Secrets The Vine Cancun

We recently returned from a one-week stay in Cancun and had an overall wonderful vacation. Check-in & Service The check-in process felt a bit lacking in detailed orientation regarding resort amenities and schedules, but the front desk team remained warm, welcoming, and friendly throughout. Dining The restaurant selection was diverse, and the service across all venues was consistently good. The restaurants operate on a walk-in basis with no reservation system. My husband loved the flexibility of not having to book ahead, though I personally would have preferred the structure of reservations. Pools & Preferred Club We had Preferred Club access and checked out the Preferred pool, but we spent most of our time at the main pools. The main pool area is significantly larger and is where most of the daytime energy and activities happen. Activities & Entertainment The resort offers a fantastic variety of daily programming. A special shoutout to Emmanuel on the entertainment team—he was incredibly energetic, outgoing, and kind. When he learned we were visiting from Korea, he even made an effort to learn some Korean phrases, which made our experience feel truly personal. The evening shows were well-produced and varied throughout our seven-day stay. The highlights for us: * Silent Disco: High energy and a lot of fun. * Boy Band Show: Fantastic live vocals and performance. * Casino Night: Played with complimentary fake chips, making it a relaxed, pressure-free evening. The Cancun heat was intense during our trip, so we are already thinking about booking our next visit during a slightly cooler season.

We recently stayed at Secrets the Vine. Our best experience was with the team at Nebbiolo for making our Anniversary dinner so special. Jorge our server was very attentive and decorated our table with rose petals and provided a great after dinner coffee service. Ariana, Michelle and Ivan also helped make us feel so welcome. If you are planning a trip make sure to enjoy dinner at Nebbiolo and ask if Jorge is available. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was great and the beach was nice, but there weren’t enough beach or pool chairs available. The beach chairs they did have were also in pretty poor condition and could definitely use replacing.

We returned home to Secrets The Vine for another awesome adventure. Over the years, the Vine has never disappointed and it did not on this occasion. Our stay got off to a great start when we got to see Hayekt at our check in. 💕 She set the tone for another amazing stay. We can’t forget our baggage service crew members Miguel and Ruben and our awesome butler Mauricio. Our early mornings always start with a specialty coffee and a delicious pastry from Enid and Ixchel at the Vine Café, we love to their smiling faces. The preferred lounge on the 21st floor also offer a nice selection of breakfast, snack and drink options. Preferred is the way to go. We selected to have room service breakfast on four mornings and the exceptional service was provided by Abiel Loeza, a true professional with an awesome personality. On our other mornings, we chose to have made to order omelettes and variety of other options on the buffet menu at the Market Café. Service was over the top provided by Cesar and it was great to see Mercedes. We chose to eat lunch around the pool with plenty of options from the buffet at the Sugar Reef Bar and Sea Salt restaurant. The dinner restaurants have a great selection on their menus. The service was excellent no matter which restaurant we dined at and everyone went out of their way to make sure our experience was enjoyable. We were surprised when Ethiel, the manager of the Market Cafe Restaurant, along with Manuel the chef, prepared an amazing dinner for us along with one of his special desserts. What a treat. And at the Dragons, chef Isidro continues to be awesome with his dinner preparations and of course, Jaun with his service. We enjoyed all the restaurants, but those two were our favorites. The Vine bartenders are the BEST!  A very special thank you goes out to Roberto, Alex, Luis, Danny Chang, Luis aka Cachetes, Salvador, Christian, they always had our drinks ready for us if we “bellied up” to the bar or were relaxing in a lounger. Felix, Luis, Darwin and Alejandro were always handy for any special request that we may have had, and they always made sure it happened. They have a top-notch staff that keeps things hopping from the first drink to the last. The service around the pools and beach areas continues to be excellent and nonstop, Not having a swim up bar did not interrupt the service at the pools. We spent most of sun time at the Manatee pool area. We always had a fresh drink in our hands and never had to wait. Special thanks to Veronica, Alberto, Norberto, Fernando and Roberto for keeping our thirst refreshed. We have become spoiled by the service we have received at the Vine over the years. From the time that you arrive until the time you leave, you feel nothing but love.  The entire staff up to the General Manager, Mr. Jean-Pierre Sorin, is there to ensure that your trip back home is the best experience you could have.
