Superb! The food is quality is like nothing I've ever experienced (e.g Spain, Greece). The sunbeds are the most comfortable, the room and bed the same. Very well staffed. You need anything, our lights stopped working.. fixes in 10 mins. Free room service. If we got give a percentage review mine would be 99% 🥰

Theres a lot of plusses to staying here. Food excellant, staff lovely, rooms nice. Minuses , as a Preferred customer, its near impossible to get into the Steak , asian, or italian restaraunt , without having to join a q and wait for a long time. The Mexican one wasnt great tbh. As its a large hotel we thought , sunbed situation will be fine. No! The preferred area, and other areas , not one sunbed has been free since we got here. People are owning beds at 6am , also beds are also empty for hours with towels on them. Mostly Americans here , so maybe thats the way they go. Beautiful clear sea, loads of seaweed though . Food , staff all great. Relaxations a huge thing esp after travelling a huge distance, so the sunbed thing , means we wont come back. X

Not known for bachelorettes, but we had a very nice time! Be aware that this is not a lush tropical resort - it's sleek and modern. Quiet and chill vibe, no large student groups that we saw. Older than us crowd for sure. It was either families with young adult children or couples in their 40s-70s. Great live music & a DJ at night. Definitely a classy, semi-formal vibe in the evenings, not as much linen/boho. The beach is nice with pretty blue water, though be prepared for wind depending on time of year. Food is generally very good. Breakfast buffet with lots of options. The snacks from the little café in the lobby were convenient but hit-or-miss in taste. Restaurants for dinner were consistently good, though you do need to wait a bit sometimes. We ate delicious fresh fruit with abandon and nobody got sick! Room was clean, with a nice balcony view of the ocean. Beds were nice. Housekeeping service was on top of things. The mini bar always had water bottles. I will say that I did not love the toilet/shower set up because you kind of feel like you're in a frosted glass display case (not ideal if you're travelling with friends). But that's a small qualm. Pools were close to the beach and the bar - the resort is very compact which makes it super convenient. Bring your own tumbler to keep drinks cool. I preferred using my own tumbler over drinking from the reusable plastic cups. Not sure if Preferred Club is needed - we had a nice time without it! It might be good to have a few more options for breakfast and lunch though. Very good for lounging and chilling. Service everywhere was good - they are hustling all the time. Tips were appreciated but not expected. Location is conveniently not far from the airport.

Love the property and the people. Fourth year staying the week after Christmas, already booking this year. Room attendant Cesar was the man. Just one of many good folks there. Thanks

My wife and I have traveled to secrets resorts in Mexico, at least 35 times over the years. They have always been exceptional. The customer service has always been amazing. Not this place. We were scheduled to arrive at this resort on February 25 and due to the unrest in Mexico and the travel warnings given by the US embassy including the Cancun area we attempted to change our reservation. We spoke to Delta vacations five times in the last 24 hours as well as directly with the resort reservation department and we were told to either accept the reservation and get on the plane and put ourselves in potential harms way or lose $4100 of our $6,000 reservation. We asked them for a credit to be used on a different vacation or to pushback the dates of our arrival at this resort to let things settle down in the area. We were denied both. We spoke directly to Diane at the reservations department at this resort she was absolutely nasty and could have cared less about the situation. In typical fashion, she lied about not having a supervisor and then lied that her supervisor was not around. Don’t tell me that there is not a resort manager on site at all times. This was handled as poorly as we’ve ever experienced. All they had to do was give us a credit towards a different date and there would’ve been no issues, but the greed these corporations displayed is disgusting.
