We wanted somewhere special to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We had such an amazing time previously we knew we wouldn't be disappointed. Rendevous is one of those very special and unique hotels that make you feel very special and feel at home. The property is small and intimate and dedicated to couples only and focuses on romance and reconnecting with your partner. If you want loud music and non stop partying this is not the place for you. It's staff are the gem that makes this place so valuable. The customer service is what makes this place so special. There are many returning guests which is a testament to how special it is. The food is excellent and there is a good choice of wine and cocktails included in the all inclusive plan. There is a buffet style restaurant that also serves al a carte 3-4 nights a week. There is the Malabar Beach restaurant that serves in a more relaxed style and the Trysting place which is more formal. Every restaurant is excellent. The beach is stunning, as are the gardens of the property which are beautiful and well kept. The one thing I would expect from a hotel of this quality is for the 2 pools (both quite small) to be better maintained. This is the one thing that I would change. It was really quite grubby and in a poor state of repair during our visit. One of them was shut on our last day for cleaning and maintenance, so hopefully will look better. The rooms are spacious and the beds extremely comfortable. They are kept very clean and well stocked with REN toiletries. The Verrandah Suites are excellent value for money, and some on the upper floor have a sea view also. There is a fabulous water sports team who are happy to help with many of the free water activities. The entertainment team put in lots of activities but never pressure to take part. The bar staff constantly come round the pool and beach to offer cold drinks, ice lollies and cold towels, which is hugely appreciated in such hot weather. Because it was our anniversary the hotel really went the extra mile and gave us free champagne twice, Rendevous T shirts and arranged a special champagne breakfast for us also. Very thoughtful and very much appreciated. Can honestly say this is the first hotel where we haven't felt either intimidated or ignored but feel like valued guests from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Nothing is too much trouble. Would happily go again and again.

As I sit here on our last night with my last cocktail I just wanted to take a moment to reflect on what a fantastic time we have had. We have been here for 2 weeks for our honeymoon and I couldn't of wished for a better hotel. To start with the staff... do not have a bad word to say , they are there for anything you need. My husband - midway through our honeymoon, needed an emergency dentist appointment, the reception staff quickly found a local dentist and booked us in and arranged for us to be taken there and collected. Later that evening when we got back into our room we had a call from reception to make sure he was okay. The beach, pool and evening bar staff could not do more for you , they quickly remember your name and your favoured beverage and bring them over to you without having to move. The activities guys ... what to say about them ! They have been fantastic ! They have lots of great things going on through the day which they don't pressure you into doing if you don't want but I would highly recommend joining in with them as they are a great laugh. A big shout out to Kenzie who not only tried his very best to teach me archery ( which was a struggle) has been a great laugh during our evenings too. Everyone at the dive centre was also fantastic, especially Judy who took us out on 3 dives! I really think the staff make this hotel , nothing is too much trouble. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough for any couple looking for a relaxing holiday with the options for fun adventures too. We will definitely be returning ! Thanks again everyone Ed & Tiff McEwan

If you are looking for a couples only, relaxing, beachfront holiday resort, look no further than Rendezvous. Since arriving we have been impressed by the decor, the level of service and the food although not necessarily in that order! The staff cannot do enough for you, the beaches are clean and the hotel is well maintained. We have been made very welcome and have been encouraged to do as little or as much as we like. No pressure to get involved in the vast range of activities on offer throughout the day which has actually Made us want to join in the fun. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We needed a relaxing holiday where we could do as little or as much as we wanted to and we made the perfect choice. This hotel offers excellent food service and amenities and everything is free aside from some extra costs for diving. The staff were fantastic friendly and attentive in all areas of the resort. The resort itself is small but has everything you could need, as there are only 100 rooms the place would never be too busy but at the time we were there the place was about 60% full so it was perfect. We never had a problem getting a sunbed but the a la carte restaurants can be booked quickly on an evening and the beach restaurant can be busy between 12-30pm and 2pm. Couple of things about the drinks - wine at meal times is often served by the bottle (even the all- inclusive options) so don't panic when they open a bottle in fromt of you and leave it at the table. Most of us thought we were getting something off the non-inclusive menu till we realised, after though it was quite funny watching the new arrivals thinking the same as us but being too polite to say anything. Secondly there is a champagne bar (air- which later in the evening becomes the late bar. Between 7pm and 8pm they have champagne 'tasting' as part of the all inclusive, this is a great way to start the evening before dinner with the resident pianist! There is also an entertainments team, however this is nothing like some of the hotels we have been to, they are not intrusive no loud tannoy or music, just a polite invite to join in with beach volleyball / water aerobics or a 'fun game' at 11am where you can win a t-shirt or a bottle of local rum. Or you could have a go at archery / yoga etc. The rooms could do with a little updating in places especially the air conditioning units however they are comfortable roomy and all have either a view of the gardens or the beach. The gardens are beautiful with the most amazing huge tree as the centre piece and hummingbirds and wildlife in abundance! I read some reviews on here about 'the locals' being noisy, personally i found them quite entertaining either playing in the sea or a game of football further down the beach (not outside the hotel) the beach is not private and the public have access however they seemed to avoid the section right outside the hotel and everyone of them said hello as they passed and we felt perfectly safe walking along the beach well away from the hotel. All in all a great holiday

From the moment we arrived till the day we left we felt as though we had a holiday. Rendezvous is a very special place where every member of staff is happy and smiles whilst at work. They went over and beyond and certainly was exceptional customer service which exceeded our expectations. Their little extra touches and great all inclusive is the best we have experienced. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and throughout the whole day everyone treat us like a king and queen. Lots of little touches like a special anniversary breakfast to fruit and champagne in the room candles in the bedroom it sure was a special day. The hotel is beautiful, lots to do and the food is very good too. It really was that something special so thank you for an amazing holiday we definitely will be back . We had lots of laughs with your staff and many hugs when we left. It was like we visited as a guest but left as a member of the family 🌴🥂🍹🍉🍾🍧 It certainly was paradise
