We stayed at the Zoetry Paraiso de La Bonita and took the day trip Wahoo Express over to the Island of Isla Mujeres. Rented a golf cart and was able to have lunch at their CASA ROLANDI restaurant. What a lunch it was! Friends have stayed at this Zoetry and raved about it so had to try their lunch. Prosciutto with melon to start was so large and fresh, could have been my lunch. This was followed by Fish fillet wrapped in banana leaves seasoned with a Mayan sauce, onion, tomatoes and habanero. Also Excellent. Style of service vs other Zoetry was so different in a positive way. Entree Dishes were brought covered and all opened at once by staff. Staff was excellent. Potato Gnocchi with four cheese sauce, tomato or pesto sauce also was very good. Rooms are slightly smaller here vs La Bonita.

Wonderful exclusive resort. Impeccable service our whole stay, personalized, friendly and dedicated. Their attention to detail is very impressive. Both restaurants are excellent, there wasn't one item we didn't like! Isla Mujeres is beautiful, we visited the whole island over a few days. Great vacation!

Welcome Home upon arrival truly describes how we felt during our stay. The staff from Juan Carlos poolside to Maria and Bernice each time we passed ensured all our needs were met. The food is outstanding!

My wife and I booked an 8-night stay through Delta Vacations at Zoetry Villa Rolandi to celebrate our belated honeymoon. We were looking for a place that was small, had a beautiful beach, had great food, and a general relaxing atmosphere--Zoetry Villa Rolandi fit the bill for us. The ferry-ride from Cancun to Isla Mujeres was short and came with complimentary sparkling wine, where we met Alexander who works at the front desk and was overall very helpful during our stay. All of the staff treated us the same as any other hetero couple and we also noticed about 3-4 other gay couples during the stay. So if you are concerned, do not be. We were happily surprised! For our first 5 nights, everything was wonderful. Unfortunately, on the 6th day we had an incident occur that caused us to leave a day early. My wife and I received a couples massage and while I was in another Spa treatment she caught a male spa employee in the women’s locker room rifling through a guest’s purse. We found out later after talking to the woman that she had actually locked her purse away and so he had actually taken it out to steal from it. Luckily, nothing appeared to be stolen on that day due to the encounter. On that day the general manager was not available, and so reception had us confront the spa employee, who refused to admit that he was in fact stealing. The entire experience was very uncomfortable and made us feel unsafe, so we changed our flight to one day earlier. A day later, the manager Marco was available and met with us to discuss the situation. He handled it very well and took our concerns seriously, promising to fire the employee as this was completely unacceptable. We also received an email from Marco the following week with further apologies and he said that the employee was fired. He also provided us with a voucher for a free 3-night stay at any Zoetry of our choosing to be used within a year. So yes, definitely an issue but we still give this a 4-star because the resort and staff were amazing. It was still one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Despite the incident, we would still like to return to Zoetry Villa Rolandi one day. So if you’ve made it all the way through this review, here are some Pros and Cons to leave for you to make your own decision! Pros * Great food! We asked on the first day if there was carrot juice, and they did not have it. After that, they brought carrot juice to us without even asking every morning, so good :) * Never crowded on the beach or pool even though it is a small place (again, a plus for us) * Beautifully maintained: grounds were clean, rooms were just like advertised, and the Bvlgari toiletries smelled great * Intimate atmosphere where people are not bugging you nor having corny entertainment * Iguanas and birds everywhere, we loved it! Cons * Spa services are very expensive and the whole stealing issue * Golf cart service means you have to take a treacherous taxi ride into the downtown to even get one, it’d be great if they had an option to rent right at the resort * Old bikes, it is such a small island that if the bikes were better maintained we would have used them to get around for a few trips out of the resort * Sparkling wine was provided in our room every night, but no cups to drink it from. That seems like an easy fix. * The 6-head shower did not have enough pressure to be fully functional

Awesome boutique hotel with incredible service from the moment the private yacht picks you up at the port. You will want for nothing, this hotel staff really took service to a whole new level. Berenice from Unlimited Vacation Club was really awesome, she was spot on with every little detail of planning for us. Our server Juarez constantly had his eye on everyone to make sure you had anything you needed at all times. The food was excellent, basically cooked to order, every dish was excellent. The Hotel was positioned so every room overlooked the incredible view of the sea. Best trip ever!
