\My husband and I have been members of RCI for many years... traveled the entire Caribbean, Europe and Mexico. This is the first time that we were extremely disappointed. Secrets Cabo San \Lucas set the bar really high for a Secrets resort. Aura Cozumel did not have the service we expected. Food was fair ..Windows restaurant had horrible food to the point that we walked out without finishing our meal. The drinks tasted horrible too...they all had a metal taste. must have been the mixers they used. Even a Pina Colda tasted bad...I drank beer most of the time and Im not a beer drinker. Room service was slow and never came with silverware. Definitely had a sewer problem (outside building 500 - preferred) the full 7 days we were there. room service dishes sat outside the room next to us for 3 days. Turn down service didn't show 2 nights, therefore we didn't have the next days itinerary. Front desk never brought it when we requested either. Needless to say, we will never return to this Secrets resort...

Spent the last 6 days with spouse and friends. Relaxing and service was nice. It’s always fun to try new foods and drinks. We did have rain And wind but made the best of it and staff helped make the best of the weather . Thanks for exceeding our expectations with rose pedals, candles and turn down service. Always makes me feel special. The sky bar is absolutely amazing for sunsets-drinks are great there too!

We traveled Feb. 10 - 17, 2018. We really enjoyed our stay here. The food was really good. Breakfast as usual was terrific. Lunch was really good at the buffet. So much fresh fruit! Loved it. The 3 restaurants were really good. We had very enjoyable evenings. They served us drinks on the beach and even brought us French fries in the afternoon for a snack when asked. The Beach is rocky but you could find your way out to smoother sand. The Snorkeling right along the beach was Fantastic! We did do a snorkel excursion which was really nice. Our room was very spacious and clean. We had the bottom floor and walked right out to the pool. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation!

sitting in Atlanta airport waiting for my connecting flight home to Philadelphia. Thought I would write down my thoughts while still fresh. First let me say don't take too much stock in the bad reviews. This resort is beautiful! If you like to scuba or snorkel even better yet. All the bartenders, maids, wait staff and even grounds people couldn't be friendlier. Shout out to Jose trimming the bushes around the preffered pool. Also Issac in the Preffered guest area. He couldn't have been more helpful. Thanks for a wonderful time. If you don't mind paying a little extra definitely get a preferred club room. we had a second floor overlooking the preffered pool and had a beautiful view of the beach as well. Room 525. Yes there are some minor flaws but none that are even mentionable. Every resort has them no matter how much you pay! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is they could do a little better with the food at the buffet! But the individual restaurants have some really good food! Views of the sunset spectacular! Swim up bars amazingly fun to meet new people! Go have fun and relax! God knows we did! Thank you Secrets!

My husband and I decided to go to Secrets Cozumel to relax before our baby is born. Somehow the hotel knew about our babymoon plan and decided to turn a romantic getaway into the most amazing weekend of our lives. Our room had an amazing view and it was decorated for us with so much love and detail, I couldnt believe my eyes. Everywhere we went , we were surprised with a little bear that reminded us of our babymoon. I collected them all and brought them home with me. Javier, the front desk manager, and Nelly, The Chief concierge took care of us so dearly. they are just thoughtful, caring and charming beyond believe. The hotel is cozy and the staff makes you feel like royalty. The food is great. The guacamole at Sunny side pool restaurant is delicious the real thing!!! Bordeaux serves an exquisite rack of lamb. I enjoyed the omelette station at Market Cafe. To figure out the resorts quickly, walk by the beach and you will see how most restaurants are beachfront and how you can go from Sunscape to Secrets. Entertainment team was cheerful and fun. the Spanish lesson idea was so cool! Anyone would love to take a Spanish lesson at the beach while sipping on a Piña Colada and looking at the sea!!! Getting from the ferry to the hotel is not hassle at all. Taxi drivers in the island are corteous and plentiful. Taxi is about $20 usd each way
