We have just recently returned from a lovely visit to the Rendezvous. We renewed our wedding vows out there and everything was perfect, it was only a simple affair but we were made to feel very special. So a big Thankyou for that. However, I do not understand why people return year after year. Yes it's a lovely and personal hotel. Food is very good so is the service. However I didn't feel that the staff were overly friendly as many reviews suggest. In fact only 2 members of staff asked our names and then we were never called by them. I felt they made more of an effort to those who had been numerous times, and couldn't be bothered with first timers. Beach was lovely,we had a sea view room which was great and kept lovely and clean.pools were a bit small, but then the sea was lovely for swimming in. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there, but wouldn't go back. There are too many other beautiful places in the world to see.

Visited St Lucia and stayed at the Rendevous last October/November - absolute perfection! The food was beautiful and the all inclusive package which included free champagne topped it off! The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help with anything you could possibly want. The resort was absolutely fantastIc and we've never experienced anywhere so peaceful and beautiful. Would highly recommend!

We have stayed at Rendezvous & dined many times over the years & during our stay at the sister resort a short journey away, always visit for a day or a few evenings to visit The Tristin Restaurant, on this occasion we introduced some friends who I must say like ourselves were very impressed with both the food & service, Harry & his team really excelled this year on both of our visits excellent food & service, we will of course return.

Pretty much everything I wrote last time still stands, with a couple of exceptions: Malabar beach club, this is a fabulous addition to this resort and is great for lunch. Staff, still in the main amazing, there's still quite a few of everyone's favourites even Imran has returned. We did witness however some in fighting amongst some of the newer staff who complained about being underpaid, as a result of this there is a culture of begging from some of the staff for money which is unpleasant. Still a great resort but they definitely need to work on their consistency levels with upgrades or no upgrades for returning guests. One last thing, we were lucky enough to get to see and take part in creole day, well worth the effort. A really great safe and fun day. It's Sunday 29th October this year so I'm told. Well worth doing.

I read lots of reviews and wondered whether the Hotel would live up to my very high expectations - and it actually exceeded them. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff, the ambience and the wonderful friendly atmosphere was superb. We took the helicopter transfer both ways and really enjoyed the view and indeed the speed of transit. We stayed in a seaside suite and loved it as it was bright and airy with a large seating area outside. Francis in housekeeping who looked after our room was superb and so friendly and the room was absolutely immaculate at all times. The food in all the restaurants was outstanding and I loved "checking my shoes in" at the Malabar in the evening. The BBQ on friday night was lovely followed by the most amazing steel band. The entertainment crew were really friendly - great fun but not pushy. Jacinta in reception was brilliant with nothing too much trouble. It is difficult to mention specific staff as all were so welcoming and so keen to make our holiday special. Another small point, I loved having the couple of small cats around and all the guests made a fuss of them as they reminded us of our pets at home. I was really pleased the staff did not chase them away as we all sneaked them pieces of ham! We are already making arrangements to return early next year
