What a delightful experience! We travelled to St Lucia for the first time and spent 8 nights at Stolentime and were very sad to leave after a truly pampering and relaxing experience. We paid for the highest category of room, a beachfront cottage with its own private loungers directly on the sand and just step into the sea from our veranda. We certainly didn’t regret that decision, as it felt so private and the room was comfortable, spacious and tastefully furnished. As many people have said in their reviews, the staff really make an effort to cater to your every need and you never need to look far for someone to assist if you need it. We were particularly impressed by the large range of activities available every day, all of which were included in the price. Food and drink were available more or less constantly, if desired, and the three different restaurants on site provided ample variety in terms of cuisine and ambience, depending on your preference. The superbly maintained and beautifully designed grounds deserve a special mention; it’s like walking through a botanical garden and provides some much-needed shade at times. Whilst the beach is technically public (as are all St Lucian beaches), we saw few non-hotel guests passing through or sitting on the sand and certainly never experienced any problems from anyone. There was sufficient privacy for those who prefer their own company, combined with the chance to meet other guests in the evenings if that is your preference. We would certainly return. The whole experience was truly relaxing and high quality.

This is an adult only hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The gardens are so well maintained. The hotel is excellent. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The food is excellent in all the three restaurants. The staff are fantastic. They are so friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel if you are going to St Lucia.

Our second visit to Stolen Time, and no disappointment, our stay was just as good as we remembered from before. The ambience was excellent , the staff friendly and helpful, food delicious, special events were indeed special and memorable, and our 1st floor verandah accommmodation was spacious, clean & comfortable. The hotel's proximity to Castres airport did not trouble us, although motorbikes on a nearby public road were sometimes noisy,

Stolentime is located on Malabar Beach close to Castries and the local airport. Many of the island's most popular attractions such as the Pitons, Diamond Falls, Project Chocolat etc are in the southern half of the island so, if you want to visit them, you'll spend a lot of time travelling around. My wife and I had already spent a few days in the Soufriere area so we were more than happy to spend most of our time at Stolentime on the beach - which is a peaceful and relaxing place to be. Some reviewers have mentioned the noise from occasional low flying aircraft but it didn't bother us at all. We had a spacious verandah suite looking out onto the well maintained gardens. It was clean, well decorated, well furnished and provided everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. All of the accommodation is conveniently close to the bars and restaurants all of which have a very nice ambience. We had an all inclusive package which allowed us to use all 3 restaurants on site. We were very happy with the food wherever we ate but preferred the a la carte dining to the buffets. The one minor criticism I have is that during our time there the majority of a la carte menu choices remained the same. I would like to have seen more changes. Most of the staff were friendly, attentive and efficient but I often found it quicker to order drinks at the bar than wait for someone to serve us. The bar staff were often very busy but coped well with the pressure. I'm not a fan of the kind of evening entertainment you normally get in hotels. In my experience it's usually pretty mediocre but I really enjoyed the evening entertainment at Stolentime. It was generally good and the entertainers worked hard to please the audience. To my wife's surprise (and mine) I even got up and danced a few times. The daytime activities team make sure that there's no shortage of things to do. They provide a comprehensive list of activities and if you want something more bespoke they'll help you with that too. Apart from the lovely white sand beach there are a couple of very nice swimming pools. The beach is not exclusive to hotel guests but the sunbeds and parasols are. We did see other people walking along the beach and swimming in the sea, especially when the cruise ships were in the nearby port, but they didn't disturb us. I have one minor complaint which is the annoying problem of guests reserving sunbeds and not using them. We usually went to the beach quite early to find quite a few sunbeds with towels on but no-one there. Some of these reserved beds stayed that way for several hours before anyone turned up to use them. Stolentime should do more to discourage this selfish practice. So, overall my wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Stolentime. It was one of the best holiday experiences we've ever had.
