Secrets The Vine Cancun

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Secrets The Vine Cancun, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with stunning ocean views, modern rooms, and a relaxing, upscale atmosphere that makes it perfect for a getaway. What truly made the stay exceptional, however, was the level of service throughout the property. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A standout experience was dining at the Sea Salt restaurant. The team there—Michelle, Roberto, William, and Chef Gerardo—provided outstanding service from start to finish. Their attention to detail, warm hospitality, and coordination as a team made the evening feel special and effortless. Chef Gerardo’s dishes were not only beautifully presented but also full of flavor, showcasing real culinary expertise. It’s rare to find a place where both the accommodations and the service align so perfectly. Secrets The Vine Cancun delivers on both, and the Sea Salt team is a true reflection of the hotel’s commitment to excellence. Highly recommended, and I look forward to returning soon

Third visit to this wonderful hotel. Excellent restaurants and staff. Team Olid were superb especially Rosa and William. Bar tender Roberto extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait for our 4th visit to come around.

This is a wonderful, clean resort. In my opnion, the Preferred Club Level was great. A bit pricey, but well worth it. The location of my room on the 21st floor was excellent. From the balcony I could see the lagoon and the beach. The room was spacious and clean. It was a bit noisy due to the loud music playing at the next resort (The Sandos). Usually the music ended by the evening time or early nighttime. The service from the Concierge was excellent. The food at the Market Cafe at lunchtime had vegetarian options but I wished it had more Mexican vegetarian options. Breakfast at the Olio was excellent. The Preferred Club pool was great but it did close early at 6:00pm. I wish this resort offerred non motorized water activities like kayaking. We did take public bus transportation in The Hotel Zone. It was safe and the bus drivers did speak a little English. Overall you will not regret staying at this resort.

It was our first time in Cancun, and we were so happy we chose this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing, and having several restaurants on-site made it easy to try different types of cuisine, which we really enjoyed. The room looked exactly like in the pictures, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. There was entertainment every day, so we were never bored and always had something fun to do. Overall, it was a truly unforgettable experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year.

The hospitality was outstanding. The staff was always warm, friendly and gracious. We stayed on the 23rd floor which is considered the preferred customer room. The view was so beautiful. We actually spent much of our time on the balcony relaxing. The room was very outstanding, extremely clean and met all our needs. Our concierge Mauricio was extremely attentive, professional, friendly, and respectful. Also the infinity pool attendant, Raquel was the most helpful and sweetest person. She was always making everyone comfortable at the pool, fixing their towels and moving their umbrellas. Outstanding! The food was mostly good accept the steakhouse. We have to be honest and say the steaks were not good. My T-bone was extremely grisly and tough on top of being lukewarm. My husband’s ribeye was also cold but a little more tender. Other than that, the restaurant food was good and the buffet was excellent! We would suggest making the buffet an option for dinner. The drinks were good if you stick to simple drinks. They were not made consistently from bar to bar. Our only real complaint was the music. The mixture of techno music was not enjoyable and at night the loud music from Hyatt mixed with the neighboring Hard Rock hotel was very unpleasant. For an all adult resort, we believe more Caribbean or cultural music would be more welcoming than loud repetitive techno music. With all said, these few negative things are certainly not deal breakers and we will absolutely be coming back.
