come to Paradisus again for this service alone. Totally trustworthy. Overall - an excellent stay. We ended up paying a lot for this trip because it was March Break in Canada and were kind of annoyed when we heard what price last minute travelers we met at the resort paid for their trips so we'll probably try and look for a last minute option next time but will look forward to visiting again soon! Thank to all of the Paradisus Cancun staff for an amazing family trip!

We had a wonderful seven day stay at this beautiful resort. From the moment we arrived we received warm hospitality and attentive service. Our room had a beautiful ocean view. We found the food to be exceptionally good with a great variety to choose from. The resort was kept spotless. All the staff were great but a few stood out for us. Chef Eduardo Mokul, Chef Guillermo Lopez and Noe Mendez in the buffet area treated us royally for the seven days ending with a special farewell dinner for us. Receptionist Melissa Guzman and Alberto Sanchez, pool concierge, made for an exceptional stay.

Since we eat and drink a lot at Paradisus, we also try to hit the gym almost every day that we are here. This is our second time back, and we LOVE Martin, the personal trainer! He was a great instructor and really worked us hard, but still made it fun. He gets us moving at the right level for our fitness and a class with him would be super expensive in North America! Can't wait to see him again! Kari
