Luxury Residences by Villa del Palmar Cancun

The resort is lovely and well maintained but it’s the impeccable service that is what keeps bringing us back . The pool concierge Jorge and Alejandro worked so hard to make sure everyone is comfortable by the pool. Renan was our pool waiter all week and even though busy always made sure you had a drink. Nubia and Alejandra assisted me with spa and dinner reservations . The spa is so special , Grecia and Lulu are amazing masseuses! I can’t wait to return . Each day was started with Andrea bringing our breakfast to the room . Her smile and professionalism was a perfect start to the day . We went to Davino bar for a pre-dinner drink and Obet went out of his way to start our evening off right ! Dinners were incredible , will review separately. I cannot wait to return ❤️

I broke my arm the day before we left for this resort. The pool staff here were amazing! Specifically, David and Kevin. They could see that we were having a tough time with this broken arm and came forward to offer us some solutions to some shade and some comfort. I can’t tell you how much we appreciated this and it made our vacation much more enjoyable.

The arrival was extraordinary! To be greeted with a fresh scented towel and water/champaign was a nice touch. It felt 5 star from the start. Ale at the front desk, when we checked in was amazing! Find her if you can! She was warm, courteous, friendly and very attentive to our questions. And she happened to be there helping us out when we checked out! So we were happy to see her again! And just like the first time, she was just as pleasing to work with at the end. We also really enjoyed the activities during the day with ERNIE and HANSON leading activities like the pool volley ball (we made sure to play pool volley ball even on the day we checked out, it’s that fun!!!) and the water aerobics!! We thought the water aerobics was for “old” people, BUT Ernie made it so fun and the sense of humor was unexpected but very memorable. We still laugh to this day! Try as many activities as you can. These guys are awesome! We just did not like the “Sales” presentation. I wish I could remember the name of the sales guy, but he was the worst. Typically used car salesman!! Pushy! Lies! Expected purchases of several thousand dollars on the spot! When we didn’t agree to purchase a time share he immediately turned to very rude and passive aggressive comments! Besides that, the customer service throughout the resort was very good. The service people are the salt of the earth! We come from the U.S. where the tipping culture is out of control. But these people absolutely deserve their tips. You can tell they work very hard and it feels like it. My wife really enjoyed our 10 yr wedding anniversary here. We don’t usually choose resorts but after this experience , we’ll be back! Thank you to everyone who contributed to our vacation.

2 bedroom penthouse was a wonderful room for the family. We loved the ocean view. Everything from check in to check out was well cared for. Otikio and Rafael did a wonderful job finding us and checking in on us throughout the entire stay. The kids loved the kids club and the teachers there did also absolutely amazing, I would bring them there again. Overall I would recommend going here. Food was good, nothing to complain. The only thing we were not fond of is their trying to get you to listen into a marketing presentation and that gets you some discounts for some activities etc…. We did not to the presentation, but if you don’t mind listening to that and save some money, that works. But I’m not a fan of having do deal with that on vacation but I understand that it’s business opportunities for them.

We had a great time here. Check in was a breeze with Fabiola, our concierge. We did the all inclusive plan which Is a must in my opinion. Service was spot on at the restaurants, bars, housekeeping, pool side waiters etc. We had no trouble booking restaurant reservations although you should probably do it a couple days in advance to avoid having to eat too late or early. Really enjoyed the Sushi and steakhouse. Breakfast buffet was solid. We enjoyed the adults only pool as we don't have kids but found that it got a bit too hot in the afternoon.
