Resort was about 65% occupied and did seem busy. The chair game is real here and you have to get up early, like 715am to mark your spot which I don’t like. There are not beach or pool attendants that greet you and help you set so you are sort of on your own. But once settled in is enjoyable. Nice poolside activities and f&b activations throughout the day. We loved Eduardo at the pool on the tequila and sangria cart. Chivel on the club floor was attentive and was in good communication with me. He helped to arrange a bday acknowledgment for my cousin at the steakhouse for her bday intro Mae her feel special. The beach is very small and there is no preferred section. If you are an ultra beach person this is not the place to go. We were just there for 3 nights so the pool was great but had it been our normal longer trip would have been disappointed not enjoying a beautiful beach. F&B was all good. Enjoyed the daily poolside lunch buffet. Saturday was especially good with all the grilled seafood. Steakhouse and Italian were both memorable and Fantastic . The service team in both were attentive and fun. The Saturday night poolside show was fantastic. Very talented entertainment group and the lead singer sang for 2 hours! The dancers were so fun with multiple outfit changes. 24 hour coffee bar is clutch! Preferred lounge is a bit lackluster compared to others. Only 4 tables inside so it gets overwhelmed quickly at peak times. But the preferred pool was great view. Room on floor 23 had a great view of the bay and ocean. Was very spacious and clean. Felt totally safe at all times Used Travicons for car service and they were excellent as always I would return here for a quick weekend but will save my longer trips for some non hotel zone luxury hotels as I have done in the past

We are currently finishing our stay Secrets The Vine. Pros: It was a quick & inexpensive getaway. We booked 5 days 4 nights preferred ocean view for $2,800. The food at every restaurant has been excellent which is impressive considering all inclusive are hit or miss on food! I highly recommend the chefs table experience and the private dinner table at Olios under the cabana to watch the sunset. This is a smaller resort with not as much of the entertainment as we’re used to, but that wasn’t a priority this time around. We wanted to recharge, eat good food, drink, get some sun and relax . My husband usually complains about the drinks at all inclusive resorts, but the drinks here are actually yummy, you can taste the alcohol! The top shelf margarita with 1800 is the way to go. The weather has been great and the service at secrets never disappoints. The Spa was also a great experience! Cons: There is a stinch in the lobby of the hotel, but thankfully it doesn’t travel to the rooms, spa or restaurants. The hotel right now is 90% sold and you can feel how crowded it is during the day at the pool. It is tough to get pool chairs. My husband had to be down there to claim chairs at 7:00am which i think is a bit ridiculous and even that early there were limited options. The beach area is not the big private beach area we’re used to. The resort has a smaller section of chairs that are a bit worn and a volleyball net, but it is next to a public beach access and there are people coming and going all day. The people using the public access have zero respect for the resort guests and they set up their chairs in front of all the hotel guests. The beach is not quiet and secluded like the nicer, bigger resorts we typically stay at. Overall it checked our boxes for this trip that we planned last minute and again food has been fabulous!

This was my 3rd visit. While the hotel is starting to show slight signs of aging, it still has a very classy vibe and the service is excellent (thank you Manolo and Cesar).
