We had a great stay at Stolen Time. The staff were superb, the location excellent, the room was fantastic and the food was 1st class. Overall a very good experience and would recommend to others.

My husband and I ended up staying at Stolen Time for 8 days (Nov 28th - Dec 6th) to celebrate my birthday. (This was a last minute change of plans after our annual Jamaica trip was cancelled due to Hurricane Melissa). We absolutely loved our stay and had a great vacation. Pros- - Amazing Staff (seriously, from security, grounds crew, waitstaff, bartenders, sports team, room attendants etc. EVERYONE was so friendly and welcoming) - Great food and good variety (love that the Thyme and Malabar restaurant menus changed every few days and reservations were easy to get for both. Beach BBQ and West Indies buffet delightful. Dinner service was fantastic, great pacing, probably the best of anywhere we’ve been) - Drinks were tasty (Good wine selection for both included and manager’s wine list) - Grounds are STUNNING, lush and romantic - Nightly Entertainment was a good mix (and we LOVED Champagne hour!) - Lots of Activities daily 7:15am-5pm (Including motorized water sports) - Nice, clean, spacious rooms (We stayed in a Premium Verandah. Loved the soaking tub and large, spacious balcony) - Nice Beach for swimming and lounging (and great beach service! We loved the fresh fruit, popsicles or fresh coconut water daily). - Pools - 3 total. Swim up Beach, Spa Pool (w/ Jacuzzi) and Lazy River pool (great for cooling off in the afternoon) - Fishing directly off the beach (if you bring your own gear and are experienced). My husband was quite successful and shared his catch with the locals and resort staff Cons- - Noise: There’s nowhere to really hide from it. Hopefully, the resort does some kind of noise reduction efforts. Late night and very early morning are the worst. (There’s some type of bar/nightclub close by and no noise ordinance, you can basically feel the bass shaking starting some nights at 10:30pm and going well into the morning. Being there, unknowingly, during election season likely made it worse, but in any case - bring a white noise machine or plan to play iPad/music on max to drown it out (or hope for overnight rain). Would normally suggest switching to the beachfront rooms away from the road but then you’re just closer to the rooster and barking dogs constantly from 3:30-4:30am… - Horses & Dogs (watch your step, use feet cleaning stations religiously). This is common at a lot of popular Caribbean beaches, but there were A LOT more horses than we typically experience. Horse bros were also the only aggressive/rude vendors on the beach. This is outside of the resorts control but something to be aware of. - Our biggest issue (and only issue with the resort itself) was concierge: Communication was good and responsive prior to arriving via email, but once on-site it was probably the worst we’ve experienced anywhere. You need to hold their hands for any special occasion. Activities weren’t properly posted, miscommunication with spa scheduling, a couple other issues but at least restaurant reservations were easy. Neutral/Side notes: Proximity to Excursions: all of the best tourist attractions are far/long commutes to get there, pleas keep in mind if you have bad motion sickness like me. It wasn’t a surprise for us since we knew going in, but if you like to do a lot of excursions, you’d likely prefer to stay closer to them. We ended up not leaving the resort besides exploring the Castries by foot. (Speaking of which - book with JoJo’s on the beach if you do want to go on an excursion, couldn’t say enough nice things about their on site Rep Kyle. Would have booked with him if excursions were closer) Proximity to Cruise Port: It’s the closest beach for cruise ship passengers. Locals: A lot of folks complain about the locals using the beach on weekends, but we actually enjoyed swimming and chatting with them. We found the vast majority of people to be warm and friendly. Swam with one gentleman whose brother happened attended my Alma Mater - it’s such a large, small world! Close proximity to the regional airport (SLU): it was amazingly smooth and quick for Helicopter transport arrival and departure. You will hear some planes taking off but they’re mostly regional, and not a problem noise-wise. Final thoughts: We loved everything about the resort itself (issues with concierge aside) and will definitely return someday and would recommend it to others.

Fantastic resort, beautiful setting on the beach amongst lush gardens which were constantly being maintained. Amazing food in all restaurants. We especially liked the Malbar restaurant with the "Toes in the sand" experience. Plenty of activities if you want to fill your day or if not relax around the pool and beautiful beach. We stayed in a poolside room with private terrace which was amazing - a truely unforgettable stay at this superior resort.

The resort is 1.3 hr drive from the airport. Also there’s a cemetery next to the resort, not a very good view if you want to make pictures for your memory. There’s no TV in rooms at all. They say it’s what they’re about, “Stolen Time”, but I think it should be optional. The room is good, the bed and pillows are comfortable. We didn’t see any daily activities besides pool aerobics. This was the first resort in 20 years where I didn’t play beach volleyball, despite a nice weather every day. The beach volleyball is on their schedule at 5pm, when everyone already left the beach, I asked several times to move it up the schedule but I guess it was easier to keep it at 5pm, less work when nobody’s there. The beach is public. There’re no private beaches in St Lucia. So on the weekend when schools are close, you’ll see plenty of local kids running around and swimming right in front of you. The food was good. I just wish the restaurants had more choice. There’re just 3-4 dishes to choose from for both, the appetizer and the main course. Of course you can choose extra dish, which you need to pay, I didn’t plan to pay $75 for a lobster, some people recommended in here, not in all inclusive resort. The biggest disappointment for me was the sleepless nights. There’re lots of tree frogs in St Lucia, you can hear them everywhere when the evening starts. When you hear them outside, it sounds nice, romantic. It doesn’t sound romantic at all when you hear it in your room, all night long. One if the tree frogs got inside the utility room, which is on the other side of the structure. Starting at 8-8:30pm and all night long it was making its noise. It’s hard to fall asleep hearing that. I asked the staff multiple times to do something, to check that utility room, to remove the frog. They said they did but couldn’t find any. Would be easier to check it after 8pm when the frog starts her song. We had to use a white noise on my phone to somehow overlap the frog’s noise. The staff is very good, attentive, everywhere, at the beach, restaurants, bars. They’re very polite and treat everybody well. No complains there. Only few people at the bar can make drinks, so you need to be lucky who you get. There was Michael at the pool bar, there were also a couple of female staff at the lounge bar, don’t remember their names. If you find someone who made a good drink, just stick to him/her
