Winter get away.
Overall we are satisfied with our trip to The Secrets The Vine resort. It is an upscale resort with plenty of restaurants, pools/spa and good access to the beach. It has vegan/vegetarian food options also but we would like to see more variety. Lobby is nice. Rooms are large and provided with all usual amenities.

Not as good as it has been in the past!!
This was our second time here. Last year, the food at the main outside grill was much better. They had grilled chicken and other more favorable dishes. Additionally, last year they rotated what was available making it more enjoyable. Most disturbing tho, there was nearly no entertainment offered at the main bar. Last year there was live entertainment every night where dancing and mingling was available. This place really does not offer any entertainment considering it's a gated resort.

Incredible resort! Amazing people, food, and location.
My husband and I just got back from an incredible time a Secrets the Vine Cancun! We were there 4 nights, and it was just perfect. The facility is gorgeous, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, the standard room was very comfortable, very clean, and had a beautiful view of the bay and the ocean. We ate at all the dinner restaurants and the food at each one was delicious! The breakfast buffet had so much selection, it really made it hard to choose what to get. There was a good variety of activities throughout the day and entertainment in the evening, but nothing to loud and crazy. If I had to be critical, I would say I was surprised that the towels/washcloths/bathrobes in the rooms were a little scratchy. Also, it was hard to find open seats by the pool and beach, but I know that's a common problem because people save them so early. The only food that wasn't incredible was the room service eggs benedict. I sampled several cocktails and wines throughout the weekend and they were all delicious! I will definitely be recommending Secrets the Vine to my family & friends for a beautiful luxury stay in Cancun.

Wonderful 5 days with great food, service and pools
Great hotel- clean and efficient with too notch service. Food options are varied and each meal was delicious and presented well. Exceeded my expectations. High rise is different than other resorts I’ve been to, but pools and restaurants and overall layout don’t make you claustrophobic.
