Secrets The Vine Cancun

100% will be back! I visited Secrets the Vine last week for about 5 days. I shared a room with my mom and it was more than enough space. We had a preferred Ocean Front Room. The preferred status is worth it because you get a private concierge daily as well as access to the 12th floor which has upgraded liquor and food. Our concierge team included Eduardo, Aldo, and Stephano. I also spoke with Alejandra from time to time. They were all exceptional, but Eduardo really went above and beyond constantly. The room was beautiful, and the food was really good. There were also so many activities. We did water aerobics, karaoke, tequila tasting, guacamole classes etc. Such a wonderful team. We loved the energy of Johnny. Thank you so much to the entire staff!

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, spotless and very stylish. The staff were incredibly attentive and kind. There was a lovely wine-tasting table in the lobby, offering different wines of various qualities to sample – such a nice touch! There were several restaurants available to book, all of them excellent, especially Blue Water Grill and Olio. Room service was top-notch; we absolutely loved the hot chocolate that was served in our room every afternoon. The price was a bit higher than other hotels, but it was truly worth it for the quality and experience.

Beautiful property. Great staff and service. Jr king ocean view suite on preferred level very spacious and comfortable. Huge balcony. Preferred level upgrade is definitely worth the cost. The only negative is the vacation club aka time share push. they are quite persistent. They make things very confusing by slipping notes under your door reminding you to stop by the VIP desk to “activate” resort credits that are already included with your stay for discounts for spa, upgraded bottles of wine, romantic dinners that don’t need to be activated. They present you with their resort credits that are higher discounts to get you to listen to a 90 min sales presentation. You have to convince them you’re not interested in before they will give you the $200 in discounts for spa, upgraded that Hyatt Secrets give you.

Yovani from the dining buffet was so kind and friendly! As the rest of the staff. The hotel is beautiful and well located. Their downfall is the horrible smell of sewer all over the lobby, hallways and the top floors. The gym was the most smelly of them all , my friend almost threw up. The restaurants had good ok but the service was super slow. All areas were clean and in Good condition. The shows were good as well as the food. I won’t come back to this hotel because of the horrible smell situation.

I had a great experience here. Everything was clean, activities were fun. And the staff was really nice. I went to breakfast daily at Market Cafe. Michelle, Nicole, Patricia, Pedro, and Jose were amazing there. I would absolutely recommend Secrets to others. It was a beautiful experience.
