As you make your way to Dreams Dominicus La Romana, a blanket of blue comes into focus as you approach this seaside sanctuary. This is paradise, Dominican Republic style, where families and couples can reacquaint and singles can mingle with like-minded guests. The collection of rooms and suites, with canopied beds draped in luxe fabrics and beverage refrigerators stocked with a stash of complimentary drinks, are capsules of luxury. But it is the resort's signature Unlimited-Luxury®, program, a concept where just about everything is included, that truly dazzles even the most seasoned resort aficionados. Food and beverages, activities and recreational equipment, entertainment and clubs for kids and teens are all included in your stay.

For My wife and I, this was our second stay. After our first we didn't think it could be topped, we were wrong. Victor, our concierge took amazing care of us. During our stay, Victor was scheduled for some well deserved time off, so Byron took over, he was also amazing and he treated us very well. We celebrated our wedding anniversary during our stay and once agin, over the top service. While we were at the pool, the staff decorate our room, left a bottle of wine and a bottle champagne, along with some chocolate scored strawberries. In addition, they also decorated our door and placed decorations and balloons on the walls in our room and covered our bed with flowers. They go above and beyond to make specials days more special. During our stay, the hotel changed ownership and went from a Hilton to a Hyatt. The services were not impacted in the slightest. We are already planning our next stay at this resort. It is one of our favorite places to vacation now. It takes more than a few people to make this resort one to remember. I want to recognize and thank everyone that works at this resort and work behind the scenes to make the resort a paradise. From front desk staff, the Preferred lounge staff, the maids, wait staff, security, bus boys, grounds people, laundry and security. If I left anyone out I apologize. All of these folks play a part in making our stay as worry free as possible. I recommend booking a swim out room and getting a preferred reservation. This opens up the entire resort to you. Again, I want to thank everyone at the resort for their hospitality, attention to detail and for being wonderful friendly people.

This was out 14th all-inclusive trip and my husband and I concurred that this was probably one of the top resorts of all that we've been to... Hilton La Romana now Secrets La Romana (recent purchase by Hyatt). We went with 3 other couples. The restaurants were 9.5/10⭐️: Noor, Chinola, Mare and the Grill were our favorites and each with amazing ambiance, too! A diverse international crowd made it interesting: most of the people we met were from Spain, Argentina, England, Portugal, France, Germany, and a few from the US. Brush up on your Espanol! If you go, def stop by the massage hut by the volleyball court and get Karina or Antonia to give you a "free 5-minute chair massage" (we went by multiple times over the week and tipped them well for each massage, and also booked a massage that was on a $99 special which was great!). These 2 ladies have magic hands! The water slides and lazy river were a blast for grown-ups, too! We booked a 2pm Hobie Cat sail daily as well (included). The Fun-team made the experience extra FUN! Zumba in the ocean with 70 other people, hat painting, outside games, fitness classes, etc. Shout out to Yuliana, Maria, Reyes, Anavelis, Yulieta, Miguel, Rene the rock, Luz Portoreal, Pablo Picasso, Freddy. We found chairs right on the water at a little nook that was like our private beach! Shout out to the best beach bartender Bardi and our daily buffet breakfast waitress, Yanins. All of it was truly fabulous, heartfelt service. If you have a World of Hyatt or Hilton Honors membership, ask about the Preferred options if you like a quiet spot where food and drinks are always available for you. We usually don't repeat resorts - but this one is worth repeating!

We were at this hotel as it changed hands to Hyatt, so any comments will not be needed now by Hilton. However there are comments to be said. We did enjoy our stay but sometimes the food did disappoint.... in the family buffet especially. But the staff are who deserve praise. In Caoba restaurant Rosa del Carmen, Silene Limares, Yuderka Joseph, Miguel Arredondo and young Hosmel and Yorlenis. At the adults infinity pool Amairy Nolasco and our excellent room girl Casilda Oleo. At the grill restaurant, Rodolfo Ramirez. Beiny Martinez in Le Moustache. And my lovely breakfast omlette girl and juice girl....whose names I couldn't get, sorry. Some of the staff in Caoba were so kind that they gave us presents before we left of a Dominican fridge magnet, a hat, and a beautiful Dominican mug. Such kindness we will not forget, bless them. One negative for us was the glass partitions in the buffet. I really do hope that these are removed and with them the queues. Please ensure these staff members are kept....but there were others too. We will watch for changes closely. Thank you.

They really made our stay special and unique! We would totally go there again in a heartbeat! And the fact this resort was right next to the Dreams La Romana and it gave you access to it as well was very cool!

We upgraded to the Enclave and had a beautiful swim-up room — 100% worth it. The added touches, exclusive areas, and that direct pool access made the whole experience feel extra special and so relaxing. Enclave swim up bar was fabulous, the drinks were amazing and extra credit to Olga working behind the bar- she was amazing 😆 The food was incredible, and as a coeliac who sticks to a strict gluten free diet, I was seriously impressed. The staff’s knowledge across all the restaurants and care around dietary needs was amazing — especially at the Cacao buffet where Carlos went above and beyond to make sure I had safe and delicious options every day. He truly made me feel so looked after and confident eating there! No complaints about the restaurants - beautiful food and atmosphere at all of them in their own way! The hotel itself is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful yet fun, and the staff are some of the friendliest I’ve ever met. From start to finish, it was the perfect holiday. Can’t wait to go back! ❤️
