Secrets The Vine Cancun

We had a wonderful time at Secrets The Vine Cancun. The resort was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and we really enjoyed our stay from beginning to end. What made our experience especially memorable was the amazing service. Emmanuel and Aisha took great care of us throughout our stay and were always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel genuinely well taken care of. The food, drinks, pool, and overall atmosphere were all great, but the exceptional hospitality from the staff really stood out. Emmanuel and Aisha definitely made our trip even more special. We had such a great experience at Secrets The Vine and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Cancun. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

What an amazing experience here. My wife and I were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and the staff / resort made the celebration that much more special. Special shout outs: Jose, Aisha and Arturo at the preferred pool, Manuel + Yermi at the spa, Bruce our butler, And Jesus at the preferred pool!

The bad: Preferred Level is nothing more than the same suite/room on floor 26 or higher. We never saw our butler nor were there any perks over the standard room. The Preferred Pool is on the 21st floor and is surrounded by concrete walls; quite dismal. We used the standard pool and it was far better. The hotel is tired and in dire need of updating. It’s dark inside with a gas fireplace going constantly. Just not a beach hotel feel. Add that April through December are the seaweed months, the seaweed made it impossible to use the beach or swim in the Atlantic. Depth was 2-3 feet of seaweed and 100-200 feet from the beach out into the water. So the pool it was for us. The good: Housekeeping kept our Preferred ocean front Suite very clean and tidy the entire week and always came for turndown service. The coffee shop was great and the staff there was genuinely friendly and attentive. The servers at the bars and pools were very attentive and really did not hound anyone for tips. Just good service. Our supposed butler asked for my mobile number and we never saw them again. The entertainment was generally good except for the Mexican night fictional “traditional Mayan dancers” that went on forever. And the Elvis impersonator could have been skipped on Casino Night. We lived at the pool and I would say that we enjoyed both the steak house and Italian restaurants. The food was above average, but it’s an all-inclusive. Takeaways: get down to the pools early morning to reserve your lounge chairs and umbrella real estate for the day. The staff has towels rolled up and on the lounges by 5:00am so my suggestion is to get up early, grab a latte and claim your chairs for the day. They fill up fast.

We recently returned from a one-week stay in Cancun and had an overall wonderful vacation. Check-in & Service The check-in process felt a bit lacking in detailed orientation regarding resort amenities and schedules, but the front desk team remained warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout. Dining The restaurant selection was diverse, and the service across all venues was consistently good. The restaurants operate on a walk-in basis with no reservation system. My husband loved the flexibility of not having to book ahead, though I personally would have preferred the structure of reservations. Pools & Preferred Club We had Preferred Club access and checked out the Preferred pool, but we spent most of our time at the main pools. The main pool area is significantly larger and is where most of the daytime energy and activities happen. Activities & Entertainment The resort offers a fantastic variety of daily programming. A special shoutout to Emmanuel on the entertainment team—he was incredibly energetic, outgoing, and kind. When he learned we were visiting from Korea, he even made an effort to learn some Korean phrases, which made our experience feel truly personal. The evening shows were well-produced and varied throughout our seven-day stay. The highlights for us: * Silent Disco: High energy and a lot of fun. * Boy Band Show: Fantastic live vocals and performance. * Casino Night: Played with complimentary fake chips, making it a relaxed, pressure-free evening. The Cancun heat was intense during our trip, so we are already thinking about booking our next visit during a slightly cooler season.
