Just visited again and this time the second week of December. We stayed on the 24th floor in one of the best units with an amazing balcony and views from 3 sides! Once again we were blown away by the service and cleanliness of this resort! But I think what I love the most since I have traveled to many all - inclusive resorts in the Caribbean is the service on the beach! Because isn't this why we came to this beach destination?? Upon entering the beach, there is always someone to help get your lounge, position it perfectly with umbrella, put your towels down and make certain you always have a drink in your hand! But beyond the beaches, the restaurants are excellent! I love the Japanese sushi restaurant (Dragons), while my husband loved Nebbiolo for the steaks! Room service isn't very fast, usually a 45 minute to an hour wait. We chose only to do breakfast and early evening appetizers. The security of this resort must be recognized too because not once did we feel like we had to worry about anything! We will definately be a repeat customer!!

My daughter and I stayed at the Secrets of the Vine from Jan 2 -8. This place is amazing! The food is awesome, the rooms are beautiful, and the staff is top notch. This hotel surpasses my expectations. The service , the cleanliness, the food, the attention to details...and of course the entertainment staff. They were wonderful. We loved them all but we particularly enjoyed Alonso, Valeria, Luis and Bernie. And my favorite bartender by far was Ray. He made my Bloody Mary just the way I liked it. Would definitely go back!!!

We just got back from a week at Secrets, The Vine. We can't say enough about the food options and the service. The weather was amazing and an adult only vacation is exactly what we had hoped for. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The balcony was nice and wide with cushioned seating.

We have stayed at other Secrets and Dreams resort properties and just had to share how impressed we were with Secrets the Vine property. We have come to expect a great customer experience whenever we've visited the AM Resorts properties, but we found that this property went above even what we had come to expect. The menus and food were spectacular - great presentation, options and taste. The Market Cafe has a great variety of food options for Lunch and Breakfast. We were served by Abiel, who was such a wonderful representative of the Secrets brand. He was personable and happy. In addition he was happy to help us with spanish phrases. Such a wonderful start to each morning to be greeted by someone who is genuinely happy that you are there. We were also impressed with Sergio in Dragons. Again, so genuine and personable. We were served by a Boris (I believe that was his name) at the Italian restaurant and he was also wonderful. He found that we loved risotto and actually brought a risotto out for our table to try that will be featured on a future menu. The people that work at this resort make the experience. It is a beautiful property, clean and aesthetically pleasing, but when those who work there go out of their way to make your experience as fantastic as possible, that is when you know you've found a great place to vacation. We will be happy to return to this location as well as recommend it to others.

Had a great stay here at Secrets The Vine and loved every minute of it! Luis, our butler, went well over and beyond to ensure we had the best stay one could have. The food was amazing, the views are beautiful, so many nightly activities to keep you entertained and the staff was phenomenal. Preferred status is highly recommended. My only dislikes were 1) The bed was so firm my first two nights I felt like I was sleeping on a glass table. Luis came to the rescue with some kind of matress pad to go over the bed, and it helped - a little bit. I appreciated the effort but they need options for those who can't sleep on such extreme firm surfaces. And secondly, all the food was fantastic but I wouldn't recommend any Ribeye's from the Bluewater Grille. The atmosphere was nice and the service was fantastic. But the meat was way too chewy and fatty to consume. Ask anyone who ate there that night. Other than that it was a trip to be remembered and I'm sure we'll be back as often as possible!
