Pedro at Seasons Restaurant was absolutely amazing. Super clean, very respectful, and always had a big smile on his face. He made really good drinks for us and kept our water topped up without us even asking. He even took a picture of my girlfriend and me, and honestly made the whole dinner feel so enjoyable and romantic. Such a great example of lovely Mexican culture and hospitality. Thank you Pedro — you made our night!

Just a 30 min ride from airport to hotel. The hotel needs a facelift on exterior but not horrible. The rooms were spacious and clean. Being a smaller resort, wasn't extreme to go back and forth if you needed to. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was great. Bathrooms were kept clean and fully stocked. The 3 a la carte restaurants were great. Food was delicious. Buffet was decent but really missed not having an omelette bar (only the "elite" could actually order or you had to pay extra). Attention in the buffet was lacking for coffee or water refills but not a huge issue unless you are needy :). They seemed to cater to their "elite" clients but we definitely weren't wanting for much so the added expense really didn't seem worth it. There is a sports bar on the 6th floor however, it closed at 8 pm so really didn't get much use of it other than grabbing a quick bevy on our way back to our room. It is the lobby area of the 6th floor and it is heavily scented for those that are scent sensitive. Our favourite staff: Lorenzo !!! from the restaurants - such as sweet, fun guy. Really went the extra mile. "Fancy Francy" in Bar One - the BEST Espresso Martini's - in fact anything she made, was amazing and she was always cheerful and a pleasure to see everyday. Her counterpart Viktor was also great ! Fausto: pool and beach service - always a pleasure. Miguel and Gabrielle at concierge were always smiling and helpful. Juan from the entertainment team - sweet sweet ! The beach was beautiful but the ocean was ANGRY every day. Red flag always and the waves could be violent. Chewed us up and spit us out a few times. The pool areas are nice but very loud with the speakers and entertainment teams doing their thing so if quiet time is what you are looking for, the beach is the place to be. Overall, we enjoyed our week at Sandos and if you choose to go here, hope you do also.
