Brilliant hotel on the beach , always get a bed We had a deluxe sea view on the 19th floor room 1921 overlooking the Hard Rock Hotel , no noise problem, and overlooking pools and preferred club area The even number rooms face the Sandos Hotel and suffer noise from the aircon units of both hotels Great food at all the restaurants with no reservations , if you get to one that is full they take your name and contact you electronically , never more than 30 min wait so you can go for a pre dinner drink The people who make this hotel are the staff from chefs , cleaners , bar staff and in particular Itzel who serves drinks on the beach, she was always cheerful and forever asking you if you want a drink Within easy reach of Cancun 175 pesos by taxi , just go to the boys on the main door who will order a reliable taxi for you Downside Entertainment in bars so so No draught beer A lot of conferences so at times can be overwhelming at times with crowds of people on "jollies" on the beach and in the bars at night ( is it a conference centre or a holiday hotel) Can someone please explain the following Why do people find it necessary to stand in the pools for hours on end with drinks in their hands Scream at each other Use the words ,omg, totally awesome and amazing after every word usually screamed at the highest decibel that the human ear can cope with Would defo return ,but out of any American holiday period

We arrived on car and the valet parking, bell boys and welcoming staff were fantastic, same as the front desk team. We upgraded our room and the choice was the best decision to make, we got an amazing chamber with a breathless view (ocean and lagoon); the amenities and details on the room were just as we expected. Our butler Was fantastically nice, helpful and assertive at anytime, She arranged our night amenities with the house keeping service, leaving our room every night full filled of a magic atmosphere for a great romantic special night, She always managed for to amazed us and helps with our check out, keeping always contact with the Chief Concierge Krystal. The restaurants, unfortunately, were full the first night as the hotel was hosting a big group, but the dinner at the Bluewater grill was beyond excellent, our waiter was very dedicated and professional all of the time. Definitely you have to dinner there once. The Vine Bazaar: The Café: It's fantastic, a great meeting point for to relax and get always ready with a great coffee before your day starts, or even better... anytime. The staff is very kind and always helpful, always smiling at you and finding special ingredients at the kitchen for a comforting tea. You have to live the exclusive environment of this fantastic luxurious hotel and the installations, definitely is a worth life experience we all deserve. About some dislikes in general. - (Bar mans): We noticed on Saturday night, at The Vine Bazaar: The Vine Lounge | Lobby bar that the staff were a little more into the big group crew for to attend them, making jokes and acting a little bit over the top for to get tips from them and not attending the rest of the guest (including us) the same way (specially if you were not waiving bills to call their attention), serving you drinks after a long wait and with not a good attitude. - (Waiters): On Sunday we spend the day at the Preferred area having brunch at the Olio, with a very slow service. When we decided to relax by the Infinity Pool, we realized that the waiter was bringing our drinks after 30 minutes at times, so we realize he was chatting and having fun with the bar man instead. However, a couple next to us who was giving tips every time, were having their drinks in no time. - (Amenities): We sent to polish a pair of brown shoes and were returned with excess of neutral polish on the edges without being brushed, looking mat instead of shiny finish as it's original one, or how were given. - Last, my Partner had some stomach issues so we both spent a bad night. About some fantastic things happening: - The chief concierge Krystal, was attending us on a very amazing unexpected way, she brought my Partner with the hotel doctor and arranged everything for to get the medicines quickly. She also listed to our issues and apologized on the name of the hotel for the issues with the bar mans and waiters, arranging us our lunch at the Market Cafe, bringing to the table amazing staff to attend us. She also helped us to extend our check out. As I mentioned before, you have to live the Secrets The Vine experience for to spoil yourself and your soulmate. Remember always to reach the chief concierge Krystal for anything you need or want.

After reading many reviews and being unsure if I would have the great experience of some reviewers or the bad experience of other reviewers I went ahead and booked this resort for a 4 night getaway. I was presently surprised and truly enjoyed every minute of my stay. 1) Staff & Service - Outstanding; staff across the board - front desk, restaurants, bars, beach/pool service, cooks, room service; everyone was very welcoming and accommodating 2) Room - Clean, spacious, shower had consistent hot water, balcony was large, iron worked, safe worked, turn down service and mini bar restock was done every day. One small complaint - while sleeping it seemed the ac would be shut off or temp was up because we would wake up in the middle of the night so hot and sweating. 3) Pool/Beach - amazing; 3 pools - there is no bar inside of the pool, but the poolside and beach drink/food service was awesome; the staff was on top of it; we never waited for a drink; also the option to order food at the pool/beach was great. The pools and beach were very very clean, no food or drink glasses laying around, everything was kept tidy. In terms of getting chairs, we had no issues. When there were no chairs at the beach the staff quickly got two chairs and set them up for us. 4) Food - no complaints. I am from the NJ/NY area so am def spoiled with good food. I do not have high expectations when I go to all inclusive resorts. The food here was great for an all inclusive. There was not one meal I would complain about. Breakfast buffet was good - standard buffet but with a lot of healthy options - chia pudding, fruit was very fresh and delicious, oatmeal, cereal, fresh juices including a green blend. We did not visit the Asian or Mexican restaurants but did visit the: Italian - fresh bread was delicious, gnocchi was yummy, snapper was great, pear, honey, Gorgonzola pizza was Ok - crust could have been cooked a little longer, Tiramisus was yummy and Basil Panna Cotta was so so so good. Mediterranean - Falafels were ok - a little dry; hummus was good; paella was yummy, lebanese grill was yummy. Peruvian - octopus app was very tough - the taste wasn't bad, but big pieces and tough. sea bass was a little under cooked but they had no problem cooking it a little longer and it turned out great; shrimp and pasta with garlic and oil was yummy (nothing special, but taste as good as one you would order at an Italian restaurant in the US); also went here for lunch - the quinoa salad and fish tacos were yummy Steakhouse - octopus salad was yummy, empanadas were yummy, braised short rib was very tasty; the truffle mash was good; the cream spinach tasted good, but it was in a pool of cream - i just used my fork to strain most of the cream and that was fine. The chocolate cake w/ blue cheese (sounds weird) was very good and the orange crepes were delicious. We were hesitant about the steakhouse because we read bad reviews, but were glad we chose this for dinner on our last night; it really was tasty. The lunch buffet, room service, cafe for snacks, and beach/pool menu was great. The poolside grill was OK with fries, burgers, hot dogs, and nachos. But the pool/beach menu had more options and was delivered to you - so why not go for that? :) Again, keep in mind this is an all inclusive in Mexico, you are not getting some of the amazing meals you are used to at top notch restaurants in the US, but the meals here were enjoyable and the staff/service made it even more enjoyable, they really do go above and beyond. I even asked waiters for suggestions on dinner choices and went with their recos and was not disappointed. 5) Drinks - no complaints, they made anything we asked for. Even went to other bars in the resort to get us something they did not have stocked. Coconut mojitos made with fresh coconut milk, fireball shots, cosmos, any kind of martini you want...as many bottles of water as you want. 6) Activities - the entertainment staff were great - tried to keep you engaged at the pool and beach but not overly annoying like at some other resorts. 7) Massage overlooking the beach was awesome - one small call-out is that the curtains were not closed so the massage was being done in clear view of those at the pool - didn't bother me but may bother some 8) Nightlife - we were in bed most nights by 11pm - but one night did stay up and visited the piano bar - there was an Elvis impersonator which was great and then a 4 seasons band which was also great, followed by a band singing a mix of songs. Very entertaining. We did not make it to the sports bar at night, but we did take a peak in and it looked very nice All in all, no complaints; this is one of the better all inclusive resorts I have been to and I would def return and would highly recommend. For reference, I am in my young 30s and traveled with my 53 year old mother. There was a great mix of couples, singles, and families at this resort and all different age ranges.
