We had a horrific experience from start to finish (rooms, dining, bars, entertainment). The food is subpar in most locations (besides Ollio and Dragons). All the food tasted as if it was re-heated and put back out dry. Inedible. In-room dining service was beyond terrible with cold food being served and us told that this is normal when they are busy. That is precisely what you want to hear at a five start establishment. I could go on, but honestly, this hotel being a 5 star is a joke. Imagine a 3.5 star hotel and make sure you adjust your expectations appropriately.

Very luxurious place to stay not far from "downtown" for shopping. The rooms are spacious and offer everything you need. I don't think the whole place could get any cleaner. Any outside music, parties, or noise was immediately stopped by 10pm. The concierge was so helpful anytime we needed and all the amenities were great! Great food and activities!

The property was very attractive and the Preferred Club room was amazing. While the property was built as a W hotel in 2012, the interiors looked fresh and the bars and restaurants were definitely on point with their interior design. The breakfast buffet was a stellar selection of local dishes, and standard dishes with an added flair. The Peruvian restaurant, Sea Salt, expanded my palate in the best ways, and the Italian restaurant, Nebiollo, had interesting twists that made Italian food more interesting. The bars weren't extensively stocked, but there were still gems on the shelf to try out. The bartenders were great mixologists. While check-in and housekeeping had its wobbles, it reminded me of being on a Princess Cruise with the upscaled Princess Preferred package.

location is great, 20 min from airport, the environment was wonderful, rooms spacious but becoming dated and furniture is also becoming worn. Place is kept very clean and it is a great value for the money. We stayed in the Preferred Junior suite oceanfront, but basically all the rooms are oceanfront to me because you can see the ocean from all the rooms. Very HOT in September and humidity you can cut with a knife. We stayed mostly indoors and rested. Service was spot on, they make sure you have everything you need. If you go during July or August or September when it is hot, be sure to ask for a fan for your room because we were told it will not cool less then 73 degrees in your room.
