Where to start, from the moment you set foot in this resort you receive 5 star service. Jamima our butler was incredible! The rooms are immaculate and the food absolutely beautiful. We could not fault this amazing place. I was here for my birthday and they totally went above and beyond to make it special. Please tip your waiters and butlers because they deserve every bit thank you secrets the vine we will definitely be back

My husband and I did the "Deal of Fortune" through and we were booked at Secrets the Vine. Having read through pages and pages of reviews on a couple different sites, we were nervous. While there were tons of positive reviews, there were also many negative reviews. You have to take them all with a grain of salt...someone is always going to have something to complain about. We were really disappointed when we checked in and had a room with two queen beds, having requested a king. Of course, we could have upgraded for an additional charge, but put our names on the wait list and took the room we were offered. Two days later, they had a room with a king and we moved...all we had to do, is ask. We had talked to a couple of people who had upgraded and like the reviews had said, they didn't feel it was worth the extra money. There was nothing we needed that we didn't get with the standard room. We did manage avoid the "VIP talk"...they stand by the main entrance or by the elevators, so just keep walking and looking straight ahead and you'll be fine. If you even remotely look like you don't know where you're going, they'll pounce. Some really good tips, besides the high numbered sunscreen (WAY TOO many lobsters walking around!!!): Tips are optional, but these guys bust their butts for us so it wouldn't hurt to bring an extra $100 in singles to show your appreciation. Bring a cheap floatie, they don't have any, except on the 12th floor in the VIP pool, you can always pass it on before you leave, to someone else. Bring your Yetti to keep your drinks cold at the pool or beach...shout out to Jorge, the BEST waiter EVER at the pool. Dinner time waits for a table were longer, the later we went. Peak time was 8:30-9:30pm. When sitting on the beach, you will be approached non-stop by peddlers. They cannot go up into the pool area so if this stuff bothers you, get in the water or stay by the pool. Also, we read a ton of reviews where people complained about the beach chair saving. Yes, people did go out and put their towels and stuff down, but we were always able to get chairs, and moved when something better came open. The resort also sent out a request in the daily message that was delivered with chocolates, to not do that. All the food was AMAZING! I'm a very picky eater but was always able to find something to suit my tastes. The portions are small, but there's apps and desert so order away! Gustavo was our friendly lobby bar bartender and was a HOOT! Loved sitting at the bar enjoying his great sense of humor. Dante did an amazing job setting up the games each day at the pool...wish we could have gotten in on the jumbo jenga at least once but missed it every day! LOL! The whole entertainment team made sure we always knew what was going on, when and where! We used Amstar for our airport transfers and everything went without a hitch. We were able to see the sea turtles come up on the beach at night, to lay their eggs. They would come out closer to midnight. If you'd like to take pictures, learn how to use your SLR camera manually as you won't get a very good picture with your iPhone and cannot use a flash as it'll scare the turtle. In all honesty, there isn't a thing I can complain about, except the time went way too fast!

Well we have just left secrets the vine and must say it was an amazing 10 days in 5* luxury we stayed in the 21st floor which is part of the preferred club we were looked after by our butler Orlando, all the staff are always on hand for your every need the rooms are amazing and kept clean and tidy all throughout the hotel is the same. Their is plenty choice of food in the restaurant's although some of it not to our liking I wouldn't say it was bad I understand different nationalities like different things and it's a case of finding out what you like and what restaurants best suits you. This was a one off holiday for our honeymoon and I really can't fault it at all, our honeymoon meal on the beach was brilliant and recommended to anybody that visits. I just hope my wife doesn't expect me to run about after her when we are home like the staff at secrets did. If we get a chance of a kid free holiday again we would go back without hesitation

When my friend told me how nice is the hotel. I did not believe him until I saw it myself. It was a exceptionally beautiful. All inclusive food and beverages. With food there are so many choices to choose from, my favorite is the sea food. Dessert is just ok, appealing but like I said taste is just ok . We had a room service too for late evening snack . It was awesome. There are plenty of pools to relax. The gym with ellipticalls machines are place fronting the beach giving us a great view. This hotel will not disappoint you well except for some desserts. Opps before I forget they serve good chocolate cookies too by the bar inside the hotel. Its worth a try.
