Mid tier at best. Resort is looking it’s age, food and bev below average. Service inconsistent, sometimes great and sometimes not. They promised us a 40% discount but we were charged the entire amount for upgrade to the preferred section. Extremely disappointing.

We just spent a week at Secrets The Vine in Cancun, and what a fabulous trip! From our very first interaction at the front desk, we had incredible service. The attendant who checked us in (I’m sorry I forgot his name!) did such a great job finding us the best available room based on our requests. The rooms are always immaculate and well-kept. My favorite touch is that there are always two sets of matching robes and slippers waiting for guests. It’s such a treat to have room service bring in breakfast as you sit on the balcony in your robe and watch the sunrise over the ocean. There are also beautiful birds that float across the sky. It’s very peaceful. The food here is excellent—high quality, delicious, and always presented beautifully. The breakfast buffet is unbelievable, with so much to choose from! We especially loved the made-to-order omelets with fresh guacamole and salsa, and the thick French toast fresh off the griddle. For dinner, both Dragons (the Asian restaurant with amazing sushi) and Nebbiolo (the Italian restaurant with yummy homemade pizzas) were highlights of our trip. Besides eating, some of our favorite activities included beach volleyball and water aerobics in the pool. Aisha was especially entertaining with her energy and dance routines—she also hosts a mean game of poolside Pictionary! The beach itself is amazing, with white sand that stays cool so your feet never burn. The water is warm, clear, and has gentle waves; we even had to sneak in one last swim the morning before we left. If you want a vacation of pure indulgence where you don't have a care in the world, surrounded by an attentive, friendly staff, this is the place to go!

We had a wonderful time at Secrets The Vine. The food was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. A special shout out to Augusto and Guadelupe at the Spa. They took very good care of us I recommend the luxe water therapy it was very relaxing. Also the market dinner staff. Angel our waiter and his supporting colleagues Wilder, Rodrigo, and Damian, as well as Ana the hostess. They made my wife's birthday truly memorable and fun.

Beautiful resort. Delicious food. Relaxing. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Friendly staff. Great for special occasions. Mature crowd. If you are looking for an energetic party vibe- look elsewhere, this is not the place for that.

We liked the resort as in service is great. Very clean & beautiful. Food is good, some places better than the others. The steakhouse was our favourite and the grill at the pool. There were a lot of stairs, but that wasn't a dealbreaker. We went in January but we will never go in January again. Maybe we just hit it at the wrong time for weather. We had mostly cloudy days and a lot of wind & rain. A lot of wind as in not being able to go to the beach and sit on the chairs. Sand was blowing . yuck. Mother Nature. It wasn't cold and we were in bathing suits all the time . It was a tad chilly if the winds were very high and we were by the pool We did have sun a couple days. Our concierge was wonderful. We did preferred. If we came back again, I don't think we would do preferred and pay that much money. Provolone cheese breaded ( soooo good) steak restaurant with roasted cauliflower was our favorite meal. Crème brule Vanancio Olis Beach guy Carlos was awesome. Jamie on rooftop pool service was very nice. We only did the pool top for half a day. Daniel at cabana was great. Jose making bracelets / water activities . He went out of his way to make bracelets for us to bring back to our family. Auturo pool guy was great at getting what we needed. Angel was such a nice human being. The drink ladies Lucy, Ruby, Ibeth , always a drink in hand. We always tipped everyone. Bruce was our concierge for the 7 days, ( others filled in when he was out ) they were all wonderful. Bruce went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. They all checked in a few times a day to see if we needed anything. If you want a good concierge, ask for Bruce Thank you to everyone who made our stay fantastic.
