My family and I recently returned from a week’s stay at the Windjammer Landing and absolutely loved it. For us, Windjammer felt like a home away from home, where you’re visiting much-loved family. It was that welcoming! I’m not sure exactly why, but the size and layout of the resort, the accommodation types, the AMAZING staff, and the people who have been returning here for decades certainly have a lot to do with it. We stayed in a fantastic 2-bedroom hilltop villa with a sprawling patio, a private plunge pool, and absolutely stunning views. The unit was updated, very clean, and well-equipped. It was really nice to have a full kitchen, even if we didn’t utilize it much beyond the basics. The plunge pool was a big hit, and we used it almost daily in the late afternoons and evenings. It was a tad chilly at first, but soooo refreshing after a long day in the sun. As for the shuttle service to get us up and down from the hilltop, it was fantastic - a super short ride, and we never had to wait more than 2 - 5 minutes to be picked up. The main pool is really lovely, though admittedly, we spent most of our time at the beach, which was equally lovely. It’s a horseshoe-shaped beach with white sand and set along a beautiful, calm bay. Unlike some resorts, where getting a lounger is like participating in the Hunger Games, the Windjammer has tons of very nice ones under umbrellas and palapas. No matter the time of day, we never had an issue finding 3 or 4 loungers together. The striped towels were really nice quality too. The food and drinks were good to very good, and the portions were just right. We had particularly good meals at Papa Don’s and the Upper Deck, but we also loved Jammers when we wanted to keep it particularly casual and/or the guys wanted to watch a game. We did the all-inclusive package, which was a good fit for us, but you could easily forgo it if you have a kitchen in your unit. I would just stock up at a grocery store, as the choices at the Windmart can sometimes be a bit limited depending on demand and timing. There was live evening entertainment in the main resort area throughout the week, which we enjoyed. From flame throwers to steel bands, DJs, saxophonists, and singers, it was great. I think it was usually done by 10:00 or 11:00 PM? During the day, I think there was music playing at the main pool, but not in a super loud way, so if you’re looking for a booming club-like vibe, this won’t be the place for you. The water sports were a huge hit for us, and we took full advantage, going tubing, wakeboarding, sailing, snorkeling, and more. Special shout-out to Denver, who went out of his way for all of us, especially our son. I’ll wrap by going back to the staff who were all so incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. They are truly outstanding and are a huge reason why Windjammer is the gem that it is. We had a 10/10 experience at the Windjammer and can’t wait to go back!

This is a stunningly beautiful resort. You cannot fault the beach and pool area for its beauty! The hotel is built on a hill allowing for nice views, but can be tiring to get around, however, the shuttle service is very quick and efficient. We never waited more than 3 minutes for one to arrive. We also really enjoyed the tennis courts. Staff are also, for the most part, very friendly. However it didn’t quite reach our expectations in a few different ways. Our room wasn’t ready on the first day until past 6pm, and even then there were issues with cleanliness. We found an old acrylic nail on the floor in our bathroom. Food is hit and miss. Sometimes delicious (recommend the Italian!), but sometimes genuinely bad (avoid prawn pasta at dragonfly). Not what you expect from a leading hotel. Service is very very slow at times. Get your beach-side lunch orders in early as you may be waiting an hour and a half otherwise! However, drinks / cocktail orders were speedier and delicious! Turn down service is variable. Sometimes you get it, sometimes you don’t. Also, a couple members of our party developed a stomach-related illness (not sure if food poisoning or a virus) and were wiped out for a day. We are aware of other guests on the resort also getting sick, so maybe steer clear if you value your health. Overall an enjoyable and pleasant stay, but value for money is unfortunately not there.

This is a five star looking resort. Location and views are stunning. Depending on which villa you are staying in, it will be 3 or 4 star in reality. Many villas are beautiful but with maintenance and stocking issues that take a long time to resolve. Some villas are old and run down looking. Bath tubs in showers not draining properly, sticky doors and windows, hot water taking 10 minutes to flow, and missing kitchen utensils and gadgets. The food is very overpriced and not very good. We found the food off property, to be more reasonably priced and better quality. The entertainment is hit and miss. There is a lot of noisy construction going on in different areas that is a problem for some. Having said this, it’s a beautiful resort, but with the food and lack of attention to detail, it will never be a five star resort.

We decided to explore the north side of the island after a wonderful stay near Soufriere so we booked a room for two nights here to finish our island stay. The grounds are beautiful and it’s a great spot for families. A few disappointing issues- we had hot water only once, the first evening after we checked in, and never got it even lukewarm warm again for the remainder of our stay. Don’t love cold showers! The bed also needed to be flipped over- it’s clear where people sleep on it because there is a giant lump in the middle of the bed to let you know it’s not there! We did have a leaky sink faucet and the staff did show up to fix it immediately which was great. The food was good- we didn’t do all inclusive because we rarely spend time at hotels when we travel- we want to see the island and explore its beauty! But overpriced for the non all-inclusive guests is the understatement of the year! Room service of a small cheese pizza and a burger cost us $75- that’s insulting but it was our only option at 10:15 pm so we had to do it. I read it before and still think our choice to not pay the extra money for all inclusive was right for us but be prepared to pay a hefty fee for just about everything!

My fourth visit to this beautiful paradise, and somehow it becomes more meaningful every time. When I first visited Windjammer, I met guests who had been returning for 20 years, and I remember wondering why anyone would choose the same place again and again. Now I know exactly why — because Windjammer doesn’t just touch you, it stays with you. It becomes part of your story. Staff: The staff here are nothing short of extraordinary. Their smiles feel sincere, their kindness feels effortless, and their warmth envelops you from the moment you arrive. Every person I met made me feel seen, welcomed, and cared for in a way that is rare and almost impossible to describe. To the entire team — thank you. Truly. Management, you have created a family here, and being welcomed into it is a privilege. Esie, Mr. Norbert, John — your names are etched into my memories of this trip. You didn’t just provide service; you created moments, feelings, and joy that I will carry with me long after I’ve left. Our villa was breathtaking — the kind of view that stops you in your tracks and reminds you how beautiful life can be. I could have lived there forever. And the birthday surprise… it brought tears to my eyes. It wasn’t just delicious — it was thoughtful, personal, and made me feel so incredibly special. Those are the moments that stay in your heart. Restaurants: Every restaurant delivered not just wonderful food, but experiences. Flavours that delighted, meals that lingered in my memory, and settings that invited you to slow down and savour every bite. Not a single dish disappointed — it was perfection every time. Windjammer is my heaven on earth — a place where my heart feels lighter, where the world feels kinder, and where I am reminded of how beautiful life can be when people genuinely care. It’s spotless, stunning, and filled with the kind of warmth you cannot create — it has to be lived. I’m already dreaming about visit number five. 😊
