Secrets The Vine Cancun

My experience was great. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, service was second to none. We upgraded to the Preferred Club which we thought was worth it. When we entered the hotel, we were greeted and somehow they new my name and immediately took my bags. We were always able to get seating at the preferred pool. The other pool areas and beach can get pretty crowded. We were fortunate that there was no sargassum/seaweed when we there. The views of the beach were amazing. Everyone who worked at the resort went above and beyond what was expected. Special shout out to Alejandro at the Bluewater Grill. He is the best server I have ever experienced. Tipping is not required at this resort, but anyone who received tips seemed to greatly appreciate it. This is very different than in the US where even if you tip 18-20%, the server still expects more while giving the impression that they are doing you a favor getting you water or soda refills. I was not expecting much with the food, but it exceeded my expectations. However, try to stay away from room service food which was awful. The pasta was tasteless and the pizza was not edible. I love pizza, and this was one of the few times in my life I only took a few bites of it. There was entertainment every night from the piano bar, live cover bands, a cabaret night, etc. This was good enough for us, but if you're looking to really party, you will need to go outside the hotel. This week long stay was just what I needed for a vacation and would recommend Secrets the Vine to others.

TLDR: Awesome hotel. Go there. You won't regret it. They run a tight ship. The staff is so sweet and kind. The food is excellent. The rooms are wonderful. The beachfront is stunning. What's not to love?

Hotel smell like seer, outside restaurant we had to move cause the smell was really bad Entertainment was great at night but during the day no music around the pools & when there was it was very mellow Food was great Staff friendly

Wonderful resort with nice rooms, great bed, Preferred Club level/Concierge Sebastian, and separate rooftop pool was awesome/quiet, great food/service all around, fantastic nightly entertainment.

100% will be back! I visited Secrets the Vine last week for about 5 days. I shared a room with my mom and it was more than enough space. We had a preferred Ocean Front Room. The preferred status is worth it because you get a private concierge daily as well as access to the 12th floor which has upgraded liquor and food. Our concierge team included Eduardo, Aldo, and Stephano. I also spoke with Alejandra from time to time. They were all exceptional, but Eduardo really went above and beyond constantly. The room was beautiful, and the food was really good. There were also so many activities. We did water aerobics, karaoke, tequila tasting, guacamole classes etc. Such a wonderful team. We loved the energy of Johnny. Thank you so much to the entire staff!
