We drove here from SoCal, and enjoyed the trip. We were here in August 2017, and the weather was perfect (high 70s days, low 60s at night) allowing comfortable swimming, horseback riding and hiking. This resort is highly ranked in Travel & Leisure's Best Resorts in America, and it definitely earns that praise. We stayed in the "Poolside" cabin for 3 nights, and then 1 more night in a cabin further out on the property. We enjoyed Poolside the most, even though it is lower priced, because it is better laid-out, beautifully furnished, and allows a very short walk to the pool and lodge/lobby/restaurant. Everything on this property is wonderfully maintained, and gorgeous. But it was the personal service we received that impressed us most. By our second day, almost everyone knew our names and recognized us. The wait staff, housekeepers, front desk and concierge people were awesome. So was Sarah, our wrangler for our trail ride. She was so much fun, very sweet, and knowledgeable. We had her to ourselves, as the only two people on this lunch ride. We definitely recommend that you do this. The horses at the ranch are wonderfully cared for, with excellent grooming, very large pastures, etc. We loved everything about our visit to Triple Creek, and will definitely be back. It's worth every mile of the trip to rural Montana, for the experience.

We returned to TCR for our vacation this year because we had such a wonderful experience last year (see my earlier review.) I don't know how they keep to such a high standard of quality and service, but they do. This year we went in the fall as opposed to last year's summer visit. The weather was "brisk" and we had a dusting of snow which added to the vist; coming from warm (hot) California it was a nice change. As I said in the past, it is the staff that make this venue so special. Everyone knows their job, everyone does their job, and it seems that everyone likes their job as well as those they work with. We enjoyed being served by Christy, Mike, Annie, Denie and the other wonderful people in the dining room... and they seemed to enjoy serving us. No special request was too difficult for the kitchen staff to do... and we made plenty of them (like 4 and 1/2 minute (exact) soft-boiled eggs!) Which brings us to the food. It is just amazing how the chefs do what they do. The meals are highly seasoned so if you don't like seasoned food, tell them in advance. Some of the most ambitious tastes are in the amuse-bouche they serve at each dinner. The complementary wine or beer they serve is first-rate... but for those who are really into wine, they have a huge selection to choose from and a sommelier to help you make a selection. Brenda at the front desk and Wes and Alex in the Activity Center were terrific, as were the riding guides we had... Derrick, Cat, Hanna, Mike, etc. We did a lot of riding... up and down the mountain trails. I wish they would let us run the horses, but they don't for insurance reasons. At TCR you will learn what is often attributed to Winston Churchill: "There's something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man." Go to TCR. You will love it there.

Two and a half days felt like merely an appetizer. The best appetizer ever, but still — not enough. What an idyllic realization of every Big Sky expectation. Gorgeous rolling hills, brilliant colors, unspoiled land, bright stars, and a blanket of sky everywhere. As beautiful as the landscape is, though, it’s the indefatigable hospitality that makes the largest impression. This is customer service at a new level. Every staff member aims to please and is right on point. The food is incredible and plentiful. Repeat guests are everywhere on the ranch and I’ll be joining them. Bravo.

Awesome really does not fully describe our experience at Triple Creek Ranch. Beyond the excellent service, attention to detail, wonderful cabin, steam shower, bed, hot tub, remarkable chef, attentive wait staff, activity center, and the most beautiful scenery, there is a personality to this Ranch. They literally treat you like you are the most important person who ever walked through their doors. A major thank you to Kenny, Devon, and Dave who all went the extra mile to make our horseback riding, nature safari, and fly fishing experiences the best ever. We definitely will return!
