Food great, activities outstanding, staff amazing it would be difficult to over praise our holiday. The daily spa treatments included were luxurious although if you are a guy and not used to such things (Like me) just go with it! I'm certain that we will be back.

My wife and son went last year and frankly never stopped talking about how great it was so had to go and see for myself. Clearly the name is appropriate. It is less of a hotel and more of a private resort. Loved the daily treatments which were a great way to start the day. Started off with full body then realised I could have just head and shoulders. Amazing. The room was small but the bed was lovely. I didn't realise there was no TV in the room till day T May called the election. Speaks volumes!! We were on the beach and yet very quiet. Housekeeping constantly checking we were ok, but not intrusive. Lots of nice big towels and toiletries. Reception very helpful and staff remembered your name. Having said that the staff had no name badges. Wifi was restricted to room and a couple of other areas. Annoying but they're right. If you need it it's 2 minutes away max!! Food was great. Agree with comments that not great for vegetarians like my wife and daughter but for me it was perfect. Agree about queuing for eggs for breakfast but not a real issue. Lots of choices and very fresh. Few places to eat and sometimes would do a safari night starters in one place and dessert in another. It seemed quite fun and not because the choices were limited but because there was so much choice. If you wanted some changes to fixed menu it was no effort. People very friendly and staff likewise. No stress and very British with lots of Canadians and a few Irish. A dearth of Americans!!! The guests were like the nice parents you meet at parents day. Courtesy seems a byword for all human contact. English sockets everywhere. Lots of people drinking but hardly any drunks!!! And none of the loud tourists you meet in Dubai and some upmarket ski resorts. Lots of free water sports and the guys made it easy. I did a days scuba and anyone who knows me will realise that was a great feat. Staff very polite and friendly and that includes all staff even the security people. Lots of bites. But it's a hot climate for gods sake!! Trip back to airport was long but did the scenic route. The driver was very entertaining and his car very comfortable. Less said about journey on arrival!! I think it has a cult feeling (in a good way) with lots of returning guests. And I can completely understand why. It's a very easy place to like and feel comfortable in. Indeed you can have lots of different holidays at the same time!!! Got the impression people went to bed early although the piano bar stayed open till the last guest left. Bar staff very friendly and drinks very good, nice choice of wine too. You could get a cup of tea with fresh milk all day. And if you wanted something served in room or beach it was not too much. Indeed the staff seemed to enjoy serving. Maybe there are improvements they can make but it might mean it becomes attractive to the sorts of guests that spoil holidays. The decor is new and classic rather than vulgar and brash. Lots of comfortable seating and sun beds on the beach The gardens are lovely and manicured.

Any words I could use to describe the Body Holiday sound wholly cliched but this is certainly the most magical holiday I have ever been on. I have never felt so safe, so enriched and secure in this little bubble for a week. One size fits all here, there is a reason people keep coming back(some 30 times!) and it has such cult status. If you want to manically exercise, if you want to read your book all day nestled in one of the comforting cabanas or if you want back to back pampering, there is a place for you here. What marks the Body Holiday from any other resort, is the intelligent design and management of the place. Thirsty? Never fear there is chilled water nearby. Want a dance? Sure why not and there are three excellent dancers you can hang out with. Hungry? Availability of a pizza or quinoa. The staff are continually present but in a non interfering way. The all inclusive nature means you can literally remove yourself from the stresses of daily life and most importantly for me have as many green juices and iced coffees as I so pleased. My pals hit the Rose. Special mention for the Ayurvedic treatments, especially Patricia and for the watersports guys who were friendly, encouraging and helpful. Don’t miss the sunset cruise, great fun and dancing on board. Yes it is expensive, but represents good value for money. Save the money on a soul searching trip to average places for a month and come here for a week.

This is an outstanding place for a visit whether you travel solo or in a couple. What sets this apart from anywhere else I have been is the great staff. From the minute you arrive at the airport to the wait staff at each restaurant and of course, The Body Guard team. If you want a "lie by the beach" holiday, this is the place for you; if you want an action packed holiday with a combination of fitness classes, mindfulness classes, tennis and watersports, this is also the place for you. The activities team are so well trained they are better than any physical therapist I have seen over the years and I use it as an opportunity to get my injury workout plan redone when I go. It is an added bonus to have a spa treatment per day included in your package. Each time I go I feel like I am "going home". I have spoken with people there who are 40 time returners and I know the reason why. You definitely rejuvenate your body and mind whether you are active or simply want a relaxing beach holiday. A couple of tips: 1) You need bug spray. They nicely provide it at the hotel and you will need it! I also purchased all natural citronella bracelets this time on Amazon and they worked really well. The mosquitos were particularly bad this trip. 2) If you want a great taxi service, I highly recommend Andy Alexander. I now book him directly. An overall great experience - he is super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the island and always reliable. In effect a tour guide as well. This is our second stay and will definitely not be our last, another wonderful stay at The BodyHoliday, I can not praise the BodyHoliday enough from there fantastic choices in healthy eating to there most amazing staff who are so friendly and helpful in every way. It is a lovely thing when you return somewhere to be recognised from the previous stay, the classes on offer cater for every age group, with motivating teachers with humour mixed in, perfect for us with our family who age between 17-50, and then you can relax with no guilt!
