First and foremost sign up for the free stuff...the day trips, the cigar rolling, the wine tastings, and spirit rituals are cool. learn how to use the free services of the spa because the stuff offered for free is very very nice. I only had one complaint and it is crazy to see it at a place like this. The restaurants or services that end before posted time. One will likely miss lunch service if you take advantage of the hotels trips. Even if you arrive back at 3:30, you have to order room service. As the sushi bar closes at 4pm and it is already broken down at 3:35. This really upset me. I mean the resort is top dollar and worth it act like it no matter how absurd the request. This instant was not enough for it to lose any points from my rating because the whole experience was beyond expectation. The good stuff: The service is amazing. The food mostly organic and really fresh. Menu for all diets and allergies. Keto, Vegan, carb free, etc. The concierge rented me a car and a private cenote for like a 100 bucks.

We loved our vacation there. At first I was concerned about an all inclusive resort in general. This place exceeded my expectation of value, service, food, included side trips and overall resort amenities. The staff is happy and sincere in their service. Fabby does a yoga and meditation class out on the dock in the morning, that is worth getting up earlier to attend. The resort is removed from commercial districts, so if you need additional night life activity, you will need to take a cab into one of the nearby towns. This was not an issue for us, we loved the serenity. Check out Book store Alma Libre in Puerto Morelos

The rooms are huge with large sliding glass doors that help make you feel like your outside. Housekeeping is hit and miss. The only part of the trip that disappointed. Kaax restaurant was my favorite. Caesar and Effron were very helpful. They have a breakfast special and dinner special every day. The Grill was good but the fish was over cooked. The octopus was outstanding. I did not care for La Canoa. Their corn soufflé was a dry over cooked piece of corn bread. Maria at the concierge desk was super helpful. The spa is a must. The massage was worth every penny.

Arrived for 25th wedding celebration. Splurged on personal butler. Check in was quick (too quick) with Alfonzo who appeared to want to get us out of office fast. Gave us a map, pointed here and there and that was our welcome. Waiting for the butler to arrange tours, dinners. Went to the office last night asking “where is our butler?” They said they would check. Next day no sign of butler or front desk checking. Dinner was good but service extremely slow. A few drinks made at the pool bar were sent back due to strength of alcohol. Beach brown not your typical turquoise blue. Room nice but plunge pool ice cold. So far, this is our first and last trip to Zoetry. Still waiting for our MIA butler. Butler Service here is a joke.

Beautiful spacious rooms and terrace. Excellent ocean view. The spa and pool were very nice. The staff at the pool were extremely attentive and the restaurant staff were also very friendly and usually attentive. Be prepared for long meals. The food is excellent but smaller portions than in the US, which is great because you can have multiple courses; however, many times there was a significant wait between courses. I was a little disappointed that more information was not shared at check in (re. spa, complimentary sail/treatment). It seemed very rushed. Then the concierge seemed to be gone all the next day (we were told the owner/VIP was there so she was in a meeting...but I checked back throughout the day and did not see her once). So unfortunately we missed the ceremony and everything we were interested in was booked. I am a UVC member and was offered small gifts but it did not seem like anyone wanted to help acclimate us or arrange anything for us. Also, one of the three restaurants was closed while we were there. Lastly, I'd suggest changing the menu at Canoa during the week. Overall a very relaxing visit and mostly great staff.
