Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort

Me and my family made the trip early September. Upon setting foot on the property the hospitality of the employees went above expectations. We understand it’s the slow season but truly made us feel welcome and appreciated. We received a free upgrade on the room to a villa in the Manor Collection. Amazing views and could not be more happy with the room. Booked the all inclusive option and I would highly recommend as well. Way easier to not have to think about food, drinks, or snacks. Very happy with the options. Food was overall good. Only one that was less than expected was the steakhouse, but knew it wouldn’t truly match up to an American top of the line steak. Kids really enjoyed and felt taken care of everywhere. We also took part of the activity center, which provides a lot of options for the kids to take part of. Daughter learned knee boarding there. We had a small issue with an Allergic reactions with my son, the nurse on hand and the staff were prompt and willing to help in any way! Can’t say enough about the employees! Overall the trip was well worth it and not long enough! Haha. Would highly recommend staying.

The sunset cruise is a must! Book through the Excursion Desk— it’s about a 2 hr activity, transportation is provided, and it only took about 30 minutes to reach the dock.

current environment at Windjammer Landing has reached a breaking point due to severe executive misconduct, unfair labor practices, and widespread disrespect toward us. While the director-level leadership presents a picture of success, the frontline team that runs this resort daily is suffering under hostile and unethical management. We have the Directors disrespecting us, belittling us. We work our overtime, and then Angela will say she not paying over time. She shouts at us and makes us think that we under her. The Directors has us working double and extra hard, just because they want Forbes and LQA, and there are never enough equipments, and they are only around when they possible Forbes or LQA comes. They treat us very badly. Recently the hired 2 assistant one HR and the other front desk, they are horrible. Why Nick would hire 2 assistant that are in a relationship. Majority of the Directors are sleeping with staff. And they get what they want. Nick favors the males, he sleeps with the male staff, promotes them, takes them places, give them money, look recently he took his boyfriend which is a staff down too La belle. La belle is for the directors to get it good. Their time out fun home. We are suffering here. We get little money, no motivation and feel frightened by the directors. Every director knows what Nick is doing, they know what is going on, even Hildreth with all the cover ups. Look now Nick boyfriend is saying he is renovating the house next to the warehouse for them. We need help at Windjammer. If you think we are lying making up stories, give us a survey without the directors getting involved. From some concern staffs.

We have been to Windjammer 3 times over past few years and it’s one of our favourite destinations. There have been some changes over the years but the staff are all amazing, the dining experience excellent and the quality of the accommodation really good. We will be back!
