Secrets The Vine Cancun

This was my husband's and my third Secrets resort and favorite! I highly recommend upgrading to preferred club for this one for the private pool access and bar on the 21st floor and preferred lunch options. They had incredible espresso martinis and carajillos at the preferred bar which became our daily pre dinner ritual. We are gym people, and we also enjoyed the fitness center for a variety of machines and options overlooking the ocean. The restaurant variety was excellent, and the evening entertainment was a lot of fun. The final day they served fresh tuna up poolside and that was our meal highlight. It was completely unexpected and incredible! We were pleasantly surprised by our stay!

Wonderful hotel, very good food in the all inclusive package, club level rooms are gorgeous, rooftop club level pool area is spectacular, all the staaff are so helpful and attentive... Our second time here as we wanted to celebarte our wedding anniversary with them.

This is the fourth visit there and our second visit this year alone. We were there in January also and have just got back home. The hotel keeps getting better and better each time. The food, drinks are amazing. The weather was absolutely glorious, sunny all day every day, we couldn’t have asked for better weather which made the stay even better. Special thanks must go to: Willian and Rosa at Oriol restaurant who served us breakfast each day, they are so friendly and chatty and they really make an effort with the guests and everyone loves them. Benjamin at the 12th floor pool for looking after us, he is great! Michelle, now based at the Sea Salt restaurant is our favourite! She is always so happy, chatty and smiley and she really makes our vacations better, she was outstanding yet again, so helpful and warm hearted, the hotel would be a lot worse off without her, we love her and thanks to Michelle for making our stay amazing again. The Vine Bar - Armando who was a great bar tender and also Nedelfia who was so happy, smiley and chatty with us, she was really lovely and we enjoyed chatting with her, she is also a great bar tender! There were some great bands and singers in the evening. Special thanks also to Juan who was our waiter at the main pool, he was really great and very attentive. The one think that was different this time that we haven’t found before is that if you didn’t get to the pools early you would struggle for sunbeds. We have never had this before at the hotel. I would get down to the pools before 7am if you want a good spot. Overall we loved this place yet again, there is no other hotel in Cancun that we would even consider. We miss the place and want to go back! We will see you all again next year for what will be another amazing vacation! Thank you Secrets of the Vine!

We had a wonderful time. The staff is able and ready to assist. The premises were fantastic. The gym was better than your standard resort and clean.

This is our 4th visit to the resort. Check in was easy and quick with champagne upon arrival. The overall property is beautiful, very clean, some sargassum on the beach but every morning they work to clear as much as they can. Rooms are very nice with beautiful views, ask for a higher floor if available, beds are comfortable and you can control the a/c as you like. Breakfast buffet has a great selection of fresh fruits, you can order fresh omelet made to your liking and all the other basic breakfast foods. Ask to be seated in Manolo or Adrian's section. They will provide excellent service. We enjoyed dinner at Olio a few times. We had filet mignon cooked perfectly. Shout out to Marcial for his excellent service. We also tried Sea Salt grill for something different other than buffet at lunch and that was very good. Thanks to Willian and Rudolfo who served us. If you like sushi, Dragons has a good selection of rolls and sashimi. Service was excellent from Alfredo. We spent all day at the pool by Manatees and IBeth and Roberto were awesome. They made sure we had a drink in our hands all day, even when we were in the pool. We were disappointed with the lack of daily activities as my daughter was looking forward to it. Our last visit to The Vine , the entertainment team was awesome. They kept everyone involved with activities and made it a fun trip for us. This time the entertainment staff were not very social. They did not let guests know when activities were happening and when asked about it, they didn't seem to know themselves, or care or just plain did not enjoy their jobs. On the other hand the entertainment that the resort provided in the evening lounges and bars were excellent if you enjoy live music. Melissa, her bands and dancers were awesome. They did a 70s show as well as a Rock show and a tribute to female singers from the 90s. Overall, a great vacation.
