We had a beautiful 2 bedroom for our family, and we just loved this resort. The kids' pool was fantastic for our 2-year-old. The Mexican restaurant, Zama, was delicious. The buffet was so good that we went twice even after swearing we'd never be able to fit any more food ever again after the first time. The staff was helpful. The yoga/meditation teacher was just lovely, and the sound meditation class--which I thought would be kind of a joke--was the best meditation I've ever done. I highly recommend it. The only negative thing that happened all week was the Japanese cooking class, which was really just 20 minutes of a very rushed hands-on California roll demo and eating session. I would not recommend that. Oh, and it was a bit windy, but you can't control the weather. But everything else was just lovely. And the resort is a short drive to the Isla Mujeres ferry, and along the way we discovered El Meco ruins, so that was a nice surprise. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

My family just returned from a 7 day stay. We are not Villa members and we rented a 3 br residence all inclusive. Our stay was perfect in every way. We were not pressured in any way about timeshares. Although the resort was packed, service was as good as possible given this fact. The food was great including the dinner buffet. We didn't try the Japanese restaurant only because we are not into sushi. The staff was professional and friendly and efficient. A special thanks to Jonathan who brought us many drinks and food at the pool all week! I had read many reviews about this resort and was surprised at how nit picky they are. Was the cleaning service perfect? but it was fine and I am pretty picky. Do you have to wait for a table at restaurants unless you go very early?..yes, but you get a drink and wait. Is it a happening place at night?, but either go to the hotel district 20 minutes away or go to the hotel lobby bar and have a drink and talk to other's amazing how interesting people are especially after a cocktail or 2! There was nightly's fine and you might learn something...or dance. There seemed to be cooking classes everyday, morning yoga, and most days a little band that played music and traveled around the pool area. The drinks were not watered all. There is construction on one side of the building where we stayed, but it was not loud while we were there. About the beach, the sand is a beautiful soft white, the water turquoise and yes, there is's the ocean...they clean it daily. No, there is no swim up bar, but the swing bar on the beach is very cool and the drinks strong. Our family decided we would definitely like to return.

This resort is everything we thought it would be! The location was away from the rest of the hotel district, which were enjoyed. Plus, we were right next to the ferry dock to Isla Murejes which was a bonus. The guestrooms were beautiful and in good condition. We did experience some noise from the plumbing and ac in a couple of rooms, but we spent little time in our guestrooms overall. The food was fantastic. Our favorite restaurant was Zama (Mexican) and the Japanese restaurant. Breakfast was really fresh and delicious every day. The pools, hot tubs, fitness center, and public spaces were in great condition as well. Several of us took in the spa, and we really enjoyed the steam bath. My massage therapist William did a wonderful job. The highlight of our trip however was the service staff. We spent most mornings on the beach and our favorite staff member was Pedro Escudero. He took great care of us each day and took time to chat with us about the area and his life. What an amazing worker! We also met Juan Carbajal and he was so caring and sweet! We hope to cross paths with these people in the future. Additional staff that really impressed us included Victor, Martin, Alberto and many others. The only negative feedback I have is that the beach was not cleaned up each night. In the mornings we would find leftover food and drinks on the beach and several of the chairs and tables were dirty. I WILL DEFINATELY recommend this resort and hope to return.

Stood in the 2 bedroom penthouse with the family. Room was absolutely great. Kitchen and a deck with spa overlooking the ocean. Hotel was well maintained and I noticed someone with a tractor cleaning up the beach every morning at 6:30am, making sure it was ready for use everyday. I would stay here again for sure. Only complaint is when we needed our car at 5am the valet was nowhere to be found. Once we did get our car the person at the gate would not open the gate to let us leave. We had to go look for the valet guy again who took off quick after handing over the keys. Took another 10 minutes to be let out. Not fun when you're trying to get to the airport for your flight.

We booked this place for a bunch of girl friends traveling for a birthday in Cancun. I have stayed in a bunch of resorts, and this one really surprised me. It is by far the best resort to stay at with families. Out of the 10 different ones I have stayed, this one surpasses the "family focused service". Everything from the menu, to the disco at night is with kids and families in mind. Our stay was incredibly highlighted ( although we were not travelling as families) by a couple of people worth mentioning: 1. Jorge, the guy in charge of the pool area made sure during our stay that we were taken care of and pampered, and asked his people, to check on us every hour. Thank You Jorge!!!. 2. Jesus ( pool butler) from the pool and beach area, was just AMAZING!!!!... best service and PR ever!!! Thank you for even cleaning our sunglasses!!!....he made our stay the best one ever, we felt sooooooo special!!!!.... 3. Maurcio was an amazing pool butler and tended to our very need. Thank You Mauricio!....... To be honest, these three guys made our stay totally worth every moment. The restaurants at the resort at really top scale and the food and service is really good. Although everything at this resort seems to be so kid and family oriented I have to mention the SPA!!!! OMG!!!..... I am a spa fanatic, and this spa takes the cake BY FAR!!!!.... it is sooooooo worth a visit!!!.....It is surreal!!!........ if you are planning a family trip to Cancun this is the place to go!......
