A smaller quieter boutique style all inclusive hotel with pools, spa and ocean. Beautiful and relaxing with larger type rooms which all face the ocean. Fresh, healthy food made to your request or diet and many selection/choices. The food is outstanding and the hotel/service staff is excellent.

Everything we hoped for once we arrived was more than met and exceeded from our arrival to the room. The suite was amazing with exceptional bathroom with tons of space. The bed and couch were a little uncomfortable but everything else was very special. Dining was a great time and we enjoyed dressing up most evenings for such a pleasant dining experience. The staff is very friendly, especially at the bar and pools. Would love to return again.

My teenage daughter and I just got back from a five night trip to Zoetry. I had visited the resort twice before, once with my husband in 2013 and once with a girlfriend in 2015. Overall, my impression of the resort remains that it is a great place to spend some quiet time just chilling out by a lovely pool with great service and good food. Pick up at the airport was right on time and we were whisked away to the resort where someone was ready to check us in quickly and get us to our room even though it was only 1130 am. Since my last visit in 2015, the seaweed situation on the beach has been improved drastically. The strong seaweed smell is no longer an issue and far less cleaning is required now. In addition, we were assigned the same suite, Jaipur, this time as we were in 2015. Since our last visit, the room has had a whole face lift. The outside cushions were recovered from a drab beige and white to a lively blue and yellow fabric. The couch inside also had new fabric and pillows. New flat screen tv’s had been installed as well. Wi-Fi was strong in the room, as well as by the pool. I worked out each morning in the gym which seems to have gotten a face lift as well. It was always clean and well air conditioned when I went in there. The treadmills are likely ready to be updated soon as they are a bit loud but throw on a pair of headphones and they are fine. One change that I did not love as much was that the resort got all new pool chairs. Before there were large double chairs with thick pads on one side of the pool (still there) and on the other side of the pool were wrought iron individual chairs with pads. Those individual chairs are now gone and have been replaced with double chairs made out of a slingback material – so they no longer get pads on them. The slingback chairs have two distinct halves that adjust independent of each other so if you are sharing with someone, one person can be sitting straight up and the other lying flat. The issue I have with the chairs is that in the 85 degree heat, sometimes you really don’t want another person laying right next to you --- you want your own space. We solved this chair issue by each of us just taking our own double chair. The resort was not full when we were there so this did seem to be a problem, but if the resort were busier you might have to share a chair which would not be our preference. The resort has also gotten all new towels since our last visit. On the topic of the pool, the service there was outstanding as usual. The team of waiters work so hard to make sure that all of the guests have what they need. We were lucky to have chairs in Adrian’s section most of our stay. Adrian is incredibly hard working, enthusiastic and friendly. He quickly learned our names and worked to anticipate our every need. He got us drinks during the day and handled our lunch order when we moved into Hippo’s Bar to get out of the sun each day. His smiling face really took our trip from “bien” to “super bien.” My daughter is already plotting on when we can go back to see our new friend Adrian. Also, a shout out to Antonio who took care of us on Adrian’s day off. We ended up eating at Canoa once and the grill by the pool once for dinner – both of which were really good. The other nights, we found that room service was a great option for us. Note – the menu in the rooms is really limited BUT if you go on the unlimited connectivity app that they recommend, there is a much more expansive menu to look at. Room service was consistently good and they always arrived within their stated waiting time. Once they told us it would be ten minutes to get a hamburger that my daughter ordered mid-afternoon and I told her that there was no way that would happen. Sure enough, ten minutes later, there was the hamburger. Recent reviews of the resort criticized some of the large wedding groups and corporate groups that come to the resort. We had a wedding group there for part of our stay. The first day they came to the resort, the group got really loud in the pool and were literally in the water chanting and throwing kids up in the air like cannon balls. After the first day though, the group settled in and really wasn’t an issue for us. They certainly had a presence at the pool but I don’t require absolute quiet to enjoy my time by the pool and the group really didn’t bother me. So, if you want to place to just go and “be taken care of “ – this is a good place to go to. Every time I go, I come back very relaxed and refreshed. We will most certainly be back at some point.

This is a fantastic place to lay back and relax. Food is fantastic!!! See vice is excellent!! Pool is great and the beach is awesome. Water is not flat. There are waves crashing in most of the time or at least when we were there. We are coming back. Nothing to do but sit back and relax. We didn't leave the resort for sightseeing or anything . The rooms with the pools can have bad views. When we return we will take a second floor room

Everything about our stay at Zoetry was exceptional! The food, service, entertainment and the room itself were all amazing! We were on our honeymoon and it was exactly what we needed. It was quiet, relaxing and initimate! We even got lunch served to us on the beach thank you Alejandro! We already want to make a trip back in the future. Also we had an amazing massage at the spa and a great complimentary trip to Isla Mujeres! Thank you to Hugo that set us up with that and our snorkeling trip!
