THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST VACATION EVER!!! I booked with Apple vacations and have emailed them a detailed letter. I went to celebrate by birthday from July15-19, 2017. They are not accommodating at all. The beach is disgusting caked with seaweed. I only booked for the beach. I have a Pool at home. The pictures online show the pretty beach in both directions. This is false advertisement. Not even close. If you love birds then go to Zoetry. They might be beautiful but that is what you hear at the pool not music. Also birds swarm you if you eat at the pool and steal your food. The room has a faint smell of sewage. The grounds are boring. I had to pay extra for a room with plunge Pool and the huge bird cage with all of the parrots was right outside. The hotel knew how upset I was and still did not try and help me. I wanted to move resorts. I asked to go to a sister resort or anything would be better than that place. It was the most expensive vacation I have ever been on and got absolutely nothing out of it. The pool is small. Who goes on vacation to just sit at the pool? I have a pool at home. You cannot see the gross ocean from the pool anyways. A row of greenery is in front of it. The rooms are spacious but again I went there because I thought it was a wellness resort with amazing beach and view. They sent myself and my two kids on an hour cab ride which I paid for and it was just as disappointing. Seaweed may be out of their control but they cannot advertise white sandy beaches with crystal water. I have lakes with better beaches and water. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! I could write forever about all of the things that happened. I do not know how they have won any awards or how anyone could write a positive review. If you don't care for the beach, love birds and iguanas everywhere and just want to sit at a pool with nothing to do then go to Zoetry Riviera Maya. They offer nothing. I thought there was complementary boat rides but when I asked it was not available. A $200 resort credit was not mentioned and when I asked about it they brushed me off and I tried to use it and I could not. One day they started closing the pool up at 5:45 and I just wanted a towel and the pool guy said sorry we don't have anymore. I could go on and on. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! worst vacation ever. I could not wait for it to be over. I thought they would accommodate me in switching but by the time a representative got back to me the vacation was over anyways. There is no way I am paying for how much I spent. It was a complete disaster. I thought I wa paying for a wellness resort with fresh juices and healthy choices and workouts and a beautiful beach. Even the gym was terrible. My home gym is better. Treadmills do not work anyways. I have been to tons of places; Bahamas, Costa Rica, st. Barths, Turkes, etc. all have been amazing. ZOETRY IS A COMPLETE JOKE!!!! I have never written a review. This is my first one.

This is the most beautiful hotel we have ever been to! We have boys (10 and 11 years old) that actually said this was their "Best vacation ever" Everything is amazing food, rooms, staff, facility, decor, beach, marina, activities... Its like you walked into paradise! Kids were able to get their Jr PADI Open Water Scuba Diving certification through the hotel's marina (Marina la Bonita). 5 Stars for Everything!!!!!

I cannot say enough about Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita. This resort is beautiful, peaceful, and the service is impeccable. Come here to unwind, relax and pampered. The staff are attentive, and so kind. We so enjoyed Rocky, Miguel, Esteban, Alexis. Everyone was amazing. We will definitely be back. Thank you Zoetry.

First Class from the moment we stepped off the plane! Champagne, beverages and cool towels for our short drive from the Cancun airport! Staff waiting to escort us to our lovely suite with fabulous ocean views! Outstanding customer service...simply the best we have experienced! The suites are fabulous: fresh flowers in room everyday, welcome bottle of tequila, service 3 times daily, complimentary laundry and so much more! The restaurants are delicious and the presentation as well as creativity of the chefs make for memorable meals! Nightly entertainment from great musicians was a fun treat! The pool with constant attention and service is unparalleled in Mexico! If you get the chance to visit you will feel pampered and love every moment you get to stay at this family owned gem! Just a lovely sanctuary that exceeds all expectations! ‚̧ԳŹūüá≤ūüáł̧ԳŹ

My husband surprised me with a trip to Cancun to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. (I found out where I was going at the airport!) When we arrived in Cancun we were greeted with champagne and beer in the Mercedes van. Rafael met us at the airport and took great care of us, making sure we had everything we needed. He arranged our dinner reservations and reservations twice on the catamaran champagne cruise. We had the butler service. We were told that we were the first to use the service. A bit pricey, but maybe we didn't take full advantage of all of the services. This hotel is considered a boutique hotel because of the size. The grounds are beautiful. There is a lot of wildlife walking around - crabs, peacocks, lizards and beautiful birds. Our first floor room was huge, to say the least! We had a plunge pool that was cleaned every morning. Our room was cleaned both in the morning and at night while we were at dinner. The room was super clean. On our first evening, we were sitting on the patio and 3 housekeepers came in and washed the floors, cleaned, put slippers on a mat on the side of the bed and decorated our bed with flowers in the shape of hearts! One evening when we we returned from dinner, the HUGE Roman bathtub was filled with hot water, bubbles and flowers floating on top of the bubbles and champagne! How they knew when we'd be back is a mystery to me! The pool is gorgeous and the bartenders are fabulous ~ especially Victor. We loved our guacamole and chips poolside every afternoon, as well as lunch. The bartenders literally walk over the water to bring your drink to you. The food was amazing. Be careful with your baked goods at breakfast because the black birds will swoop down and grab it right off of your plate. A really lovely touch at breakfast was the harpist. He was amazing and it was a beautiful start to the day. At the pool, there are no less than 5 towels on your bed, which they set up for you. We did do the tour of Secrets, which we enjoyed seeing. We got our $500 so we were able to get a couples massage, which was amazing. We were greeted by name everywhere we went. We felt like family. I highly recommend this place and look forward to going back again, soon!
