To say that my visit to the Lodge at Woodloch was transcendent would be an understatement. I almost don’t want to talk about the many delightful surprises that greeted me during my stay because it might take away from another’s experience, but, alas, I must. As a very tired working mother, I was seeking a solo trip to simply rest. Truly, to just be. So when I was greeted with a welcome packet with the quote “Come to the Woods to Rest,” I was almost in tears. The hospitality in this beautiful, nature-driven aesthetically, pleasing oasis began long before checking with the concierge call to plane your spa treatments, activities and dinner reservations. This continued on site with the cheerful greeter at the gate who had my name on their list and welcomed me. Valet greeted me and whisked my luggage and car away without the awkward valet ticket and tip exchange. I tried to tip because I’m so used to this but was graciously declined as the gratuity is truly included for all services without question. I was able to take advantage of all services and facilities while waiting for my room to be ready which I highly recommend. There are plenty of lockers, robed and slippers and the plethora of daily activities to enjoy and shouldn’t go to waste if you can arrive early. And the food! Every meal, farm to table and curates on the premises, was delicious, healthy and beautifully presented. A personal highlight for me was the Therapeutic Latte menu! Dinners were especially wonderful with a soft, solo guitarist playing as one dined. I enjoyed Craig (CJs) “‘s lovely nature walk where he shares his in depth knowledge and passion for the trees on the trails surrounding the property, while gathering ingredients for a lovely meditative tea that concluded our walk. The spa treatments were top notch, the pools, waterfall spas and hot tubs very therapeutic and relaxing. Attention is in the details down to the detail of having the sound of chirping songbirds piping in the speakers to every bathroom on the property. Nice touch! Food and healthy refreshments were always available during snack times, at the fitness center and in the spa lounge. The fitness center was large and fully equipped. I stayed in a Junior Suite, which was a beautifully designed room that lended to the nature around us. Another design detail was that each room had a veranda with the building designed such that the verandas were staggered so you felt yours was the only one with no one directly beside you nor in your site line. The bed was so comfortable, plentiful accommodations and toiletries in the bathroom for a truly top notch, adult only spa experience. With only 59 rooms, and the added choice of my reservation being part of a mid-week special ( which I recommend), I never felt crowded in the space. I truly felt exclusive and taken care of. I can’t talk highly enough about this truly restful, quiet, introspective, and mentally rejuvenating experience!

I am a frequent guest at the Lodge because it’s an amazing value for an all-inclusive spa. Whether it’s solo or with friends or family, it’s always wonderful. I’ve been to the pricier ones in Arizona and east coast and they don’t compare. You MUST get the Traditional Eastern Therapeutic Bodywork with Erik. There isn’t an issue he hasn’t been able to resolve (arthritic joints, frozen shoulder, digestive issues, post-mastectomy nerve pain). My friends and I call him the miracle worker for a reason!

A perfect wellness getaway with a variety of classes and hiking trails. The meals are excellent and farm to table. The rooms and building are warm and comfortable. This was my third trip and I’ll be back.

The Lodge at Woodloch is a wonderful experience. Every stay is perfection! The Lodge is beautiful! The people at the Lodge are warm, nice, helpful, knowledgeable and really add to the Lodge experience. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The grounds are lovely with many walks available. Any season is beautiful at the Lodge! The class schedule never disappoints and is full of exceptional art, hiking, nature, workout, cooking and more classes! The spa facilities and the therapists are all excellent. The food is consistently excellent and varied. Many vegetarian options! Words I would use to describe many fabulous times here would be calm, peaceful, fun, educational, centering, relaxing, encouraging, and nice. I look forward to returning each time. Tips: Book activities and spa appointments as early as you can.

Excellent stay; the staff and amenities never disappoint! Can't wait to return! Shout out to the ladies (I only saw ladies doing this, but maybe there are men too ;) who dust and wipe everything down! They keep TLaW sparkly, and I noticed--never see dust anywhere--even the chandeliers! Two activities that were a great addition was the Sights & Sounds of Mindful Silence (you sit in a moon pod bean bag chair listening to hand pan music via headphones while meditating/relaxing.) Whomever thought of that activity was genius! I also loved the Tranquil Float; another genius addition!
