Dreams Dominicus La Romana

This trip was to celebrate 2 birthdays, & our very first time at an all inclusive resort. We all decided to upgrade to the Preferred Club, & it made our trip over the top!! Our Concierge for our group was Byron, who is a master in his position!! Byron single-handedly attended to all 10 of us, & ALWAYS with a smile!! From coolers on the beach, snack boxes on the beach, special drinks, & helped us make reservations! Without Byron, our trip would have been good…but with Byron, it was outstanding!! Every night we met in the Preferred Lounge, & enjoyed amazing cocktails prepared by Junior, & enjoyed the top notch food bar. We would definitely recommend Secrets La Romana with the Preferred to anyone!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent hotel and wonderful honeymoon! We had an amazing stay at Secrets La Romana and would highly recommend this resort to everyone. The hotel, food, and staff were excellent. We would especially like to thank Angelo, Alexander, and Picasso, the guys from the beach who organized various activities for us every day and made our stay even more enjoyable. We would also like to mention the gentleman working at the towel station, who was always kind and helpful. The food was diverse, delicious, and there was something for everyone. This was our beautiful honeymoon, and we created memories that will stay with us forever. We truly hope to come back one day. The only negative experience we had was with the doctor at the clinic located inside the resort. He sent us to a hospital located about an hour away just because my ear was clogged and needed a simple cleaning. We ended up spending almost the entire night there, where additional procedures such as blood tests, an IV, and medications were added unnecessarily, seemingly only to increase the bill. My advice is to visit the doctor only if it is absolutely necessary. As for that particular experience, I would rate it a -5. Apart from this issue, our stay at Secrets La Romana was fantastic, and we would gladly return again! 🌴🤍🇩🇴

Diorka was so pleasant, friendly & made us feel like family which is the atmosphere here at the resort. She worked hard all day to keep us happy & hydrated. Love her personality. Danilo was great. Always updated with what was going on daily. Brought drinks in a cooler to the beach.

This is my third stay at the adults section of this Hotel. My last two trips were when it was the Hilton. I liked it then and like it now equally as the Hyatt. Even though staying at the adults section I ventured into the family section often and can tell you it is equally as nice. The service of the staff is excellent. All of the them were friendly and smiled. Food was good. No complaints. ALL the Pools are excellant. I think I like the family pool the best because of its design and they have a good snack bar with good pizza! The beach is as good as it gets. White sand. Clear calm aqua green water. Lots of palms. Rooms are clean. Updated. No plumbing or a/c issues. Grounds are pretty and clean. Just a little note here. This hotel does seem to cater to those seeking some action. Lots of music playing in most sections of the beach and pool area. DJ's yelling into the microphones to get guests into having fun. There were times where I would have preferred some quiet time just listening to the waves. You do get that though if you go to the beach in the morning which I always did. The action picks up at around 11 a.m. So if you prefer a quieter trip thats at one with nature this might not be the place for you. Otherwise this hotel is excellant.
