My and my husband has a great time! the rooms are beautiful the excursions are fun and the employees there are amazing! the village of Hopkins where the resort is located is filled with the friendliest people I've ever met! If you stay at Belizean Dreams you have to see Alex's shop its a few minute gold cart rise down the road you also have to see Melvin in the yellow gift shop! they are amazing people. Santiago was the best server we had all week and Eric was a fun driver and very nice. Miriam, Charles and Esvan at the bar were equally our favorites. We had a blast. book this resort. its very pretty.

We had a great time at this resort. The staff was absolutely wonderful. George, Julian, Miriam, Debbie, Ernesto and Charles were an absolute pleasure. We rented villa #4 for our stay and the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. When you rent the entire villa you get access to the full kitchen and living room which was nice to have when our group just wanted to relax inside.  We decided to go all inclusive with the Mayan Jungle package. It included breakfast, lunch, bar snack and unlimited local alcoholic beverages.2 scheduled excursions are also included in this package. Be sure to check their schedule with the dates you are staying to make sure the tours are offered on the days you are on vacation; otherwise you will have to pay an additional fee to go on a tour off schedule, which is understandable. The food was pretty good; the best meal was the surf and turf. The menu is a bit limited and you can only eat meals during scheduled breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack times. The dinner menu is different every night which keeps it interesting. My favorites were the coconut pancakes with vanilla syrup for breakfast and you MUST try the Lemon Habanero wings for a bar snack. They are amazing and I got them every day during our stay. The mosquito bite and salty dog were our group’s favorite drinks. Excursions: The Mayflower Hike is intense if you are not in shape or an experienced hiker. But the falls and view at the top are worth the hike. The water is cold but very refreshing! The Cave Tubing and Zip Lining tour was really fun! George made the drive interesting, kept us entertained and he told us about all the places along the way. The best part about this tour is the cave tubing. Be sure to get the BBQ chicken for lunch, you won’t regret it!  After the tour George took us to the Marie Sharps Hot Sauce factory, it was not a part of the tour but he accommodated us which was really nice! This resort does offer a snorkeling tour to their sister resort CoCo Plum which all the other guests raved about. If we had more time would have gone on that tour. We went on a snorkeling/diving excursion to the Blue Hole with Hamanasi (resort next door) instead which was AMAZING! Overall, Belizean Dreams is a very nice resort and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff is what makes me give these resort 5 stars. We would stay here again if we ever decided to vacation in Belize again!  Thanks for having us!

Belizean Dreams is a small, family-owned resort. I loved that you had a view of the ocean from every room - some are just set further back. Because it is such a small resort, we never had to share the small private beach with more than 5 or 6 other people, and often we were alone. Also, the furthest rooms are only 100 feet or so from the beach, so it's easy to stop by to change clothes or drop things off between swimming, meals, and other activities. The food was excellent. The restaurant offers a rotating menu for lunch and dinner. Breakfast does not rotate, but there are enough options for you to have variety if you want it. As long as you do not stay for more than a week, you won't have the same lunch or dinner twice - but I wouldn't have minded repeating a few! There is a popular beach bar that fills up most evenings. People will walk over from neighboring resorts, too. It's cheerful, but not rowdy, usually. It also serves bar snacks throughout the day. One of the best things about it being a small resort is that you quickly get to know the staff, and they get to know you. You can simply walk into the restaurant, sit down, and be served without any fuss. They immediately learn your name and whether you are all-inclusive. It was nice developing a rapport with them. I think that, it being a local family-owned business, the resort must pay fairly and treat the employees well, because they all seem to genuinely enjoy their work. It was noticeably different from large international resorts we have stayed at before. I was afraid, with a small resort, it would be difficult to have time to ourselves, because all the other guests would want to bond with us. The opposite turned out to be true. People who felt social would gather in the bar, and honeymooners and others who preferred to keep to themselves would claim beach loungers or hammocks. It worked out quite well. The tours were excellent. The tour guide, George, is friendly, funny, and extremely competent. He handled logistics seamlessly, and he would pass long car rides with interesting narratives about Belize's ecology, history, culture, politics, and economy. Be aware that some of the tours are three hours away or more, so you might want to steer away from those if you don't fancy spending the whole day in the car. That being said, there isn't a single tour I didn't enjoy. Belizean Dreams is small, intimate, friendly, and makes you feel extremely cared for. I recommend it for anyone!

First of all, I want to thank the great people at Belizean Dreams for the wonderful hospitality on my wife and I's honeymoon in September. I have been to several other countries and all inclusive resorts and this is BY FAR my favorite! These people have nailed what it exactly is to be a small and peaceful all inclusive resort! The set up is perfect. We had an ocean front room and it was BEAUTIFUL! Literally open up the door, take two steps off your deck and your on the sand. The water is so calm in the morning and it's so amazingly peaceful. The room is small, but we had everything we needed. Having the tiki bar adjacent to the beach and right next to the pool is awesome. My wife really enjoyed the kayaks available to use at any time. It's so peaceful and quiet that you kind of have to tell yourself that it's ok to not have a lot to do and just sit back and enjoy it. The staff was beyond friendly! The bartenders were great, the waiters/waitresses were awesome. George the tour guide is probably one of the smartest people I've ever met in my life. Extremely informative and nice! This was the nicest staff I've ever dealt with at an all inclusive resort. The food and drinks were amazing! The food is to die for. You HAVE to try the Caribbean Pizza. Never thought I would want pizza all the way down in Belize, but hands down the best pizza I've ever had. Never had one bad meal. Hopkins the town is what we really fell in love. They call it "The Friendliest Village in Belize". Couldn't find a more fitting name for this town. Everyone makes you feel so welcomed. We rode into town a couple of times on the golf carts that are provided by Belizean Dreams. We ate at a local restaurant, had a drink at a local bar, and I even got to play basketball at the local courts with some of the locals. Definitely unlike anything else I've got to experience in any of the other countries I've visited. We were a little skeptical about how comfortable we would feel in town, but it's so much better than we anticipated. The Belizean way of life is so simple and admirable. No one is hassling you for a handout or trying to sell you something. Such a beautiful group of people in the village! Bottom line, if you are looking at a resort for a honeymoon or get away, you MUST check this place out! We will be back sooner than later. I doubt I can talk my wife into going anywhere else from here out!

We had not been on a vacation in almost 3 years and have always wanted to go to Belize. We did not want any large resort and given that we did not know much about the country other than we were told it was beautiful, we start our internet search for some sort of all inclusive. We found Belizean Dreams which was perfect for what we wanted, While it was a long trip for us (10 hours to arrive at our destination and 13 hours to come back home because of customs) we knew the moment we arrived we made the right choice. Belizean Dreams, what we think of as a boutique all-inclusive, had everything we wanted. The property is meticulously maintained, the food is delicious and well proportioned, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and our room was very clean and spacious (we stayed on the second floor). The scenery from our balcony was specular and to be able to see the water and watch the sunrise and sunset was breath taking. Balizean Dreams has carts for rent and we were able to drive around Hopkins and take advantage of all the local cuisine and shopping. Since we just wanted to do our own thing we choose the Just Chillin package but did take advantage of the Snorkeling trip with a stop to their sister resort at Coco Plum island....what a treat. This vacation was absolutely the best and must give a shout out to the Bar Tenders, Charles, Miriam and Esvan (spelling?). We can only give the maximum of 5 starts but in our opinion, Belizean Dreams deserves 10 stars.
