Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge

The photos and videos can never do this property justice. From the minute we arrived several team members were there to assist and welcome us with a traditional Maasai performance. We were stunned at the properties natural beauty. This is the most lush, dense gorgeous jungle like Forrest I’ve ever seen. Nothing can quite prepare you to see an elephant from your room in that kind of environment. It’s makes your heart skip a beat. This is the kind of place where you can take a deep breathe and be present with nature and the people you’re traveling with. The food and drink program was sensational. Everything we ate was delicious from breakfast to dinner all served à la carte. They do a nice mix of western and Swahili options and everyone should be able to find something they enjoy. My wife and I are vegan and vegetarian and still we could not stop eating. Team members could not do enough for you. The rooms themselves were immaculate but every person we encountered was so thoughtful and intentional. Ursula, Nobert and so many others will be people we remember for life. Spa and pool are both stunning. That pool view again is 10x better in real life. Nothing can prepare you for it. I could sit there and look off in to the jungle for days on end animal spotting. The massage was absolutely insane and I don’t think any other will live up to it- and spa prices are so reasonable. While of course a luxury, under $100 for a 60 minute massage of that quality was mind blowing. In short- we are so grateful to the team at Neptune Ngorongoro for making this part of our honeymoon particularly special. Not only do I wish we could go back- I wish we never left.

Beautiful lodge with pristine lodging and gardens. Warm and friendly staff. Food was excellent and varied. The lodge is located near the crater gate, which is handy as it does get busy at the gate first thing when jeeps and guides queue for permits. I had wanted to stay in the park on the rim, but in fact, this was a great place with beautiful views. In the crater, it is foggy in the mornings, and so you would have been able to see the views anyway. The traditional Masai songs around the fire were great and the hot water bottles in bed and an open fire in the bedroom were a welcome treat on a chilly night.

We had an amazing time here on our honeymoon! Muni took care of us and was so accommodating. Everyone goes above and beyond here. We had a room with a jacuzzi overlooking the landscape and the room was so beautiful. They had special touches for our honeymoon and we especially loved that they put warm water bottles to heat the bed before we went to sleep (so nice when it was a bit chillier). We wish we could have stayed longer! 1 night was not enough!! Thank you!

My only regret is that we had longer to stay here! Absolute luxury. The cabin was enormous with a beautiful overview to watch animals come down from the hills. The meals were delicious with several options and the drinks were delicious. Everything was done with purpose and intent by this staff. Would highly recommend.

Oil not have asked for a better experience. The staff is outstanding and service top notch. The resort is beautiful and our room was gorgeous.
