Arrived for 25th wedding celebration. Splurged on personal butler. Check in was quick (too quick) with Alfonzo who appeared to want to get us out of office fast. Gave us a map, pointed here and there and that was our welcome. Waiting for the butler to arrange tours, dinners. Went to the office last night asking “where is our butler?” They said they would check. Next day no sign of butler or front desk checking. Dinner was good but service extremely slow. A few drinks made at the pool bar were sent back due to strength of alcohol. Beach brown not your typical turquoise blue. Room nice but plunge pool ice cold. So far, this is our first and last trip to Zoetry. Still waiting for our MIA butler. Butler Service here is a joke.

Beautiful spacious rooms and terrace. Excellent ocean view. The spa and pool were very nice. The staff at the pool were extremely attentive and the restaurant staff were also very friendly and usually attentive. Be prepared for long meals. The food is excellent but smaller portions than in the US, which is great because you can have multiple courses; however, many times there was a significant wait between courses. I was a little disappointed that more information was not shared at check in (re. spa, complimentary sail/treatment). It seemed very rushed. Then the concierge seemed to be gone all the next day (we were told the owner/VIP was there so she was in a meeting...but I checked back throughout the day and did not see her once). So unfortunately we missed the ceremony and everything we were interested in was booked. I am a UVC member and was offered small gifts but it did not seem like anyone wanted to help acclimate us or arrange anything for us. Also, one of the three restaurants was closed while we were there. Lastly, I'd suggest changing the menu at Canoa during the week. Overall a very relaxing visit and mostly great staff.

Our experience at Zoetry was none like ever before. We were so pleased with all the attention and care the staff gave us. There was not one moment where we felt disappointed. I would like to extend a special thank you to Raphael who made our stay at Zoetry one of a kind, I hope to see you again. I would also like to commend Fabiola for her great yoga classes and to all the chefs with their excellent and tasty creations.

We cannot speak highly enough about the wonderful staff at Paraiso. Never in my life have we been to a hotel where each staff member was genuinely concerned about every aspect of our stay. Upon arriving we were a bit late for a sushi lunch but Umberto made it happen with a curated sushi menu for dinner that evening! Personally, my main goal was to learn how to scuba dive and what better a place! Lars was beyond wonderful. Words cannot explain how kind he was teaching me a skill that I was quite nervous about. After one hour in the pool he had me and my boyfriend out in the ocean and literally held my hand the entire time. This was such an accomplishment for me and I could not have done it without such a soft and gentle instructor! We had a wonderful time and will dream about going back!

Three girlfriends and I from college celebrated our 50th birthdays at this resort over a 5 night stay. It was a perfect spot because we were looking for a place where we could spend a lot of time together catching up on each other's lives. This resort is small so you don't get lost and have to spend hours looking for your friends. The food is AMAZING! Two people in our party live in Manhattan and are used to great food. We were impressed by the variety and quality of the food served. Also, there are no buffets. Everything is a la carte and meals can be brought to your room to eat on your balcony overlooking the ocean. Finally, we thought the staff were so lovely. They were warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Sometimes they are slow but I think it's because we are used to service times from fast paced cities. After the first day, we adjusted our expectations and were very pleased. The beach was a disappointment because it is short and the water is not crystal blue. However, sitting next to the pool was enjoyable. Very few children, mostly adults and staff take care of all of your needs. There are many activities offered but we didn't participate in many of them. We did enjoy the hydrotherapy and my friend got a massage from Jesus and loved it. We would definitely visit another Zoetry resort.
