Definitely not the the treatment and service that we’re used to from a Secrets. I would not go back until they did a full renovation and uphold there own preferred policies.

I don’t understand so many negative reviews! I guess some people just have to complain about something. Yes, it’s in need of updating and that’s exactly what they’re doing! We stayed in a preferred room right next to where renovations were happening but it was never an issue. Our room was clean and we had no issues. Loved to sit on our patio and watch the sunset .The customer service and friendliness of the employees was excellent. Food was good at most places. Unfortunately , we were never able to get a reservation at the Sky bar even though we tried every day. The beach and pier are amazing and we enjoyed snorkeling right off the beach. I saw tons of fish, barracuda, and 2 kinds of rays while snorkeling there. Beach shoes are a must as the coral/reef is right as you step into the ocean. We enjoyed watching all of the boats and cruise ships going by. There were always enough chairs no matter if it was beach or pools. I would recommend booking Preferred for the drinks and rooms. Overall, my husband and I had a wonderful time.

My husband and I stayed here Feb 2026 for 8 nights. Overall, we had an amazing trip! We flew into Cancun and took the ferry over so we arrived around 8pm. Our king size room was not available until Saturday. We ordered room service and went to bed. Saturday our room was ready around 3:45. The staff were very good. Our room was exactly what we booked. It was clean. It is dated and needs a few repairs, so if you are a resort snob, this likely isn't the place for you. If you appreciate great staff, wonderful beaches, and the regular food at an all inclusive resort, you'll like it here. The A la Carte restaurants were good, but I preferred the buffet. There is no reservation process for the A la carte restaurants, so if you are not there by the first seating, you will wait 2 hours in line. Make sure to bring pants if you want to eat inside as they do hold to the pant policy for the restaurants. Buffet is casual though. Bring water shoes to save your feet when you go in to bob in the waves. We also brought some floaties which was the key to staying out in the water. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and trip. Again, if you are a resort snob, probably need to stay somewhere else instead of leaving bad reviews. But we loved it and it met all our expectations.

Never felt the ease of a vacation I kept being told different rules by different staff to many people hounding to buy stuff staff expecting tips to get get decent service one little mishap and it was hard getting drinks and food if they didn’t like you the whole experience felt more like Juárez Mexico not Cozumel

We went with 2 other couples because they frequent Hyatt resorts, and it was so underwhelming. The first room we were in was clearly distressed. They acknowledged our booked room wasn’t available the first day and moved us the second day. The second room was ok. It seems like they must be in the middle of remodeling or something because many of the rooms are really bare. Of the 3 couples, our second room was the only one that was as expected. Then the food…. It was almost inedible at times. The French restaurant was pretty good, and Oceana was good for lunch. The rest was really bad. Want to be really underwhelmed? Order anything Mexican from the room service menu. Honestly, the only food that was as expected were the poolside burgers they did at lunch, but skip the fries. I can’t believe people sign up for the vacation club based on visiting this resort.

Truly a five star place - the resort never seemed crowded and maintained a quiet vibe. The food was outstanding at every meal. I would recommend this resort to anyone at any time without blinking. We will definitely return to this resort.
