Overall, Secrets The Vine feels tired and in need of a remodel. The beds / linens, etc seemed old, and the air conditioning system needs a complete overhaul. Our biggest issue was the room temperature. Despite setting the thermostat to 65 degrees, the actual room temperature stayed around 76. For anyone who likes to sleep cold, the room felt warm, stuffy, and clammy. The staff did move us to an upgraded room, which was slightly better, but it still never got cold enough. We were told that “AC doesn’t work as well in Mexico as it does in the U.S.,” which was a frustrating explanation for a resort at this price point. That said, the service was excellent. Everyone was extremely friendly, accommodating, and genuinely tried to help, which ultimately allowed us to still have a great experience despite the issues with the property. The only other negative was the amount of seaweed, although I recognize that is completely outside the resort’s control. With a proper renovation, especially the rooms, beds, and air conditioning, this could be a fantastic resort. The people and service are already there; the property itself just needs to catch up.

This experience was the most relaxed I've ever been in my entire life. The entire stay was amazing. Beginning with the sparkling wine greeting all the way through our stay, it was fantastic. The room was outstanding on the 23rd floor. The preferred club granted access to the extra pool and restaurant. The service was fantastic, including the waitress at the pool. Room service was top-notch. We will gladly return.

We had a wonderful stay celebrating our wedding anniversary! The resort made us feel special by decorating our room, which was a thoughtful touch. The ambiance throughout the property is beautiful, and the fitness center is one of the best I've seen at an all-inclusive resort. The pool service was exceptional. The waitstaff constantly came around taking drink orders and delivering them quickly, and I especially appreciated the variety of delicious mocktails available throughout our stay. The biggest downside was the food. While breakfast was good, the overall food quality was average, and there seemed to be limited dining options for an all-inclusive resort. We were also disappointed by the constant upcharging—from the spa to other experiences around the resort. It took away from the relaxing, all-inclusive feel we were expecting. Overall, it's a beautiful resort with excellent service and amenities. If the food quality improved and the constant upselling was reduced, it would be an outstanding vacation destination.

Amazing hotel, second visit to this hotel and the service we received was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel very special. The chefs table experience was brilliant, 7 courses of amazing food, prosecco and lovely people. We don't want to leave as it has been exceptional

I stayed here thinking that it would be of high standard but sadly I was extremely disappointed. I came out on my special occasion to celebrate a milestone in my life of celebrating my 60th birthday. I was told that they would provide me with a complimentary upgrade to celebrate this event, only for them to say later that I would need to pay for the upgrade. I felt that wasn't good customer service.
