We got married at the Rendezvous in December and can not thank them enough, everything was perfect, Sandra and her team were 1st class. Everything we asked for was met and nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding photos were taken by Ashley whos wit and humour put us both at ease. We stayed in the Varanda room which was very spacious and comfy, cleaners came every day and the room was spotless. Restuarants was very good, The Trysting was 1st class, food and service was real quality. The Malibar beach restuarant was our choice for lunch, nicely located on the beach. The Terrace restuarant was where you go for breakfast and evening buffet, Entertainment was good and varied, they had a band play twice whilst we were there called Extreme who were really good. We enjoyed the steel band and the fire display. I have read a few reviews about aircraft noise and the cemetary along the beach, at first you will notice small planes going over the resort, but after a while you really do stop taking any notice of them. As for the cemetary it was probably there before the resort was built, my outlook is you are on holiday on a beautiful island so enjoy the positives. It was nice to sit back enjoying a Rum punch watching the locals also enjoying the beach, playing football, cricket, and riding their horses. Overall i would highly recommend the Rendezvous, excellent food, drink, friendly staff,

Having stayed in many hotels in the Caribbean over the last 10 years, I can honestly say that the Rendez Vous is one of the best. The resort is situated just outside Castries, not one of the prettiest Caribbean capitals, on a beautiful beach which is enjoyed by locals during the weekend. The hotel provides all sorts of water sports including sailing, kayaks, diving and snorkelling although for these you need to take (and pay for) a boat to clearer waters, as the waters around the hotel are not clear enough being on sand. The hotel has three restaurants, the main Terrace, the Malabar and the Trysting. All are good and have their own character. The food at the Trysting is really excellent and Maitre D' Harry is a wonderful character. The Malabar is a sophisticated beach restaurant where you sit on the beach and watch the sea. The food is modern and original. The Terrace has a variety of buffets, set meals and regular beach barbecues. Overall the food and service is excellent. The wine selection is good and guests are quickly served. There are three bars. The main bar by the Terrace is ideal for meeting friends in the evenings and has an excellent selection of drinks including wonderful rum cocktails. The swim up bar is perfect for hot days and also has a wide range. Maybe best of all is the Champagne bar open from 7 to 8 pm and again after dinner. Here you can sample some fine champagnes (at no extra cost) and listen to Gilbert on the piano. The staff are all extremely pleasant and helpful. Many have worked for years at the hotel and are obviously happy with their work. I got the impression of excellent staff training which means that the staff all have a very positive attitude (something which is sometimes lacking in other resorts). It would be impossible to single out any particular staff members, but we appreciated all the catering staff as well as the activities team who provided all sorts of sports and past-times. I personally benefitted from sailing and archery, but there were many other possibilities. The gardens are beautifully kept and I enjoyed a long chat with the head gardener. During our stay there were some big waves which threw up rubbish and stones onto the beach. The gardening team quickly cleared up the beach - quite a task which had to be repeated on several occasions. Guests have a choice of places to sit - by the two pools, by the secret stream or on the beach itself. Wherever you sit, staff quickly bring iced water and offer drinks from the bar. New towels appeared as if by magic. At the weekend some locals also enjoyed the beach and it was great seeing young children training, playing football and riding horses bareback along the wide stretch of beach that skirts the bay. Speaking to other guests we discovered that many had returned to the Rendez Vous for many years and we could understand exactly why. Some were making reservations for 2019. In short the Rendez Vous is a wonderfully relaxing experience with excellent service and food, a lovely beach to enjoy and explore. Unlike some resorts it is low key with no music disrupting the sunny days, but with some entertainment in the evenings (we loved the two steel bands which played during our stay). We can recommend this hotel without any reservations.

As last year, slight issues with the flow and temperature of the hot water supply, but the flow was fixed the minute we mentioned it, and the part they'd been waiting for to increase the temperature arrived and was fitted. Apart from that, yet again we can't praise this holiday high enough. The three different types of restaurant give good variety, so suit all tastes, and the food is delicious. We're not "formal" on a sun'n sand-type holiday so,although we visited the Trysting Place once (just to say we'd done it, really)it's not really our bag; we found it rather "gloomy" to be honest, and another guest described it to us as "The Funeral Parlour"! Huge praise all round, to the whole team, not forgetting the Food&Beverage Manager, the kitchen staff and the Housekeeping girls as well as the front of house guys. Special mentions to Veronica at the serving station, Jacintha and Frances in the Terrace Bar and Brendaleen, our room maid. The reason it all works so well is that everyone in this hotel works as a team with a common aim: the comfort & pleasure of their guests. This attitude has to come from the top, and be attributed to the General Manager, the inimitable Yhasmine Remy-Hylton, who's a class act and deserves a review all of her own! I have no idea how she holds down such a demanding job as well as having her own family, but boy, her expertise certainly shows, and she does it all with such a light touch, too. Needless to say we've booked to go again, taking others with us. Can't wait!

LOVE, Love, Love this place and can't wait to go back. We were married here in November 2017 and it was everything we could have wished for and more. Small, personal and in the most beautiful place. Every member of staff was just so kind....nothing was too much. Sandra organised our wedding, thank you, we will love you forever. This is an adult only hotel so don't go here if you are looking for party won't get it here.

We spent 11 nights here in early January and had an amazing holiday. This was our first time at an all inclusive resort and I'm afraid that any other we visit will not be as good! The food in all the restaurants was fabulous, the only time we thought that there could be improvements was at the beach barbecue. Not only were all the meals delicious there was food available for afternoon tea and later in the evening in case you needed more! Also the wine was very good (and plentiful!) and the cocktails were delicious! The staff were the friendliest we have ever encountered, Frances greeting us in the morning at breakfast with her flower in her hair and a big hug, Glen looking after us at the pool and bringing our iced coffee without having to ask, the always smiling Guildford at the bar to mention a few. I also had a very relaxing massage and amazing facial with Leona in the spa. We stayed in a garden room which despite being quite small was very comfortable. The air con in the first room we had was set on very cold and seemed to be uncontrollable so we asked to be moved the next morning and this was done without a problem. A favourite part of our stay was the 'bubbles on the beach' at sunset where a saxophonist plays whilst you sit on the beachband drink champagne! A couple of the bands that played in the evening were also very good. All the guests seemed very friendly and we had some fun evenings and made some good friends. The only hiccup was the lack of hot water on the last couple of days but the management kept us well informed throughout and gave us a complimentary late check out to compensate. We had a fantastic holiday and I'm sure we will return one day.
