My wife and I just got back from our honeymoon at the Windjammer. It exceeded ALL expectations - in particular, the staff are some of the nicest and friendliest I have encountered while travelling. The beach area is in a quiet bay - a long and well maintained beach with plenty of options - kayaking, sunbathing, drinking, tubing - whatever floats your boat, as they say. The folks at the resort legitimately took our stay to the next level. They were friendly, always quick to address any issues, provided helpful advice on local activities, and were great to engage with. Even though we were only there for a week, there were several we felt it necessary to say 'see you next time' to. Our room was a 1-bedroom villa - did I mention the resort upgraded us to having our own 'plunge' pool upon check-in? Plunge is appropriate - the pool is deep enough to (safely) jump into. Terrific wrap around patio balcony with lots of good views and furniture. The food overall is very solid, maybe not great. I'd say B+. If you stick to local (jerk chicken) or seafood (mahi-mahi was terrific) I think you will fare better. Papa Don's was really a cool restaurant in the hills! We went on a few boat tours - the sunset cruise was terrific, the day-sail activities weren't super interesting but the boat ride itself to and from the Pitons is spectacular. I really have nothing bad to say. There are a lot of timeshare owners, so the crowd does tend to skew a little older. However, everyone was super nice to us, and there is definitely a neighborhood or community vibe at the resort, which I think is unlike any of the more generic resorts out there. A handful of families with kids mixed in - was almost never bothered by it, or even that aware of their existence. We can't wait to go back! PS: highly recommend the Gross Islet Block Party on Friday nights if you like to drink and dance!

We were looking for a short luxury break and booked Windjammer just 2 weeks before departure. We decided to go all inclusive which was great value for money as we do enjoy a cocktail or 2! You can eat at any of the 5 restaurants and we tried them all. We liked the food and relaxed atmosphere at Embers on the beach. They also did a great fish fry there on Friday night and a fantastic Sunday brunch. We werent so keen on Papa Dons, though others we spoke to had really enjoyed it, so perhaps we could have been unlucky. We loved sitting at the beach cocktail bar chatting to Nona who patiently answered all our questions about life on St Lucia. The beach is stunning, plenty of room, no rush for loungers and very clean. We had a villa up the hill. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We tended to walk down but used the shuttle to go back up! We never had to wait for a shuttle and the drivers were all friendly and helpful. We dragged ourselves away from the resort for one day and took a speed boat trip, booked with exodus on the beach. This was excellent and meant we got to see the island at quite a pace, great fun! I really can't criticise Windjammer Landings, it was a wonderful treat and I feel very lucky to have experienced such a wonderful holiday. Many thanks to all the staff x

My wife, I, brother, and sister-in-law just returned from Windjammers Landing. We truly enjoyed our stay. The resort was beautiful and the staff extremely friendly. We did choice the 'all inclusive' package (which I highly recommend as the meals are not inexpensive). The food and beverage service was very good. The health club and spa are very new and exceptionally strong for a all inclusive resort. Our only 'hic-up' was our room assignment. We had reserved a two bedroom villa suite. When we arrived, the issued us a standard two bedroom suite (no common area). We asked about an upgrade, they realized they had book us to the wrong room type, but we not able to upgrade us until the next day. Thus, I strongly recommend that travelers know there room type (or even room number) at time of check in. The views are amazing, but realize that the property is very elevated. Great for active couples that like climbing stairs, but difficult for anyone with mobility concerns. Still, they have a 24 hour shuttle service to get you to/from your room when needed. The service is very quick, usually arriving within 5 to 10 minutes from a call. Also, be aware of tipping, while the all inclusive does cover food and drinks, tips are expected and can fun $10 - $30 per meal depending on party size and service quality.

Nothing could be more beautiful than the white villas with terra cotta roofs nestled into the hillside overlooking the deep blue Caribbean and palm studded beach. Due to a water leak, we had the advantage of two rooms. One was a third floor with unbelievable expansive views and total privacy, and then, with a minimum amount of hassle, we were moved to a first floor room still with a great view and steps away from a crystal clear infinity pool. The staff was gracious and friendly and so accommodating. The food in the five restaurants was very good. I would recommend the all inclusive unless you are going for an extended stay in a villa with a kitchen. We had grand plans of utilizing the numerous water sports, but other than a great snorkeling excursion we found the enticement of total relaxation too hard to overcome. Lounge chairs under palm trees, bobbing in the sea watching little fish and , of course drying off in one of the beach side bars. We can’t wait to return!

This is my fifth visit to WJL. Every year it gets better and better. This year I spent time hear with my Spouse, time with girlfriends and time alone. The Staff are far and above the best of ANY of the many Caribbean resort/Island I have been too. Friendly, helpful, caring, hardworking people. The menus and food quality have improved greatly. We chose to eat in our Villa a lot of the time but still visit each restaurant on site at least once and our favourite local off site ones as well. Shout out to Jackie, Andez and Augustine the activities gang for their Aqua fitness finesse! Be sure to visit Nick in the lobby to book any excursions. The sunset cruise and a catamaran to the Pitons are just a couple of trips I would recommend. Dune buggys, mud baths, kayaking, snorkelling and rainforest bike trip recommend them all! Lastly I HIGHLY recommend the Spa. I indulged this year in the Signature Body Treatment and all I can say is this is now an annual must do! Marvelin was amazing ..loved loved loved the treatment!
