We returned home last week after our 4th visit to the Rendezvous since 2009, we love it!! So many of the staff remembered us which is really lovely. All the staff at the hotel are amazing and will do anything for you. You have Iain the dancing barman such a great guy and very entertaining, along with Orlando and Marie, then there is Kato in the champagne bar. In the restaurant you have Felisha she remembers us every time we stay, she is so lovely. Pauline in the activities team along with Chantelle and Nima, to name but a few they are all great, but unfortunately you can't name everyone. All the staff work extremely hard, and are prepared to go that extra mile. We stayed in a premier garden view room, which is very comfortable and adequate, with all amenities. The hotel Is located on a stunning piece of beach, with amazing views. We loved the Malabar beach restaurant a great addition to the hotel. With the 3 restaurants now, you will always find something you like. We had some steak meals in the Trysting to die for! Carmen in the Trysting is also a little treasure and Harry. We had a repeat guest dinner with the Manager Yhasmine and some other repeaters, this was a really lovely touch and a thoroughly enjoyable evening. This place for us is paradise, we will return in a year or two, and will make sure we are there for the carnival, which we just missed. Thank you everyone at the Rendezvous for another fantastic holiday.

We have stayed at this resort before and we love the place. It is beautiful, the staff is fabulous, rooms are great and drinks and food are really good. BUT this time I can't help but feeling a bit disappointed. When booking they advertised two lunch restaurants and thee evening restaurants. This is not the case. The main terrace restaurant is closed every lunch time so no buffet - just a limited a la cart in the Malabar. Now malabar is beautiful, don't get me wrong but two weeks of no choice gets boring! And dinner is the same, most nights the terrace restaurant is closed so those promised theme nights are not happening. Most might it is just malabar and trysting place which needs to be booked and have limited menus. As I said, I love this place but I feel a bit cheated this time because I'm not getting what was advertised upon booking.

We do a lot of research on tripadvisor before we book our holiday, so it was no surprise that the staff and food are very good, we also knew it would be a relaxing holiday, however, we noticed when we arrived that there was hardly anybody about. We put it down to being very tired and things would be a bit livelier the next day after a good sleep. It wasn't, we were told the hotel was only 39% full, I suspect it was less. No worries about sunbeds on the beach, we had our pick every day, the evenings/entertainment were the same, about 20 people on average. We are not youngsters expecting a raving party atmosphere but we were expecting a few more people buzzing around. Some evenings at 7-7.30 in the piano bar, there were 4 people in. This must sound like a hatchet job, but I assure you it isn't, the friends we made were amazing and we had a laugh, the hotel is fantastic and we had a great holiday with some excellent photos. Recommend the Catamaran trip. Oh, and definitely do the tubing also the hobby cats but try keep the sail bit above the waterline though or you will get plenty of stick. Breakfast views are to die for and the Trysting Place was 5 star, special mention to Carmen. Incidentally, we were told by the hotel, the low occupancy was down to the time of year, but we went on a day pass to the Body Hotel and it was packed, I just can't work it out.

We went for two weeks early July 2017. it was the rainy season but the showers were brief and the weather still very warm if a bit humid. The hotel is lovely. Spotlessly clean with a lovely beach, two great swimming pools, a stunning terrace bar and three good restaurants. There are loads of free activities to enjoy. The best part is the lovely friendly staff who became more like friends and couldn't do enough for you. They were also extremely polite and likeable. It was a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Would also recommend doing the golf clinic with the island's professional golfer Peter David. He is an amazing teacher and very patient! Will definitely return!

We had been so looking forward to visiting this hotel with to celebrate our wedding anniversary. On the positive side we had a lovely beach front villa very close to the sea. Amazing. Very soon after unpacking we realised that the air con was not working. We loved the position of the room so we decided to decamp to the room two away for the night. Later the next day the a/c was fixed. So then we enjoyed five days of enjoyment at this lovely hotel. Yes the staff are great and do remember your name which is wonderful. Later on during the holiday they serviced the a/c (we receieved a letter). This went on for a further 4 days, which became very uncomfortable for us both. The temperature rose to 85 degrees in the room!!!!!! We think because we had a beach front room we had more probs with the a/c than other rooms on the complex. As you can imagine we were very unhappy which actually ruined most of our holiday. We did see management who never came to see us - we had to seek them out. Not good enough for a hotel of this calibre. We have agreed to compensation from the Hotel and Virgin. We paid so much money to have a beach front room which we loved but sadly the whole holiday was spoilt by the a/c problem which should have been dealt with more efficiently. A message to the management of this hotel........ You have amazing staff - you have a wonderful beach front hotel please look after clients who have problems. As you can gather we won't be returning. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us at the Rendevzous.
