We stayed at the resort for eight nights in early February. The start of the trip was slightly unfortunate as there was a confusion in room availability for my us and one other couple. Alexander, the manager was very gracious and rectified the situation beyond our expectations. We have stayed at 8 Secrets properties and one other Zoetry brand resort. This property offers the best food that I have experienced at any all-inclusive. Very classic styled menu items, fresh fish, and a beautiful over the water view while dining makes for a great experience. I need to mention that the service by Genner and Dennis was faultless. The bike tour with Ricardo was a great was to see the island. He was a wonderful guide. Pool service for an informal lunch and drinks was excellent- thanks Juan Carlo! Karen at the Concierge desk was always helpful and provided superior service. Rooms are comfortable, very attentive maid service, comfortable beds, and excellent air conditioning. If you are looking to unwind, and do not need constant activities to keep you entertained, this is the place.

I’d like to start by saying I don’t search for negatives. I’d never have a good time anywhere if I did. I had so much anxiety about the airport and transfers. It was flawless!! Olympus was right there to take me to the pier and a short time later the lovely boat arrived and I had the pleasure of sharing the ride to Zoetry with Marco the GM. Cool scented towels was so refreshing while enjoying the crystal blue water. My room wasn’t ready so I was escorted to the restaurant and had the best shrimp cocktail in a grapefruit! The room was lovely. 3rd floor as requested. Plenty of space. Plenty of privacy. The hot tub takes forEVER to fill so keep that in mind. Worked great though. Room service was so fast and always hot. I always got a great table at Rolondis even when people who were not staying there were dining. I tried some different foods I’d never eaten and was truly amazed. The beach was small and intimate and wonderful. Loved the healthy drinks they would pass around every day and the noon massage quickie! Being a solo traveler I really didn’t wanna do the golf cart thing so the concierge suggested a wonderful taxi driver named Ana Laura (prob spelled wrong). it was the best day ever!! Cost less than the golf cart and she was a treasure. Knew all the history. Stopped whenever I wanted. Took my pics. She spoke great English and at the end it felt like we were long time friends. The adults only pool was closed the whole week due to construction on that deck. That’s where my only negative comes in. And it wasn’t with the resort. It was with other guests. There are very few rules here. And a lot of people can’t obey them. Like claiming a chair at 8 am and not showing up till 3pm?? At the saltwater spa pool there shouldn’t be alcohol and partying. And yet at sunset there were people sitting on the edge of the pool blocking the view. That’s just ignorant! Went on one sunset cruise which was amazing! Still trying to think of names for the color of that water....windex? Leaving was sad but just as flawless. Zoetry confirmed all my transport and I left with hugs from all my new family and memories that will last till I visit again

Villa Rolandi defines perfection. We will never be able to stay in a larger hotel again! From the private yacht transfer with a fantastic crew to the exceptional cuisine, we were totally impressed. Alexander, Kevin and team at the front desk were most accommodating, Dennis in the restaurant was a fantastic waiter, and Juarez and Juan Carlos at the pool and beach were amazing. Marco Sorti, the General Manager, was always available and was very friendly and helpful-he made you feel like you were part of the family. The guest rooms were beautiful and offered every amenity. We both had great massages at the spa and the staff was wonderful. The sunsets were great to watch from the salt water pool. We can't wait to go back!

This is the first time we stayed with Zoetry. We chose Isla Mujeres because we like boutique hotels and the reviews were great. It lives up to those great reviews and more. We will be back! It starts with the private catamaran that picks you up at the pier in Cancun, offering you champagne to kick off your vacation. We used Amstar for transportation to and from the airport to the pier and it was seamless. The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained and the room had a amazing view- the prettiest water we've ever seen- and we have been everywhere in the Caribbean. The Room has great amenities including the awesome steam shower and the outdoor Jacuzzi tub! The pools are beautiful- one is heated which was awesome. Also a large hot tub pool. But don't dismiss the non heated pool-on nice days -that one is a gem. The views from the pool are breathtaking. But of course you can always relax on the beach. The beach is small- yes- but gorgeous and easy to swim or snorkel. We did take a day trip to North Beach which is also beautiful but crowded and loud- it makes you appreciate our small private pristine beach back at the hotel. The main restaurant is situated right on the water so you have beautiful waterfront dining every night. There is a small gym and yoga in the morning. We loved the afternoon healthy smoothie and cucumber eye mask! Ok- the food- Amazing. You have no idea its an all inclusive- we are from NYC- we know good food. Ok- the service- AMAZING- Perhaps what brings your whole vacation together here is the pampering you get from the amazing staff. Everyone greets you with a smile. A special shout out to our amazing waiter in the main dining room -Dennis- he is great. Dennis makes you feel like you are his only table. Juan Carlos at the pool was also especially attentive and went out of his way to take care of us. All the pool guys and the waiter staff are great. We also have to mention Hilario at the "cozy bar". We visited him nightly for our chocolate martini. He is so chill - you must visit Hilario- on your stay. Emmanuel deserves a special mention- he delivered our room service several times - sets everything up beautifully in the room - always with a smile. And Malena at reception works hard to make you feel welcome. So there you have it- amazing people in a beautiful setting- makes an amazing vacation! A few more comments- Perhaps the only criticism is that the wine in the all inclusive is not very good. Its doable but if you are a wine drinker- like us- you will end up buying a bottle with dinner. There are these VIP coupons you'll get from the concierge which took 10 bucks off a bottle a wine. The rest of the drinks and beer are good This is a place to completely relax- if you want games at the pool, recreation and nightlife- this is not for you. Its primarily an adults only place so if you have kids you'll want something more kid friendly. Lastly- renting golf carts- it is really pricey 90$ cash only at the hotel. It wasn't worth it for us. I think I'd advise taking a cab into town for $8 each way and rent for a few hours. We met a couple downtown who paid $40 for the day. One last thing- bring cash for tips- you are going to want to tip the staff- they are so amazing. Don't worry- they don't act like you are supposed to tip them- but trust me- you are going to want to.

We stayed with Zoetry Villa Rolandi in February of 2018. Booking was very easy, and the email communication for the private transfers on the boat was great. When arriving, everyone is very friendly. Alex met us and they took our bags to the boat. We waited for about 10 minutes on another couple, but the couple was late. So instead of inconveniencing us, they sent us ahead to the resort. We got to the resort and we're escorted to check-in. It was smooth and efficient. We were pleased to hear that we got upgraded to a better room. The facilities are clean and nice. The food is very good for an all inclusive. Most of the staff is very friendly. We had dinner in our room one night with another couple we met at the resort, and got a noise complaint against us. We were talking a little too loud I guess, although it didn't feel that way to us. The man who showed up told us to "Shut up." It was 8:45 p.m. and we were disturbing some guests trying to sleep. I was a little upset that at the choice of words, but I think he lost a little in his translation...at least I hope so. I called the front desk and they weren't very nice about it either. We had no music going, and it was 8:45 p.m. Some things you need to know. It is a very small resort. One restaurant so the options are limited. Understand that there is no swim up bar. This was not a problem because the place was not crowded, and Carlos is the man! In busy season, I would think this could be a problem. The beach is super small, and they do allow other people on the beach...we met a couple that had a house a little further down, and was hanging out. I won't be back here due to size alone. If you came with 2 or 3 couples, you would feel a little out of place due to how quiet everyone is. That is a great thing, don't get me wrong, but just not for us. Try it and see if it's for you.
