The hotel facility is nice and most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, it’s a steep price for being in a constant upsell situation at every turn. The check-in was sadly ended with a long interview that put us in line for a sales pitch with the Hyatt Vacation Club. Not a timeshare, but very similar feeling. They promised 90 minutes, but the entire experience took more than 3 hours in total and we didn’t get to enjoy the cabana all day (which we paid extra for). Beyond that, the meals were also upsell negotiations and annoying. The pools were not heated. It’s hard to get a pool chair if you aren’t there before 9 AM. Everyone vacates the pools by 5 PM (no one swimming at night). The laundry service was insanely expensive (washing 4 outfits cost me $85 USD). On the upside: The food was good, especially at Dragons. The private chef’s tasting experience was my favorite highlight. Being adults-only was nice. I would probably try a different hotel brand outside of Hyatt for the next trip.

My company mostly went to relax and spend time together. The resort was so great that I didn't even need to leave! I got all my take home gifts, ate, and drank there... tons of variety. Relax or exciting entertainment-- it was all so good. I am hoping to return with my husband there. And that spa! Don't just do a mini facial or massage. Spend some HOURS there. Your face and body will thank you!

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a cold towel and champagne. Check-in was seamless and simple, and we were able to upgrade to a Preferred Club room for a very reasonable amount. Room was large and comfortable with amazing views. Nice room features: plentiful closets and clothing storage; double sinks and very large open bathroom; separate watering closet; large walk-in double shower with rain shower head; large king plush bed; Nespresso coffee; bar fridge stocked daily; free bottle of alcohol spirit for the room; large patio with comfortable seating; large sitting area with comfortable couch and chairs; smart lighting; room was perfect temperature any time of the day; no privacy on the balcony. Cleaning service and concierge never failed to please; Loved the daily grill set-up by the poolside daily, food available at poolside bar and food service available through waiters; 4 separate beautiful pools (including 2 infinity) with lots of seating but can be difficult to get chairs (ask men in white shirts to help obtain seating for you), however, beach is gorgeous soft sand and lots of seating and drink/food service available; no swim-up bar but pool service was excellent; loved how many of the lounge chairs sit inside large sections of the pools; entertainment is available in many spots, by the pool is perfect - not too loud, classy, chill and fun, intermittent with lots of nice quiet periods, and changes daily; piano bar is the dance/nightclub on site, and main lobby bar has daily musicians and grand piano players. Loved the free daily wine tastings (specialty tastings available for a fee). Absolutely love having a hot tub available and even better that it was beside the ocean. We love to party and have a great time, but also cherish our downtime and this hotel served both those purposes very well. We didn't try the steakhouse because of bad reviews from other guests, but went to all other restaurants and Dragon twice. All the food was mostly close to excellent, otherwise very good and 24/7 free room service menu using an Ipad by your bedside was thoroughly enjoyed many times. We plan to visit again, but like to try other resorts. We did not have enough time to experience the spa, but it looked absolutely amazing... prices are much higher than spas in Canada so we opted out this time. We went to Taboo nightclub outside of the resort which is very close and that was a fabulous time on the waterfront. We expected more attendance at the sports bar, but it was usually quiet. We attended the New Year's Eve gala $600 USD included a bottle of Dom Perignon, multiple singers and shows all evening long and it was a 6-course meal but seemed a little high in price considering it's an all inclusive resort, but we were still very pleased we attended. Before midnight we went back to our 25th floor and we were able to catch all the fireworks along the Hotel Zone for miles and miles and that was a real treat!

Truly wonderful vacation experience! All staff & servers were always smiling and happy to help! They made checkin in a breeze.. didn’t even have to go to a front desk line! Not to mention we were picked up at the airport and transported to our resort. The room was always clean and freshened up daily,, including the bed being turned down every evening with water and chocolate mints left at bedside. Our concierge, Sebastian was always available and willing to help make sure we had everything we wanted or needed during our stay. Our coffee barista, Kembley had a smile painted on her face I think.. and remembered our order by the 2nd visit! The vacation was one we’ll always remember! Thank you all! The Foster’s
