Dreams Dominicus La Romana

We had a great experience at the Caoba Buffet at Secrets La Romana. The food was very good, but what really made our experience special was the service. David Santana was absolutely wonderful, very friendly, attentive, and always making sure we had everything we needed. His kindness and great attitude really stood out! Thank you, David, for making our experience even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated your excellent service!

Secrets buffet for breakfast- delicious food and great service with David Santana

The service at this hotel is excellent! Our concierge,Tiera, provided us with the definition of hospitality. Danny, Mary and Miah also provided wonderful service too. Even our valet and morning server at breakfast were personable, professional and friendly. This team should be recognized by Hilton for their outstanding service. The hotel is fantastic too and within close walking distance to historic Savannah and River Street. You are in for a great stay here.

David Santana was great!! Great time

For starters, I would say this resort has been an absolute dream. Some of the best views we have ever come across, very clean and all the staff are very friendly. Especially Belkis Mejia who serves everyone around the infinity pool and always made sure we were never left without a drink. Jose at the infinity pool bar was also great. The resort is essentially 1 hotel split in half. The adults side and the family side. The main chunk of the entertainment is on the family side with an amphitheater that has many performances including a Michael Jackson tribute night (much better than expected). We had a garden view room and it was great. Very clean and spectacular views of a very well kept garden. I would say what this hotel lacks is a decent bar in the evening. It would be nice to have an outside bar perhaps near the beach rather than being stuck in the lobby. There is a sports bar which is very lively with screens everywhere as well as pool/billiards tables. This was on the family side. We were very satisfied with the restaurants. The adults side (secrets) restaurants were a lot less chaotic than the restaurants situated on the dreams side. I say this because sometimes on the dreams side we were sometimes left without no cutlery for our mains after using them for starters. I’d say this happened 2 or 3 times out of our 12 days. We were also left without a drink at times. But as a whole we have no complaints about the food. The buffet breakfast and lunches were some of the better ones we’ve had. As a whole we loved this hotel and would highly recommend.
