I have absolutely no bad words to say about this hotel. From the moment you're greeted with cold towels to the moment you leave it is honestly insane!! The rooms are so modern and clean and whether you are the lagoon or ocean side the views are still amazing. Every staff member made an effort with you and they were all so lovely. The preferred club is really nice and it's nice to have the option of going to a more relaxed pool. Vladimir in preferred club was amazing and made us feel right at home. Mike and Alex at the main pool bar were fun and were always happy to see you. Adrian was also really nice and helpful! All of the staff in general were just amazing. The food was soooo good and the buffet breakfast had so much choice! We were lucky enough to stay in a master suite and it was nicer than your average apartment! The technology was better than what I have at home, seriously! This is my third stay here and I have always absolutely loved this hotel. I would go back again and again :D

We had the pleasure of meeting a great gentleman, Arturo Esparza, he was in charge of the floor we were staying in, he treated us with great respect and the upmost curtesy!! It's a pleasure meeting good people and getting great service, especially on such a special occasion. Esparza was able to provide us any information we needed services and especially make all the arrangement to order me roses, chocolate strawberries and wine, while we were out, so I could surprise my wife. This is a great resort with great Staff, and I wish we would have been able to extend our stay, Esparza contacted his Supervisor and they worked till the last minute to give us an option to make accommodations but, we were not able to change our flight. Thank you, Arturo Esparza.

My husband took me to Secret's The Vine to celebrate my 28th birthday. Daniel from the 23rd floor made our experience there absolutely amazing and comforting. He managed to help us get a room sooner than our check-in time which was amazing because we landed at 6:45 am and were extremely tired. Our room was decorated with balloons before we walked in for the first time and even on the day of my birthday! He had champagne waiting for us with a beautiful view of both the ocean and the lagoon. He took the time always to make sure we had everything we needed, our room was always stocked, and our hands never empty(always a drink!) Rodrigo from the Piano Bar was absolutely amazing! And so were his drinks! Every morning for breakfast at The Market Café Yusef, Cesar, and Efrain always made our morning that much better. They made us feel like we were royalty. Honestly! We would be waiting in line and by the time it was our turn to be seated they had our favorite drink waiting for us (Ojo Rojo) and freshly squeezed orange juice for my husband's screwdriver. At one point during our breakfast we asked where we can get good shrimp cocktails and Cesar says give me on moment I'll be right back and returns with the chef! The chef says come back during lunch and we'll have it made for you, we did and it was absolutely amazing!!! Cesar walked us over to our table and again he had our favorite drinks waiting for us, chef walks out and personally delivers us our shrimp cocktails- absolutely delicious! The drinks at every bar and restaurant were so good. Every night while we waited to be seated for dinner we waited at their bars and the bartenders were so friendly and amazing at what they do. The service we got throughout our stay was absolutely amazing and I can't wait to return again! I hate to end it in a sour note, but the only one thing I did complain about during my stay was when we went to Nebbiolo Ristorante for dinner on my birthday, when we were seated our waiter asked if we were interested in purchasing a bottle of wine(side note: there was no pressure or them pushing us to buy anything) we said yes we love Moscato, so he brought us a bottle of Coppo Moscato d'Asti Mocalvina which by the way was amazing, we finish dinner and pay $55. We gave them our coupons that were given in the beginning of our stay only to be told we cannot use them because the wine was already "a special price"!(The bottle really is a $12-$16 bottle) so why give coupons if we can't use them?!

My wife and I recently returned from our second trip to the Secrets the Vine Cancun. The resort is still incredible and continues to exceed our expectations. At check-in we were upgraded to a Master Suite Ocean View and the room was incredible! Our balcony was massive and the room was amazing. It got a little warm in the afternoon, but if you pull the sheer curtain closed, it kept the room comfortable. The food at the resort is still amazing. We were at the resort for five nights and went to Dragons twice! The food there is amazing. My favourite is the sushi. They have a beef sushi (I think it was called "the Vine especial") and it is amazing. The Pad Thai is also good along with the green chicken curry. The other restaurants are also very good. The service continues to impress. Karla was a pool side waitress and took fantastic care of us. She would often bring us drinks without us asking when she saw us getting low. There is also a pool side menu that is quite good. We ordered the fajitas a couple of times and they were tasty. You can also order things that are not on the menu (like chips, guacamole, salsa, etc). Emiliano with the activities staff is a hilarious. He takes great care in ensuring that guests are having fun. The room cleaning staff is also fantastic. She left us fun little surprises in our room and brought me ice regularly (I asked for it the first couple of nights, after which she started just bringing it for me without asking :) The beach was very clean. There has been seaweed on the beach for our last couple trips to Cancun and the Mayan coast. However, there was very little to be seen on this trip. We also had a blast jumping in the waves on the sandbar in front of the resort. One tip - the sunscreen available at the resort was not the highest quality. There is a pharmacy directly across the street where you can purchase sunscreen and other items. They had a larger selection at better prices. I recommend that you pay in pesos for your purchases here as they do not give a great USD exchange rate. I.e. sunscreen was USD$19 or 320 pesos. The current exchange is roughly 19 pesos for every USD so paying in pesos saves you 10%+ (this is also true for excursions, etc). We love this resort and can't wait to go back! It has a great atmosphere and fantastic service. We highly recommend this resort! If you are thinking about going to this resort... stop waiting! Book immediately!

It is so wonderful to be able to return to a vacation spot being confident that you will have a fabulous vacation! Thanks to all the staff at Secrets The Vine - we enjoyed our second stay just as much if not even better than our first. We really believe it because the staff are so kind and accommodating to all of your needs. The food was fabulous and we probably enjoyed the Asian restaurant the best . . . although we never had a "bad" meal at all. You can't go wrong with this hotel - great rooms, wonderful pools, and the poolside service was excellent.
