Secrets Aura Cozumel

It was ok, I felt it should have been above average, but many other places we have stayed are lower in cost and would be above average. The food was not all that good, example the sea food restaurant really should have more sea food less other foods and it should be fresh and good tasting.

Property is showing it's age, but staff were fantastic and food good. Water shoes are a must if you plan on going into the sea.

We had a great stay at Secrets. The resort offered a well-equipped gym with everything we needed to keep up with workouts, and the spa was spotless and relaxing. The staff really stood out—everyone was warm, attentive, and ready to help. Over our 10 days, we ended up switching rooms a few times due to small issues, but the team handled each change smoothly and made sure we were comfortable. Wendy and Paulina from the activities team brought amazing energy every day, and Victor was an outstanding server. The hostess at Oceana was always a delight, even though her name escapes me. Overall, the service made the experience memorable, and we left extremely satisfied with our stay.

Location of this hotel is in a very nice place great beaches . The atmosphere was a really nice rooms were questionable. Our room was not available on check-in. We booked a privilege room. They moved us to the dreams privilege next door. not as nice. The atmosphere was very nice at both places.The value that I paid for the hotel was a really good price and the cleanliness very nice. Very good and no noise very quiet. We enjoyed the Oceana restaurant, most restaurants had very lack of food compared to other secrets. Staff Omar, Gabriel, Sergio and Victor especially Victor was way beyond expectation. Thank you Victor for your help. Other than that, our experience was nice.

After reading too many negative reviews, we were leery about booking here. We have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything. In all honesty, some of the food quality was challenging. But the local cuisine that the chefs were able to prepare, Mexican night at the buffet to use as an example, was a home run. Shoutout to Javiar at Manatees swim up bar who recommended a passion fruit mezcal. The perfect pool drink. And, Laura at the coffee shop.
