Overall a great experience
The resort was top notch in most areas: clean, staff attentive and gracious to clientele, excellent food, warm pool and jacuzzi. Lighting systems in rooms were a challenge; poor unreliable system. We were not allowed to use umbrellas for shade at the beach or the pool if there was even a hint of wind — this was ridiculous. Shade needed when its 28°C and no clouds in the sky. Overall we were very pleased, though we also paid top dollar.

The "Secret" is out...AVOID!
AVOID at all cost. They SCAM you at every turn with one UPCHARGE after another (i.e. must buy two bottles of VERY OVERPRICED mediocre wines to get a dinner table). The absolute worst "all-inclusive" resort anyone of our group of 8 had ever been to.

Everything was beautiful about this place and I can’t get over how wonderful the service was from the staff everyone is so kind polite and helpful!

Chairs issue needs to be addressed
Will write a more detailed review in a few days but overall beautiful and wonderful resort with great service that could immensely improve the guest experience if they put up a system for chairs. People “reserve” chairs at the pool and the beach with their hat/sunscreen at 8 am and then leave for hours. 95% of the chairs are unavailable all day because random items are left on them for when they decide to come back. Staff members should be able to clear up when unattended for 30 or 1 hour. Some people have no manners so a system should be put in place to avoid this.

Great vacation!
My husband and I had a great 8 night stay at Secrets The Vine last week. We are glad that we chose the to do preferred so that we could use the rooftop pool. Our room and all of the resort was beautiful and clean for our entire trip. Our concierge, Mauricio, was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed all of the restaurants we dined at. Olio for lunch was delicious and we enjoyed Dragons, Nebbiolo and Bluewater for our dinners. We both agree that we would happily return to Secrets The Vine in the future!
