Dreams Dominicus La Romana

Very pleasant stay, the staff was always friendly, good-spirited and willing to help. The overall quality, diversity and presentation of the food has been very good, better than expected. I have to confess being with some doubts prior to the arrival, as many resorts have a 5* classification and do not meet the standards, but Secrets does. Trully recomend!

We had the absolute best week! Luiding our butler was the best! Would highly recommend a swim up room and the preferred status is key! Our butler was top notch and truly made our trip- he always had a cooler packed for us and arranged for a special dinner on the pier for us on our last night! The preferred lounge was also great, we ended up there multiple times a day, for snacks or drinks. So many memories made, thank you!!!

Secrets La Romana is an amazing resort with amazing people. Our first night here we met Adolfina at the Preferred Lounge. From day one, she took care of us. Always smiling, Completely professional. She made us whatever drink we requested with enthusiasm and care. Our vacation would not have been the same without her. Diorka Meija also did an amazing job with welcoming us each day on the beach. She has a warm demeanor and helped create a friendly atmosphere. My husband and I were on vacation for our anniversary, and both Aldolfina and Diorka ensured that we had a relaxing time with a drink in hand every day. Overall the service at Secrets La Romana is top notch. We will definitely be back.

Hotel lovely. We went as prefered guests which had extra perks and your own lounge with snacks and premium drinks. The beach area was lovely and had its own area for prefered guests. The drinks were frequently broughr by Diorka who always had a smile on her face. L Very quiet location. There were water sports and trips to Catalina island off the beach. The restaurants vary, went to Sakara and Noor several times. The Tapenyaki at Sakura was good you have to book. Some of the restaurants were ok and the food varied. I would say the seasoning of the food wasn't always to my liking and could have done with more salt and pepper. The beach grill was good and we had our daily cheeseburger which was cooked to order. Rooms were cleaned well and our daily cleaner Claudia was really good and very attentive to detail. Only restaurant in Dreams which we didn't enjoy was the Peruvian which had too many covers and couldn't cope wiht the capacity. That was the only bad experince although we didn't go to all the restaurants in the resort which included Dreams. The swim area was safe and we saw lots of fish and even a couple of turtles close to the shore. All in all a good experience. We enjoyed our stay.
