Absolutely amazing. It must have been the off season because the resort was very quiet. Everyone we met was extremely nice. At one point we had a 30 person volleyball game going on in the pool. Food was pretty good. Breakfast was better that some of the dinners. Looking to plan our 3 year anniversary at sunscapes next September with a couple we met who we have become very close with. Highly recommend coming to this resort. It was absolutely amazing.

My dive buddy and I decided to make a dive trip in style so we went to Secrets in Cozumel. We booked the VIP section of this all inclusive resort. The ocean view room is excellent and has many amenities. Even the shower gel and shampoo is first rate. The pool with swim up bar is right out off our private patio. There are 6 restaurants to enjoy and we did. The diving is in a class all it's own and we get picked up at the dock right on the property. If you are looking for relaxation and pampering this is the place to go.

This was our second time staying at this Secrets for our Anniversary (we have stayed at Sabor as well). This year we booked Jr Suite Ocean view. We arrived at 10:45 am so of course it was not ready. They graciously held our bags so we could enjoy the resort right away. We wandered the beach, had some munchies and a few cocktails. We were told to come back at 1:00 to see if our room was ready. It was not so we were told to come back around 2:00 and off we went to enjoy ourselves. 2:00 and still no room and by 3:00 loads of vans were coming with people getting their rooms right away. I'm a pretty patient person and I am in paradise but I finally asked the concierge what the deal was. She informed me that they had upgraded us to the Preferred Club Ocean View Swim up Suite and were still waiting for the room to be ready. Are you kidding me?! We were SO excited!! (Thank you Alexander!) Patience definitely paid off here! It didn't take much longer and off we went to our room. The room was amazing! Beautiful room with views of the blue, blue waters. Love the huge dining table, large sectional couch, sliding glass doors on two walls that really opened it up to the outside. It was a corner unit with a wrap around patio. I also loved that the bed was a in separate room. (also had sliding glass doors to patio) Loved being able to hand out in the lazy river after we left the beach. We had such a great time here! Loved that even when we were just hanging out by the pool, the waiter would come by and bring us anything we wanted. Great service! We had no issues with them filling our mini bar at all. I left a note one day requesting Sol beer and they left me some every day :) We did leave a couple bucks in the fridge for tips. It is not housekeeping that fills those so don't short the maids tips if it is not filled for some reason. It seemed to me that they came later to fill it. Every thing was perfect here, did not have a bad meal once. My favorite was the night they grilled on the beach! Thank you to the beach wait staff who work so hard, (they could use more staff ) These folks ran their buts off! A special thanks to Ricardo Mendez (beach bar at Sabor) and to Melee from the entertainment team. You two made me smile so much it hurt my face :) I really can't say enough good things here...We just love it and will definitely be back!! I was so impressed on our first trip that I didn't think they could out-do the service they provided but they took it to the next level and made me love them all over gain! Thank you to the entire staff. What you do each day can make or break someones vacation and I am always impressed with your service!! Thank again, we will be back!!

The property is a little older but it is still nice, just needs a face lift. The beach is very rocky so either you have to go out to the end of the pier and jump into deeper water or just go to the pool. The swim up bars are pretty cool and a load of fun. Food is only average, but I would suggest the beach buffet. Fresh catch of the day and the mahi tacos are good. We went off the property the rest of the stay for dinner. One thing I didn't like is, when we arrived they didn't have our name on the list and had to call corporate. We had to wait for an hour until the maid could geet our room ready and we had to stay in a downstairs ocean view for the first 2-days. We then were moved to the room we paid for, which was a top floor (Only ones with a balcony hot tub) ocean front suite. MAKE SURE TO CALL BEFORE YOU LEAVE SURE THEY HAVE YOU BOOKED CORRECTLY.
