This not as the propaganda says!!! :(

**A Hotel That Sells Itself as the Best... But Isn't** This hotel markets itself as a luxury resort, but unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the expectations. The biggest issue was the rooms. They had a terrible musty smell caused by moisture and mold. The odor was so strong that it made the rooms very uncomfortable. Housekeeping was also disappointing in the first two rooms we were assigned. We had to change rooms three times during our stay. The hotel even placed a dehumidifier in one of the rooms to help with the moisture problem. The third room was finally acceptable, with much better conditions and almost no unpleasant smell. However, we spent the first two days of our vacation packing and moving from room to room instead of relaxing, this is a Big Shame!!! The front desk staff did not seem to appreciate our complaints, which was frustrating. However, one employee, **Ms. Ross**, was outstanding. She was professional, honest, caring, and genuinely tried to help us. She was by far the best member of the front desk team. **The food? ** The specialty restaurants were very disappointing. The quality was poor, and the meals were below what you would expect from a luxury resort. The best dining experience was the **Spice Market** buffet at dinner. It offered the greatest variety and the best quality, especially the grilled dishes. The chef preparing the fresh pasta was excellent. **The beach?** The beach at Secrets is very small. The beach at the neighboring Dreams resort is much better. The best part of both resorts is the crystal-clear, calm water with almost no waves. That was definitely the highlight of our stay. **The cocktails?** The best cocktails were at the pool bar at Dreams. The drinks at Secrets were disappointing and of noticeably lower quality. **The service?** The staff throughout the resort was one of its strongest points. Most employees were friendly, courteous, and genuinely tried to make guests happy. Overall, considering how expensive Secrets is, the facilities simply do not match the price. Perhaps the higher-end suites offer better rooms without the mold and humidity issues, but be prepared to pay much more of **$2,700 per person or more**. In the end, the beach and the beautiful, calm water were the best part of the trip. You may have a much better overall experience by staying at a nearby hotel that offers better facilities at a lower price while still enjoying the same beautiful beach. By the way: The Public Beach is next to Secret Resort, and it is the Best Beach and super wide and large, But the Beach for Secret or Dreams! Be careful, these resorts are super Expensive, at least for our Budget...

AMAZING!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel, and I honestly can’t imagine staying anywhere else. The entire staff and the overall atmosphere are exceptional and make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. A special thank you to Amairy, Belkis, Jessica, Luis, Misael, and Clauss. They went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable and helped us celebrate my sister’s birthday, making it even more special. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality truly made all the difference. We can’t wait to come back and visit them again. Thank you all for another amazing stay!

Didn't want to leave!

If you're looking for a quiet, relaxed, and romantic location with Caribbean blue water, white sand, and coconut trees, this is the place. The facilities were clean, modern, well-maintained. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially in the preferred club areas, but even across the resort we were pleased with the service. Our room was a first level oceanview room located just in front of the infinity pool. At first we were concerned it would not be private enough for us, but quickly came to love the convenient location and the exceptional view. Our room was clean and comfortable. The shower water pressure was fantastic with an overhead showerhead and a detachable option; so refreshing after a day at the pool or beach or out on an excursion. The overall vibe was perfect for us -- very chill and romantic -- just what we were hoping for. It was nice to have access to the amenities at the family resort just next door (Dreams) to have a few extra dining options and an extended area to have an evening stroll. But our favorite was the ambience and vibe of the Secrets restaurant and lounge areas.

We had a great experience. Especially in the infini pool because Amairy Nolasco and Belkis Melia were really good with us. They always took care of us.
